Back in the day we didn't even have dice. I had to chew off my finger and file the bones down for our first set of dice -- and we were "grateful".Yep -- Grognard.
(grabs his listnin' horn)
What did ya say, sonny? Why I remember my first PC, I played a caveman warrior... no wait... I was a caveman warrior... I believe I played a were-smilodon shaman named Chaka.

Excellent. Now that we're establishing cliques here I can comfortably fall through the cracks between divisions and exist on the fringe as an outsider like I have most of my life. Normalcy has been reestablished.
I hereby dub thee part of the Outsider clique! Normalcy is an illusion (especially around here).

Great to see I'm not the only one! (And don't worry, the sub-faction throws everyone... I'm a clique unto myself. 8D)

Hey all, when Lilith said she's too young to be a grognard, I got to thinking that desperate times call for desperate measures. Since Pathfinder RPG, under the creative leadership of Erik Mona (our coronated King of the Grognards), is a continuation of the game we've loved for 30+ years, I am sure the grognard group will be dispensing honorary grognard titles to anyone who continues with our traditions rather than sell-out with 4e.
The decision to support and stay 3.5/PRPG/OGL is a critically important one. Showing community support now, means continued support from the hundreds of companies that have produced the game material, software, and accessories we love. Because these are desperate times, as we asert ourselves as a viable continuation of dungeons and dragons history, I (as your PAX) am willing to dispense such dispensation to allow Lilith to call herself a grognard (for these special reasons). I'm sure any long-time player of the game will appreciate those who continue it, in the name of Pathfinder. Because at this point, the grognard line has been cut by wotc, but our history and traditions continue here, in the PAIZO royal house.

Chaka reference for the win!!!
My mother met Wesley Eure (Will Marshall from Land of the Lost)at a party in California back in the 70's. Did you know he was hired to replace David Cassidy on The Patridge Family, but the show ended before he could? I can't imagine Keith being played so wide-eyed and manic. Eure went on to make some serious moves in television production.
I wonder how Holly's doing? Wait, I just checked. She's going to have a small part in a Land of the Lost movie with Wil Ferrel. Neat.

Ah, another one for the Moody Loner clique! Come join our team for your complimentary twin scimitars and / or adamantium claws. :)
We also have cigars, trenchcoats and, don't tell anyone, poetry slams.

I'm a member of the extremely lost periphery floating types who would like to post more and recognize peoples names here but just don't seem to have the time to game as much (or go online as much) these days. All in all I think Paizo is a really cool place with a great core of people and have never felt more at ease online. :)

D, you're probably missing the designator because you're using an alias and not your original account. If you ask, Paizo can probably make this your primary account.
