Aethorduil quickly cuts down one of the gamblers near him, but is disturbed by the sounds of movement behind him. The cultists in the previous room were beginning to make their way into the fray.

Still standing, the three remaining hobgoblins targeted by Emenius's Thunderwave, move to strike at the priest, but only one manages to land a strike.

Emenius takes 10 damage.

Cayde is up to finish out the round. Aethorduil, Emenius, Tekumbray, and Baheera (readied action - once Emenius has moved, assuming he moves) can post their actions.

Emenius gets out of harm's way and heals a small amount of Cayde's wounds. Tek fires off a shot at one of the hobgoblins, but misses badly. On the other side of the room, Aethorduil swings just as wildly at the remaining gambler while moving to group up with his companions.

Baheera's blast slams into the chest of one of hobgoblins, dropping it to the ground.

Hobgoblins come out of the chamber, charging towards Emenius and Cayde. Cayde cuts one down before it can strike, but a second arrives landing a minor blow on the barbarian. Two hobgoblins reach Emenius, but both miss the well armored priest.

Cayde takes 2 damage.

Looking over her shoulder to see more enemies swarming into the room, Baheera turns to greet the new onslaught of warriors, taking a step forward and bringing her hands up in front of her, eyes roiling with the power of storms as she unleashes another blast of thunder that rolls over her enemies, rattling them to the bone.

Baheera's thunderwave washes over two of the hobgoblins, killing one and badly wounding the other.

The spectral flail floats into the room, closing in on Emenius, but not reaching the priest. Darius strides to the doorway, unleashes a guiding bolt at Baheera, and ducks back behind the doorway. The radiant bolt, slams hard into the warlock, knocking the wind out of her and outlining her in a faint glowing light.

Baheera takes 19 radiant damage.

Emenius attempts to put the vile priest to sleep, but the spell is ineffective. Aethorduil cuts down the last of the gamblers and waits for the incoming cultists.

Tekumbray springs out from his hidden position and fires, sinking an arrow deep into Darius's leg.

Cultists flood into the chamber from the north, two reaching Baheera and stabbing at the warlock with daggers, flailing away chaoticly and ultimately uselessly.

The remaining hobgoblin desperately hacks at Cayde, in hopes of dropping the fierce warrior but is unable to penetrate the elf's defenses.

Grievously wounded by the bolt of light that sears her flesh, and attacked by swarming cultists with more right on their heels, Baheera takes swift desperate action, touching her fingers to the lamp at her hip and exercising an expression of will as she vanishes in a swirl of roiling cloudlike smoke that gets sucked into the lamp as it falls to the floor.

Aggravated that Darius was not asleep, Emenius limps to the doorway for line of signt. With a wave of his fingers and bark of trigger word, he sends a bolt of fire at that the enemy.

Grabbing his short blade, Tek takes steps a bit to his right. Feints back to his left and then jabs his sword forward in an attempt to catch the enemy in the hamstring.

Cayde hacks at the remaining hobgoblin, but fails to get by the creature's armor. Trying to take advantage of the distraction, Tek tries to stab at the same but also fails to land a meaningful blow.

Emenius lurches to the doorway and hurls a bolt of flame toward Darius, but in his haste to return to cover misses the dread priest.

Finally, Aethorduil comes forward into the doorway and targets Darius with three darts of magical force, each slams home, wounding the priest.

Dagger wielding cultists continue to rush the party, one stabbing at each of Cayde and Aethorduil and three attempting to end Emenius, but none of the cultists seem particularly adept at combat.

The lone remaining hobgoblin stabs at Cayde again, and again misses the barbarian.

Baheera holds up in her lamp, seeking respite from the massive damage she had taken.

Darius falls back deeper into his chambers while directing the spectral flail to strike at and crash heavily into Aethorduil's flank. The sound of a deathly gong fills the room, as Darius points at Aethorduil, seeking the death of the elf.

Aethorduil takes 13 damage from the Spiritual Weapon.

Necrotic damage is just that, damage. No other special rules apply to it. Now there are special circumstances around certain creatures and effects, but those do not apply here.

Cursing as his blade slips along the hobgoblins armor, the gnome slides further to his right as he parries and feints looking for a weakness in the creatures heavy armor.

There. Right there! Mari shouts in his ear. Along the waist, below his right arm. His eyes flick toward the spot and sure enough a buckle had broken. The break created an opening nearly an inch wide right at the creatures waist. Moving quickly, Tek initiates a quick flurry of sweeping attacks to twist the hobgoblin around just a few inches. Then with lightning quickness he jabs his sword deep into the gap.

As the blow lands, ghosts begin to wriggle and roil around the gnome. Their mourning calls fill the air. For a moment Tekumbray freezes with fear, but then realizes they call out for more blood, more souls to join their ranks. Quickly, Tek points toward the priest Darius and the spirits momentarily surround the enemy.

Emenius sees the end is nigh, but he focuses a Thunderwave on three of the cultists to save his companions, since he cannot clear the three around himself.

Following the twin attacks from Darius, Aethorduil falls to the ground.

Death Saves: 0 Successes - 1 Failure

Cayde swings his blade again, but fails to land the blow against the hobgoblin. The swing is enough of a distraction for Tekumbray to slide his shortsword between the joints of the hobgoblin's armor, killing the creature instantly. After the strike, Tek quickly points toward the priest, surrounding Darius with the spirits of the angry dead.

With the cultists flooding in, Emenius desperately unleashes a thunderwave, sending three cultists to their doom.

Cultists continue to attack the remaining party, two at each of Cayde and Tekumbray and three stabbing at Emenius. Cayde manages to avoid the wild daggers swipes, but Tek is cut into heavily and two daggers find their marks in Emenius's back.

Tek takes 7 from a crit. Emenius takes 6 and falls to the ground.

Darius manages to avoid the sting. The priest turns his attention to the imp in front of him, swinging his flail at the little devil while his spectral flail swings at Tek.

Tek quickly ducks, avoiding the spectral weapon, but Darius lands the most meager of blows on the imp.

al'Adhaa takes 1 damage after resistance is taken into account.

Tekumbray looks around worriedly.

It's just you, the big fella, and the imp with a bottle. Mary whispers in his ear. Guess we'll be getting a chance to get together in the after life a bit sooner than later, eh? The ghosts assessment of the situation did nothing for the gnome's dwindling confidence. Bleeding and seemingly surrounded by foes, he quickly catalogues his equipment and comes up with an unfavorable assessment.

"Dammit!" He shouts at the barbarian while stabbing at the nearest cultist. "I'm a rogue not a priest. I haven't got any way to staunch their wounds."

Taking just a moment, the gnome gestures quickly and from where the body of Gorn lays, the priest's voice suddenly emerges. "Next time you should make sure I'm dead brother." The voice of the fallen possessed priest rises from the corpse. "Give me a moment and I'll gut you like the filthy betraying worm you are."

Hoping the deception distracts the enemy long enough for one on them to either kill him or save the others.

Tek, just realized I didn't adjudicate your actions. Who were you stabbing? Darius? If so that's a fair number of AoOs your looking at if it was a cultist, that's a different story.

Seeing Baheera's imp grab the lamp and disappear and all of his other companions either dead or dying, Tekumbray stabs through the heart of one of the cultists and scurries away from the fray. Using the disengage bonus action

Tekumbray's illusion proves enough of a distraction for Darius to cry out in rage and fear, drawing his cultists to him, giving Tek and the invisible al'Adhaa flee for their lives.

Okay where we are at with the cultists with Darius and Tek and al'Adhaa running and able to hide/be invisible, I'm willing to say they get away. Darius and his cultists will not do anything further to save or kill those who remain. Please give me the remaining death saves to either stabilize or die.
