Well someone had to do it, my wife and I made an mp3 of the goblin song to play during the raid. Don't expect too much of it but I thought why not share it. Made with the freeware program Audacity. Let's just say, knowing my players much hilarity will ensue when we play it and isn't that the goal of the goblins? :)

Feel free to use it, but at your own risk! I represent Warchanter Gortrok and his choir

After our vacation (3 weeks yay!) we'll be making others from the Goblin song thread.

edit: fixed the link

Good job! Can't wait for more!

Dark Archive

great! I want to hear the with screams version. The link isn't working :( Now I guess Burn Victim has to do a cover of the goblin song, thanks for the inspiration.

Haah! That's awesome :D
I can't listen to the "with screams" version though.. it's giving me an error page.

Wow.

That's gotta be one of the more surreal moments of my career in the RPG industry, listening to that. Well done! :)

"With Screams" is even better than without. Freakin awesome!

Nice job. I like the screams in the background.

You beat me to this. Me and my band were gonna take a try at doing this song with like electric guitars and everything, but then again, yours is more realistic for a medieval period. :P

(Though a goblin with an electric guitar...hmm...)

Cool, the link's workin' now... That is truly one of the coolest things ever. I am totally playing the "with screams" version on loop for my PCs next week when we play.

:D

Don't let that stop you. We'll feast on most creative juices.

Nice job! Eerily it's close to how I sing it. I should record my version and post it here!

Sovereign Court

This is awesome! Definitely going to save it away and it may be my new ringtone...

If you and your wife are up for it, I'd be interested to hear a version with your vocal parts reversed. Goblins higher pitched with the lower tone in the background would be spooky. Think "REDRUM".

Dark Archive

Hehe, my wife is actually quite talented with her voice, then again she comes from a musical family, I on the other hand have no talent with singing except for goblin voices ;)

Paizo Employee Chief Creative Officer, Publisher

Given that he posted above, I'm surprised to see James Jacobs here. I would have thought he'd have died and gone to heaven.

This is the kind of thing that makes me want to keep a laptop behind the screen...

Excellent work.

Hah! Well done!

This is awesome! Great work. I wondered when someone would do it. And you've obviously got the approval and praise of the Paizo staff.

Very well done :)

Do it!

Puh-Leeeze!
That would rock!

Panda, that's the rockingest thing that ever rocked a rock.

I think you should get a gift from the Paizo prize vault.

Definately better with screams! Great job!

To kewl. Now all we need is to get that programed into a plushy doll so when you squeeze him he sings heh. I'd so keep that on the dash of my squad car at work.

WOW. Just wow. That's awesome.

Songs with screams ... all the way.

My toddler is dancing around the room to it. She loves it. Good thing she doesn't understand, although I find it odd she isn't bothered by the screams.

That's my kind of woman.

I was on the fence between running RotRL and "Demonweb Pits" for my group. This recording pushed me squarely into preparing RotRL. I'll be letting you know how my group reacts to actually hearing the ravenous runts singing. Thanks to you and your wife.

Great ! thanks.

that is just so creepy... thanks for sharing!

That is the coolest and geekiest thing that I've ever heard. Excellent job!

Now THAT is awesome. I'm starting to think about the "Murloc Says..." video that was on Penny Arcade for a while.

heh I'd love to see a video to that...

Fabulous! I wish I'd seen this before running today! I've got a remote control for my computer's sound :)

My version went over pretty well though - with all the extra songs in the "more goblin songs" forum.

Many thanks!

I wish our answering machine could hold more since this would make an excellent choice to keep up for a year.

Absolutely Fabulous!!!

LOVE IT!

Not as lyrical as I imagined it would be, but then again it is supposed to be more of a chant. Can't wait to hear more.

P.S. yes - screams make this one better

Soon there will be a K-Tel album of "Goblin Hits" for use in your campaign!

Can't you just hear the late night TV commercial.....

"You asked for it....you got it! Straight from the goblin halls in Southern Varisia.....GOBLIN CHANTS!

Yes, that's right! Now you can listen to some of the most visceral Goblin chants to ever frighten adventurers - RIGHT IN YOUR OWN HOME!

We've included unforgettable hits like: "Boil the Baby in the Bathwater," "Humie Hunt," and the incredible classic "Put the Bodies in the Boxes and Take Them Downstairs!"

But wait, that's not all...we've added a second disc for all you lovers out there.....If you wanna snuggle up with you vicious little Gobbie-Girl, we're adding GOBLIN LOVE just for you! Goblin love features all the romantic goblin love songs including "This Ear's for You," "You Burn Me up" and the lovely "Dogslicer of Love."

Yes, that's right, You get all these Goblin classics for just 5 Silver! Yes, just 5 Silver. You just won't find a more complete collection of Goblin hits ANYWHERE else. And who could forget "Boil the Meat and Drink the Blood" along with "Dogs in the Woodpile, Horses in the Stall" and the enduring melody of "Love Me, Eat You."

So act now before this collection of Goblin Goodies is Gone for Good!

You had me at "With Screams".

Dark Archive

Thanks all!

These comments made my day while being jetlagged at work. Yes arrived back from my trip to Japan yesterday and am already working ;)

When I showed this thread to my wife she was hyped to do more songs, maybe we should :)

Liberty's Edge

One of my players offers this nugget, sort of a "Let's Twist Again" to the Goblin's "Do the Twist."

Vence shoots goblins in the head, Vence shoots goblins 'til they're dead.
Stab the heart and slice the eye, Vence will smirk as goblins die.
Vence gots guts and Vence gots skill, Vence will always aim to kill.
Kick them down and stomp the teeth, goblin blood 'dorns Vence's sheath!
