TX, greater Houston - 3.5 any flavor

Gamer Connection

Looking to join or start a group for D20 - I have played since 1e, and would prefer "vanilla" D&D, but I also like Forgotten Realms, Eberron, Midnight, you name it. I'm new to the area & just wanna play. No twinks please.

Rob,

Like you I have been playing for a long time, since before 1st edition came out. I am looking for a game myself. What part of town do you live in? I am in the Memorial and Gessner area.

Let me know if you are still looking to start a campaign or if you have one and need extra players.

Take care,
Joseph

I am moving to the South Houston/Texas City/Galveston area in about 6 weeks, and will be looking for a game. Is anyone looking for a player, or want to start something fresh?

I have oodles of experience, and have been playing 3.5 since it came out. I can also DM.

Let me know if you are intersted at Korranberg@yahoo.com, or respond to these boards. Thanks.

I would love to hit up a campaign if its going to be near the Killeen/Ft. Hood area. if anyone wants to talk linxx77@hotmail.com is where you can find me

I currently have a game going on that needs one player, preferably someone who enjoys roleplaying, as I want to add more of that to the game. Three of the players are newbies, but are holding their own so far, but we only have one good role player in the group.

We will be spinning off another game soon, that one of the players is going to DM, as I really want to play. That game will be in the same world, but evil characters. I think there is room for 2-3 more players in that game.

We play D&D 3.5, with some modified house rules. The game is held either at my place, near Hillcroft and Westheimer, or the DM for the evil campaign hosts occasionally at his place off of Westheimer and Montrose.

We do have some special considerations, but open mindedness is the key here. If you are interested, email me robert@gruver.org and CC grydian3@aol.com with a bit about yourself, gaming history, etc. etc. You can also hit me up on Yahoo IM (robert_gruver_2000) or AOLIM (robsmasher) anytime.

Hey, check the Galveston!! etc!! thread. Were-platypus is apparently moving to that area as well. I just posted some suggestions to him there and don't want to litter the forums by multiple posting. (Ok, so I'm a bit lazy too, but hey...)

I'm looking to put together and additional group in the far north Houston area. The problem with my current group is that we live scattered across the city and cannot meet as often as I'd like.

I live in Spring, so I'd like some folks who also live in the area (The Woodlands or the 1960 area). I am looking to start running some pick up games late September/early October to make sure we can all play well together before I start my campaign.

I will be running fairly standard 3.5 in a home-brew world. Players will start at 1001 XP to give some flexibility in character creation. I want roleplayers, not roll-players.

Thank you for your time.

Hey everyone, I was cleaning out my parents attic, and I came across some D&D figures from the late 70's and early 80's. If anyone is interested, I'm in San Antonio, my email is JYANOF@Satx.rr.com

I'm off of Westheimer near Voss. Its been years since I played last, and would like to get back into playing. Weekday games preferred (as I'm out of town on the weekends). Email me at tradiuz@gmail.com

Is there anyone on the east side of Houston playing, or am I the only one? Of course, I may be moving to the League City area this summer, if I can get a job teaching down that aways...

I wish I had time to DM, but... school schedules for me and my wife (she's a college student and has a lot of night classes) and two growing boys prevent me having that kind of time to commit. But if anyone needs a player, especially in a new group... I'd be interested.

I have also had thoughts of father/son/mother/daughter gaming. My oldest boy is 10 and likes to play, but can't handle anything subtle yet. I was thinking a parent/child game might give the kids some experience and learn from the growed-ups. What do y'all think?

Email is jwomack94@hotmail.com; drop a line sometime.
