I am just curious, who will buy Beta and who will wait for the final product before they buy Pathfinder? I have to admit that I will most likely be waiting for the final product before I buy because of my tight budget. However, I will also say that regardless of what I decide to do as far as buying Beta, I will be asking for the Pathfinder core book for my Christmas present for 2009.

I will be reviewing the Beta PDF first, then deciding on purchasing the print version. I haven't printed the Alpha, so I don't see any real need to have the Beta on dead tree. I'm quite certain I will be picking up the final book, if nothing else to sell whatever group I'm involved with at the time on it. I suppose I'll go preorder it now, actually.

Given the prevalence of laptops at our table, I don't think anyone in our group will be buying the Beta (though I could be wrong).
I think a couple of us will buy the final.
This is most likely what I will do as well. If it were entirely up to me I would be buying both, but my wife is not a gamer and would not understand why I need to buy Beta and THEN buy the final book when to her eyes they would be essentially the same. I'm still trying to find a way to convince her to let me buy the campaign setting after buying the Gazetteer.

I will wait for the final one to be ready as I always tend to be one of those wait till every one else works out the bugs kind of guy. If I was going to print and use the beta version to game before the final pathfinder edition though I would be buying the beta version (it is a lot cheaper in the long run I am thinking).

Both on pre-order. If you're going to be using the rules for the year in between, it seems to be a no-brainer to go ahead and order the Beta. It's half the price of the final version, so you're not 'paying double'.
Also Kinko's took me for $17 to print Alpha 3 (B&W, spiral bound). I must say it really feels nice to have it printed and bound - far more so than I even expected.
