Your August American Eagles sale is here!

Another summer month gone—time to stock up for Labor Day gaming with our August classics from American Eagles!

Vampire: The Masquerade was the "gateway drug" of roleplaying for a lot of people. Setting its own path away from the tactical wargames origins of many classic roleplaying games, the Storyteller system embraced by many served as a foundation for many of White Wolf's products. We've beaten back quite a few of the living dead to get these books to you, and you'll be happy to find such classic items as the Storytellers Screen, New Orleans by Night, and Clanbook: Malkavian!

West End Games produced quite the library of Star Wars roleplaying game books, and if you feel a need to head back to a galaxy far, far away, well hop in the nearest transport, because we've got such classics as the Dark Empire Sourcebook, Mission to Lianna, or the solo adventure Jedi's Honor! If your favorite Star Wars character happens to be a bounty hunter, check out Wanted by Cracken--hunt down some of the worst scum in the galaxy, either for profit, or revenge!

Reading about the world of Krynn and its main continent of Ansalon was the first campaign setting material that I read as a child, and the stack of Dragonlance novels and adventures in our warehouse brings back a lot of great memories. Dragons of Spring Dawning has some of my favorite sibling conflict stories, and Flint the King helps cement the Gruff and Stern Dwarf archetype, while Firstborn tells the tale of two splitting factions within the elven nation of Silvanesti. Find out more information about the Kagonesti with Wild Elves, and definitely take a look at Taladas: The Minotaurs! If you like the minotaurs of Taladas, pick up Kaz the Minotaur, the forgotten tale of a most unusual ally of a legendary hero.

Wow, there is a lot of Champions stuff in there. Anyone have experience with that system? Good or bad?

The link for the general August saile, at the end of the blog enty, brings up a blank list for me.

Jam412, I think Champions is a great system, but its level of precision doesn't translate very well into other systems. It's usually pretty tricky to translate a Champons character into, say, DC Heroes or Mutans & Masterminds, and have it work the same way.

So my advice would be to either (a) buy the Champs material, intending to run a Champions game, or else (b) buy it as general inspiration.

I get blank pages for most links for the sale items too. :/

Doing that just brings me to a page with Call of Cthulhu (4 products). Same with Dragonlance novels and adventures.

Lantern Lodge

Ross is currently working on getting that fixified.

Seems to be working now. But wow, West End StarWars and Dragonlance! It's like a time machine brought me back to the 6th grade!

The sale pages should be fixed. If anyone doesn't see a bunch of neat stuff, please let me know.

Let me add my support for Taladas: The Minotaurs. It's a whole bunch of awesomeness in a small book.
