I'm a Donor Tissue Recovery Technician.

I recover donated human tissue for transplant. Not organs, mind you, but corneas, long bones, skin, saphenous veins, and heart for valves.

I'm also a mortician.

Support your local funeral home: drop dead!

Hooligan, trouble maker, and tramp.

The pay is great, but the insurance package kind of sucks.

Senior Programmer/Analyst for a private company.

Update: I am now a studio artist at the USA's largest independent book publisher. I make dummy books and displays for the purposes of sales and promotion. I also supplement that with a growing freelance illustration business in the RPG market.
James! You got a job? Congratulations. What products include your work? I dig what you do.

Thanks, Sebastian. I've been there for a couple of months and it's a decent gig. I do mock-ups for everything coming out in the fall for Workman Publishing, including a licensed product that is near and dear to science fiction types. I don't know if it's okay to talk about some of it, even if I just do grunt work, since there was an NDA active for a little while.

For my own stuff, there's Adam Daigle's "The Havenmire Gauntlet" from Highmoon and some work for forthcoming Kobold Quarterly issues and a fairly large Open Design project.

I'm a part time rural carrier for the USPS. I'm also a driver for Dominos, when they schedule me.

I'm slowly working on my own campaign setting I want to publish.

I sell auto parts. I don't install it, but you tell me the problem and I sell you what will fix it. Fun Fun

I'm a nuclear medicine technologist.
I inject people with radioactive tracers and take pictures.
Right now I do PET scans; it's mostly oncology work. I also do call a lot at another hospital for straight nuclear medicine stat procedures.

I thought I posted on this thread before.....

I throw boxes, supporting my fiance as she gets edumacated.

If you buy something from TJ Maxx in the Northeastern U.S., there's a good chance I've thrown it.

Newspaper reporter. Officially, I cover public safety, but I refer to it as the murder and mayhem beat. Fun stuff, although once or twice a year I get stuck writing about some horrible crime against a child, which makes me want to crack my staff of the magi and blow up the world. Violence between consenting adults doesn't bother me.

I teach British literature and writing for EFL students in a Chinese University, HIT Weihai branch.

I also do technical writing and editing for EFL textbooks.

I don't suppose you have an opening there.

I've worked for various local contractors and builders in the past, but about a year and a half ago I joined the maintenance staff at a brand new hospital in Willliamsburg, Va. I've been on evening shift ever since (3-11:30).

Back on topic: If I haven't already mentioned it, I'm a hydrogeologist. I thought I'd said so, but the thread lacks a dot, and obviously we should all trust computers more than our own brains (never mind the November 17 post by someone with my name saying the same thing).
