This would be a really cool job. But first, as a Canadian I suspect getting the work visa would be a pain in the ass, and second I don't think you need a fixed-income/foreign exchange trader..
If I ever had enough coin to retire, I would definitely want to work in the gaming industry as my post retirement activity. Cool people and good times.

I'm intrigued to a great extent by this idea.
As is, I don't entirely know what a software developer exactly does, ergo I wouldn't be a viable candidate.Sebastian Bella Sara Charter Superscriber |

Aubrey - you're in accounting? That would explain a lot of why I find myself agreeing with you so often - we're both "sell-outs!" Gears in the capitalist machinery! Keep rocking that white collar.

I thought you didn't like modrons.
Never mind me. I found out 6 months ago that Voltaire was a highly successful venture capitalist, and I never really got over it.Tequila Sunrise |
Sadly my knowledge of software is limited to what I've taught myself about html in the past week with the help of HTML 4 for Dummies.
I've worked in publishing before and would love to do it again, especially for my favorite magazine, have any other openings? Editor? Proofreader? Receptionist? Handyman? Janitor? Errand boy? Resident bum?

Either that or we are both jaded with life and have a similar viewpoint.
Actually, I quite like my job. It's not too hard work and gives me money for gaming. Now, the girlfriend, she is expensive....

NO, what your staff REALLY needs is a upbeat, light-hearted litigator! Because EVERYBODY loves a trial lawyer! Right everybody!
Everybody . . . ?
Anybody . . . ?
hello?

(whispers to Ashenvale:) "We are in luck, for I happen to know that auditor-types can be distracted by large piles of meaningless paperwork with the words 'quality control' stamped all over them in big red letters." *carefully moves forward with three-foot stack of papers and drops them at Aubrey's feet.* "There. That should do it..."

(mumbles under breath and counts on fingers) Hmm, let's see, that was (1) a deliberate (2) misrepresentation of fact, (3) intended to cause another to rely upon it, (4) upon which another relied (5) to his detriment.
(whispers aloud) Why Fang, what a lovely little fraud!
But remember, this PostMonster dude is our REAL obstacle. He's some sort of gaming industry official, so bribery won't work. Gaming industry professionals have no interest in money.

PostMonsters have a CR of 21. PostMonster Generals have a CR of at least 28. This is before incorperating any class levels into their makeup. However, The CR is not the only problem. They also have Advanced Fiendish Paper Golems as their main army.
Editing to fix my stupid spelling mistakes. Villiage Idiot level 12 achieved!

(sharp intake of breath) "classES". I meant "any classES"!
*puts on wizened sage hat*
The PostMonster is a ferocious beast, and has many classes, strange ones that many have not yet heard of! "Public Static Void Main()" and "type cEatPost = class(cMail)!"Beware the PostMonster and his powers!

*whispering a bit more quietly* Hey, Lilith, surely someone must have put a PostMonster in the stat block bank by now...do they have any weaknesses that we can shamelessly exploit?
*whispering*
Alas, the PostMonster is such a rare creature that we've had difficulties discovering its weaknesses! Perhaps we can try attracting its attention with a potential meal?Sharoth |

~giggle, snort, giggle~ yes. ~wispers~ That might do the trick. The question is, does it have epic level abilities?
