If gamers ruled the world:

There would be more than eight decent fantasy movies in the video store.

Cheetos would be part of the food pyramid.

The food pyramid would be an actual pyramid.

You could get McMead and McMutton at the local McDonald's.

The suburbs would be full of cookie-cutter style keeps.

Everyone would be a whole lot smarter.

You mean Cheetos are NOT a major food group?

Next you'll be telling me that Caffeine isn't one too.

Actually, here in Montreal, there's a few restauraunts that have taken that idea and made it work. You walk in and it looks like an old style Inn or Tavern. The waitresses are all dressed as serving wenches and all talk with an accent from the old days. You can order foods (like mutton or boar) and experience a real dungeon style meal. At times there are even people that play medieval music and sing alongs. Some customers (role-players, I suspect) actually come fully-dressed in cloaks and medieval themed outfits.

It's a little wierd at first, but after being there a while, you just get sucked into the fantasy. And the food's not bad either.

Okay, must have name, location and hours of operation. I feel an uncontrollable urge to go to Canada this summer. And I thought the only reason to travel to Canada was hockey season.

Is there anyone on the east side of Houston playing, or am I the only one? Of course, I may be moving to the League City area this summer, if I can get a job teaching down that aways...

I wish I had time to DM, but... school schedules for me and my wife (she's a college student and has a lot of night classes) and two growing boys prevent me having that kind of time to commit. But if anyone needs a player, especially in a new group... I'd be interested.

I have also had thoughts of father/son/mother/daughter gaming. My oldest boy is 10 and likes to play, but can't handle anything subtle yet. I was thinking a parent/child game might give the kids some experience and learn from the growed-ups. What do y'all think?
