Etienne opens himself once to the shifting patterns of the ether. He listens for the unmistakable siren call of evil.

Detect Evil. Trying to find out how many auras he can detect.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

As the dust settles around him Blackleaf rolls to his feet sweeping his ax off the floor as he moves and makes for a door

Ok starting from the door we just came though left to right where are the doors?

Talam slowly makes his behind the counter to the door. He begins to inspect the door and the area around it.

Spoiler:
Search 1d20+2=13. If it winds up being trapped, Disable Device 1d20+6=24, and if not Talam slowly and as quietly as he can opens the door.

Male Elf (Crying Leaf) Transmuter 1

Listening carefully, Talacyst steps towards the safe to get a better look. His hands hover near the spell component pouches at his belt.

Does the safe look like it was forced open or anything like that?
Talacyst listens (1d20+3=15) and examines the safe. (1d20+3=11)

Male Human Cleric 1

Coppertop moves to the door with his spear at the ready. He takes a guarding position as close to Talam as possible with out interfering with Talam’s work. He whispers, somewhat loudly, “We should hurry.”

You detect a mass of evil further into the building, its hard to tell how many because of the grouping of auras.

Two on the left wall, one on the far wall ahead of you and one to your right.

"Indeed, Coppertop, we should hurry. I detect a mass of evil beyond." Etienne draws his sword and readies his shield. "Is the door locked?"

Spoiler:
You find the door to be unlocked. You peer out into the next room and find yourself looking down a long hallway off to your right and a smaller one that leads to a back door to your left.

On inspection of the safe you can easily see it was not forced as the key is still in it as you look closer. The safe is completly empty.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

blackleaf stands still boiling with rage runto the middle door and yanks it open

should have 5? rounds of rage left

Male Halfling Rogue/3

"Shall we go left or right", Talam peers into the room, then looks back at Coopertop and Etienne.

Male Human Cleric 1

“I think we should head in the direction of blackleaf's diversion," says Coppertop anxiously.

I don’t know if that is right or left. Coppertop and the other PC’s should have a pretty good idea.

Female Elf Druid 2

Staying close to Coppertop, Talam and Etienne the elven woman closes her eyes briefly and tries to focus on the noises in the building to get a better feeling of their surroundings. Clutching her quarterstaff she keeps an ear out for both the elven barbarian and for any enemies that may be lurking about.

Listen (1d20+6=24)

Detecting for mass of evil again. Can I get a fix on its location? Direction at least.

For Blackleaf, Talacyst and Fael

Spoiler:
Blackleaf crashs through the middle door with a very loud bang. The door is thrown back off its hinges and you feel a blast of heat coming from the room. You see what looks to be the area where all the glass is made and you also see a gruesome sight, bodies and body parts everywhere, the smell of burnt flesh hits you as you enter. Doing all this you can see multiple small humanoids with flat faces, broad noses, pointed ears and small sharp teeth shaped in wide grins as they are having fun at what they are doing.

They do not see you as of yet because they are making so much noise on the own.

Liberty's Edge

For Coppertop, Etienne, Vraelyn, and Talam

Spoiler:
You are all poised by the door when you hear a very large crash coming from the long hallway to your right.

Talam notices another door he did not spot in the gloom almost diagonal from where he is looking out, but your focus is down the hall where the noise came from.

Vraelyn hears the crash mostly but can hear the evil shrieks of glee coming from the rear of the building.

Etienne detects the evil coming from the back of the building and can sense over 5-6 evil auras moving about in an excited manner.

I will be attending Paizo Con here in Seattle this weekend but I am going to try and keep up with the posting hopefully so keep you eyes peeled.

Good luck! Say hello to Lisa Stevens for me.

Male Human Cleric 1

Coppertop waits nervously. He will follow Etienne Nevar's lead.

Male Elf (Crying Leaf) Transmuter 1

Keeping back far enough that the smoke and heat doesn't upset his lungs, Talacyst squints into the room.

How many figures do I see? Are they goblins?
I'll stay out of the room, but within 25 feet of Blackleaf if I can.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

How many are there in the room? If its less then 10 Blackleafs not even gonna slow down hes gonna charge em

Spoiler:
Not sure what kind of pentaly it would be to try to open the door quickly, assuming it's locked of course...1d20+8=19

Talam turns slightly from the job at hand, "You never know when a good set of tools will get you otta a jam. Thats what I was taught atleast". He chuckeles a bit, and turns back.

Talacyst, Fael and Blackleaf,

Having fought goblins just days ago you can diffinatly say these are goblins. You see about 7-8 figures, they are moving around having fun causing mischief so its hard to tell!

Roll attack and init and for a surprise round!

For Talam, Eteinne, Vraelyn and Coppertop

Talam finds the door is unlocked! You hear a loud battle cry coming from inside the room!

The halfling swings the door open as he reaches for his sickes, "Well looks like we made it in time for the party!"

Spoiler:
What does Talam see on entering the room. And in case we need it Init 1d20+4

Female Elf Druid 2

Vraelyn carefully notches an arrow in her shortbow and follows the halfling into the room covering him and keeping an eye out for what in the room may be most dangerous.

Male Elf (Crying Leaf) Transmuter 1

Glad you enjoyed it, Zoom! I've only been to one convention before, but I know how much fun they can be.
Stifling a cough, Talacyst quietly readies his bow, holding it in his left hand in order to keep his right available for spellcasting. He looks to Blackleaf and nods, showing that he will follow the barbarian's lead.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

upon seeing the goblins Blackleaf doesn't even brake his stride. With a thunderous yell he charges into the nearest goblin ax a swinging

hey man glad ya enjoyed the con and made it back safe.Lets see blckleaf is rageing so Str is 20 AC 14 HP 15. Charging that drops the AC to 12. total to hit is 1+7+4=12.....15+12=27 and his damage is 9+7=16

OPPS forgot his Initiative 16+2=18

Male Human Cleric 1

Initiative:
(1d20 1=2)

Oh good grief.

Liberty's Edge

Everyone sees surprised goblins everywhere as blackleaf rushes into the room yelling and making his attack.

I need init and attack rolls from everyone at this point!

Human Human Favored Soul 1

initiative(glassworks) (1d20+1=15)

Fael follows Blackleaf into the room, her eyes widening as she sees the carnage.
Not having fought goblins before, but recognizing them from the descriptions she got during her language lessons, she says (in goblin), "You are bad! Very, very bad! I'm gonna have to punish you... a lot."
She then chants something in difficult-to-remember words, and looks suddenly more... dangerous?
Cast divine favor in the surprise round.

Male Halfling Rogue/3

Talam watches as Blackleaf rushes into battle, "Hmm, can't let him have all the fun right", as makes his way into the fray.

Spoiler:

Male Elf (Crying Leaf) Transmuter 1

Taking a deep breath of the somewhat clear air in the hall, Talacyst steps forward into the smokey room, his hands making a few deft gestures and producing several spell components.

Initiative. (1d20 3=10)
I have a little list of options...

Spoiler:
1. If he moves into the room before my initiative, cast Enlarge Person on Etienne, giving -2 AC, +2 Str, -1 attack bonus and enlarging his weapons size. See chart a ways down the page.
2. If he can safely get within 15 feet of at least two goblins, move into the room and cast Color Spray.
3. Cast Enlarge Person on Coppertop.
4. Cast Enlarge Person on Blackleaf.

I'm putting you last on this one, Blackleaf, because I don't think it'd be a good idea to lower your AC any more this round. :-)

Female Elf Druid 2

Initiative (1d20+1=18)

Etienne moves forward to meet the foul goblins infesting the glassworks. He invoke the name of his deity, "Iomedae, guide my hand!" As he strikes at one of the goblins.

Init (1d20+5=13)

Attack; Damage (1d20+4=23, 1d8+2=4)

Confirm Crit (1d20+4=19)

Additional Dmg in case of Crit (1d8+2=7)

Male Human Cleric 1

Coppertop is stunned by the sight of the goblins in the glass works. As the shock wears off he springs into action.

Since Coppertop is destined to go last (again!) I would like to see what actions the others are taking before stating his action. It's like he gets a free "delay" action every round. :(

Liberty's Edge

Found a map for us to use for the battle on dm tools. I think it looks very cool and very close to the original. I have marked the goblins and will post tonight the init order. Map
Click on Glassworks battlemap and view on full size. It might take a moment to load.

Etienne, Coppertop, Talam and Vraelyn are coming through the north door and Fael, Blackleaf and Talacyst through the south. Each group can't see each other yet due to smoke, goblins and the way the room is designed. And your not sure if the other group is there or not either, your pc would be just guessing at this point.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

I should be able to charge goblin 2 or 3 right? I am not good with using battle maps I never use them in homegames so if i am wrong just let me know

Sounds fair, and great map.

In that case, I'm going to throw the Enlarge Person on Blackleaf (and hope for the best).

Moments after he rushes into the room, the enraged Blackleaf swells rapidly to nearly twice his height. His axe, already decidedly large, becomes truly massive.

From the back of the room, (at the end of the first table) Talacyst manages a slight smile as his magic does its thing.

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

Oh my my and enlarges blackleaf.....this could be bad lets see.Lets see blckleaf is rageing so Str is 20 AC 14 HP 15. Charging that drops the AC to 12. And now enlarged so that a +2 str making it 22, -2 dex maeking it 12 dropping his ac to 11 also -1 to attack and ac on top of that making his AC now 10.

total to hit is 1+9+4=14. If i kept the last to hit roll its 1 point higher .....15+12=27[28] and his damage would have to be rerolled so that would be 3d6+9...ugh 6+4+3+9=22

I may get hit easy but damed thats gonna hurt somebody

Liberty's Edge

South Door-
Blackleaf
Fael
Talacyst

The smoke is heavy, a lot of it trying to escape out the door you just crashed through. The carnage before you is gruesome to say the least and the stench of human flesh burning makes it very hard for you to concentrate but it also makes you mad, very mad.

Talacyst through the smoke and stench some how concentrates and blast arcane strengh into Blackleaf who begins to grow before your eyes.

Blackleaf's rage take into effect even more as he grows stronger and bigger. He attacks the first goblin he sees(g3) raising his axe he swings down on the surprised goblin and splits the goblin in two pieces.

Fael is also mumbling as she steps into the room calling upon her diety for help and is granted her blessing making the little girl very dangerous.

Liberty's Edge

North door
Etienne
Vraelyn
Coppertop
Talam

In front of you are three goblins and a mess of dead bodies all over the area around them. The smoke billows out the door through you as you enter also bring with it the stench of burning flesh. Its hard to concentrate but you focus because the scene in front of you makes you very mad.

Etienne steps through the door and attacks teh first goblin he can lay his hands on(g7) who is busy chopping up what looks to be a human leg. He swings his trusty sword shouting "Iomedae, guide my hand!" and easily take the goblins head off sending it against the wall with a large crunch sound.

Talam follows in behind Etienne and slips by attacking a goblin whose is just turning around to see what hit the wall so loud(g6). His attack catches the goblin so off guard his weapon strikes a killing blow.

Ok I need Vraelyn and Coppertop's attacks before we move on to the first round of combat!

Liberty's Edge

Here is the init order for combat. We will start the first round as soon as we finsh the surprise round here shortly. Go ahead though and post your actions for round one so we can keep things going!

Goblin 3=Dead
Goblin Warchanter
Vraelyn
Blackleaf
goblin 4
Goblin 7=Dead
Goblin 5
Etienne
Goblin 1
Talacyst
Talam
Goblin 6=Dead
Coppertop

Male Elf Ranger { Skirmisher} 1

Blood dripping from his ax Blackleaf simply sweeps his ax to the left with a yell
"PAi KYRdOL PAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAi"
His voice booming though out the room

Spoiler:
DIE GOBLIN DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE'

ok not charging this time so AC is back to 12 hit should be a little less ...2 less really other then that not alot of change rage 4 rds left including round 1 goblin2 9+9=18 and the damage3+3+5+9=20
