Sounds like you need to hire a 1/2 orkin barbarian.

<start shameless plug>

Pick me! Pick me! I'm good at payroll! Promise!

I put in my 2 years to get my ranks in profession: accountant
And I can say I honsetly never have and never will put any ranks into slide of hand or forgery!

*stops bouncing up and down and bows politely*

Thanks to all of those ranks in Bluff!

(sorry, I couldn't resist)

*whispering while skittering belly-down across floor with bewildering speed*

No, Fang, like this! They teach this in law school so we can pass as other types of vermin in a pinch. Just do like I do! Never fear! I gotcha covered, buddy!

*trips on fake antennae and ends up on back, feebly waving legs in air* (whispering desperately) Wait! Wait up! I'm stuck on my back!!!!!! (frantically waves legs and antennae in an attempt to flip over)(mumbles to self) boy, those lawyers sure can move in a hurry when they want to...I hope that PostMonster doesn't have a +5 can of Raid on hand...

Ouch. I'm crushed. I'll keep trying anyway... the idea of a possible employee discount is appealing.

But with much more surrealism, I assure you...

Hrm 2 years breaking LINE OF BUSINESS WEB APPLICATIONS (if this does not describe the Paizo web site, I don't know what does) for microsoft to improve their security and nary a call back. Must have someone specific in mind. :)

Paizo Employee Senior Software Developer

Actually, what with getting ready for Gen Con, then Gen Con, then recovering from Gen Con.... we haven't yet contacted any potential candidates. We'll be looking through the resumes we've received this week.

Oh, sorry, I thought I had ben passed-over. :0
:)

Hopefully this won't go down on my permanent record...

...how often would you have to play DnD with some of the top names in the industry?

That depends on what night you have free. Myself, Vic, Jeremy, and three former WotC employees of some note play every Tuesday at Vic & Lisa's house, where she is DMing us through The Shackled City (and a brutal campaign it is indeed!) Our conference room here at the office is packed full of D&D minis, Dwarven Forge and TacTiles terrain, and a gigantic white board; it's occupied at least four nights a week, if not more, by various other campaigns run by and filled with staffers. In fact, I know of only three staffers who are NOT in regular campaigns here at the office. Many of us run campaigns on the side (I run my home-brew on Friday nights with four non-staffers.) Oh, and Our Man Erik is of course one of the original members of the Ptolus campaign.

So, uhh, yeah. Not required, but certainly helpful.

Liberty's Edge

Alas, I just took a new job 1 week ago.

Oh well. Perhaps someday. I'd rather write adventures than code anyway.

Coding is an Adventure! :D

*trying to make it through the day*

It's just poorly written (sometimes) and the cast of characters leaves a lot to be desired. :P

Really? Considering how poor my adventure proposals are (ask Jeremy) maybe I should try my hand at freelancing coding instead.

...

NAHHHH!!!

*gets ready a whole new batch of bad ideas to pitch to Dungeon*

Oh man! I almost wish I wasn't so mind-bogglingly conservative so the otherwise great state of Washington could abide my dark presence...

*ow* I bumped my toe...

Is this thing still open, or did you find yourself a willing supplicant for the position of FNG?

I don't know if E-references count but...I would stake my whole credibility and rep on Lilith being MORE than you guys could ever need in an employee. She is a harder worker on her little projects then most people are at their jobs. Her knowledge and experience make her an in-dispensible resource of the boards and her indoctrination into the ranks of Paizo Publishing would only serve to make the products produced by Paizo that much better. If the choice was between Lilith and Bill Gates, my recommendation would be Lilith, she is a good person with a passion for the business and a unique knowledge and insight that would only serve to propel Paizo Publishing to the next level of quality. Her skills and knowledge serves to "enbiggen" us all.
