San Diego, wow; now on my good things list; what a beautiful population of people; just awesome; just a few not so bright teeth (wish I could help them out with some laser treatments); but most everyone looks so good, great bods; wow; and lots to do; great weather; great countryside; good food; great beer and wine locally made. Everyone I met, and I went all over, was just so nice; so polite; full of smiles and so kicked back; awesome.

just got a ticket for IRON MAIDEN in Stockholm :-)
I will do a 4 day Trip from Germany to Sweden with some friends, we will visit the city and as main event the concert.
The swedisch fans have the reputation to make a great atmosphere, really looking foreward to this

Obviously you didn't meet Sebastian out there! ;-)

(I'm glad you had a good time!)

Iron Maiden? Awesome!!!!

1. Finding an apartment that is actually bigger than some houses I've lived in, but a whole lot cheaper. :)
2. Well-behaved child all day today.
3. Watching the Lord of the Rings movies with said child, who was very excited to see them for the first time and even more excited to be allowed to stay up past midnight to see the New Year for the first time.
4. Also, the kidlet has decided that he likes having non-picture books read to him after all, and we have been having lots of fun reading through The Neverending Story this week.
5. I got a new computer and printer for Christmas. Woohoo!!! :)

My personal life may still be confusing and weird, but at least there's a lot of good stuff in there too. Sometimes it's nice to stop and list it all out. :)

A life that seems to be headed back on the path that I have been off of for over two years. ~smiles~ Thanks for all the help you all have given me!

My son Nerrat has finally discovered Star Wars. I kept trying to introduce it to him but finally I just made him sit down and watch. Now, FINALLY, he wants his own lightsaber.

Come over to the dork side my young padawan.

Hopefully, he only knows about the 3 true Star Wars movies. :)

Also, did you make him finish his SuperStar item before letting him watch the movies?

Of course, you realize this means he'll wind up redeeming you later in life. And you certainly need someone to...! ;-D

He finished his wondrous item first. I'm a strict parent.

He's actually watched the prequel trilogy. I'm not sure how I feel about that. He hasn't seen IV yet. If he flinches and rejects those, I could always have another child.

See, that's what you did wrong. If it were me and my kid took an interest in Star Wars, the first movie I'd pop in is Ep. IV. No ifs ands or buts.

Yep. He's the improved version. No doubt about that. I have no intention of chopping off his hand though, no matter how much he resists his true calling.

Yep. I'm a bad parent. Call the Children's Aid Society. I tried to get him to watch Ep. IV first but he begged and whined. I just caved in.

Sure you don't wanna lop of his hand ? ^_^

Got my folding bike back today. After months of being forced to ride the bus everywhere(and that gets expensive, as I have to pay for my wife too), it feels so damn good to be able to get somewhere underneath my own power. It's freezing cold out and the wind has teeth like razors, but I was practically crying with joy on the ride home yesterday. This is my third frame for this type of bike(I tend to ride them into the ground) and it is the most advanced and aesthetically pleasing yet. I'm so glad Fuji bought the company that put out the breezer!

Iron Maiden, Heaven and Hell (=Black Sabbath with Dio), Alice Cooper, Iggy Pop, Slayer, Anthrax

it's like 80's heaven :-)

Jonathon Ross (for those who don't know, an overpaid, obnoxious t*** in the UK) won't be on the BBC after July! :-) F*** YEAH!

Almost as good, Frankie Boyle (another obnoxious t***) won't be on Mock The Week anymore; now it'll be watchable! :-)

Finally, someone at the BBC is showing sense.

I forgot to take my medication this morning. Why is this a good thing? Well, usually, by this time of day, they're wearing off, and I have to go into ROLLINS-mode to keep things together, leading me to become very angry and emotional. I took my drugs about an hour ago, which means that right now, I FEEL FANTASTIC. I have gotten more work done in the past hour than I have in the previous week. F~$!ING AWESOME.

MY WAYFINDER COMMISSIONS ARE DONE AND I LEARNED HOW TO PLAY TWO NEW SONGS AND I FINISHED A SONG OF MY OWN AND I LISTENED TO AN ENTIRE ROLLINS ALBUM.

Sorry, got carried away.

Seriously, though, ever since my now-former roommate put the bug in my ear about adult ADD, and I sought some form of treatment, life has been a lot better to me. Alex Berenyi, wherever you are, thanks, bro.

Getting an email from my Beloved Spouse (Kobold chorus: "We love you!") thanking me and loving on me for getting her real mayo. I got it for her on a solo big box run, didn't say anything and just put it in the fridge.

Sometimes, it's the little surprises that make the day that much better.

Donated 20,000 Hilton points for Haiti relief, I never use them and it works out to 50 bucks for the people down there.

Hope it accomplishes a small bit of good.

Isn't that the city of amazing donuts and plays based on kick-ass fantasy material?

Why yes. Yes it is. Not to mention the home of a somewhat large bookstore.

I can't believe I left that out.

That's $50 that they without question need, Craig. Very cool.
