"What sort of hero do you want to play? The answer to this question might be as simple as 'a brave warrior,' or a complicated as 'the child of elven wanderers, raised in a city dominated by humans and devoted to Sarenrae, goddess of the sun.' You can draw your concept from any aspect of your character's identity. Your character can live any life you see fit." – Pathfinder Player Core

Frequently Asked Questions
For additional information, please take a look at the module's package page on the Foundry VTT website, which includes an extended FAQ and a more detailed look at the custom Character Gallery application!
Is there a PDF discount available for this product?
Historically, we have offered discounts for Foundry Virtual Tabletop packages when the modules are one-to-one conversions of existing Paizo works, such as adventure paths. However, as this token pack is an entirely new and stand-alone product, there is no single original publication that we could use as the basis for a PDF discount.
Where and how did the module source its artwork?
This module's artwork comes from a variety of sources, primarily Paizo's Pathfinder Pawns product lines, as well as various other Pathfinder sourcebooks.
To keep things simple, when selecting artwork to include in this module, we attempted to exhaust each of our main sources as thoroughly as possible, so that you wouldn't be left wondering whether a given piece is in the pack or not. As a rule of thumb, if a piece of artwork comes from one of the following books, and it depicts an NPC or humanoid creature, it should be included in this pack:
Type
Source
Number used
Pathfinder Pawns
Player Character Pawn Collection
237
Gamemastery Guide NPC Pawn Collection
108
Lost Omens
Absalom, City of Lost Omens
106
Ancestry Guide
112
Character Guide
86
Grand Bazaar
39
Impossible Lands
163
The Mwangi Expanse
127
Tian Xia World Guide
172
In some cases, such as with the Shoony or Conrasu ancestries, we then supplemented the collection further by seeking out specific pieces from additional sources, which are not represented in the table above. Those books were not exhaustively converted, and usually only one or two pieces were used from each. A list of them can be found on the module’s package page, on the Foundry VTT website.

The tokens look great, and the app to browse them is really well done. You can filter by various tags, and create an actor with the chosen art with a single click.
A fix has been implemented for the ones in the Monster Core pack, you can now click a setting in the core settings to fit the ring to the grid.
The Grid Fit mode is now the default setting in pf2e as of latest system release. So this shouldn't be an issue for any dynamic tokens unless you like the smaller rendered tokens and explicitly set the core option to "standard".
I was just looking through the new browser (LOVE it) and I noticed some tags that have no associated tokens. Are there plans to continue adding tokens to this module? For reference, I had noticed that there are no characters under the Skeleton Ancestry tag (the only Ancestry with no tokens.)

The gallery tool will integrate with most other token packs in the future (and already integrate with the Bestiary one), letting you browse and choose specifically tagged tokens there. AND you can do your own mapping if you're courageous enough to create and edit text file that follow their file structure. So that's future proofing! :3

Anyone else getting broken images for the following characters:
* Alkenstar Shieldmarshall
* Human Burglar Street School
* Jadwigan Human
I wonder where to submit this, as there's only Pathfinder Tokens: Bestiaries on the MetaMorphic support page.
I believe Jadwigan is a known issue (we typoed the d so the filename is, temporarily, jawigan)-- but the others i'm not certain on. Please submit an issue at https://github.com/foundryvtt/foundryvtt-premium-content/issues/

We intend to roll out an update to Token Pack: Bestiaries that will enable this functionality in the near future. We still have a few images to finish tagging for that package. :)
Amazing work! Really loving it so far. As others have noted, there are a few broken image links with no art (although now I can't find which ones they were, but I will update this if/when I come across them again.)
Also, it would be great to be able to also filter by gender (male/female/non-binary/other or something). There's just soo many, and it would be nice to narrow it down a little more for specific character concepts.
$60 isn't cheap, but as always, you get quality with this product. The absolutely stellar FVTT products are the reason why I've been buying Paizo products again.
The Character Gallery app itself is awesome doubly so that it works in D&D, tripply so because you can add your own stuff if you're willing to do some text file editing.
Wishlist:
- Integration with both other token packs.
- A UI to add your own stuff.
- A system where you can add your own stuff that a module update won't break.
It of course totally depends on where you live and what you do, that $60 is a steal compared with if you had to do all this yourself (from the pdfs you already own), with the added bonus of the Gallery app.
I've struggled in the past with sorting and coming up with a taxonomy for character art and tokens with my computer, but no more: Character Gallery is a gamechanger! This solves so many problems and I can't wait to see other modules begin to integrate with it...perhaps some of the previous premium APs?
I've also tried it with Dragonbane, Forbidden Lands, and ICRPG and it works for them too. In both FL and ICRPG, I couldn't make new actors but I could still replace artwork so it isn't a big deal.
The module is absolutely great and the time saved compared to searching through and extracting these images manually from PDFs is well worth the money spend.
Will integration with tokens from other foundry-published APs be added in the future? I'm talking only about the datasheets, it'd give a nice incentive to buy foundry modules for APs to have their art in all worlds
Cool! Will we get something like this for Starfinder? I need more Sci-Fi tokens! It's super hard to find sci-fi tokens. :(
And for those looking for a way to search all their tokens or add tokens on their own, etc. I recommend token variant cache for foundry! HUGE time saver. :)

How did you access the browser? I cannot find out how to launch the actual gallery.
Can't wait to take a look at this tonight. With so many locations filling them has always been a hassle, and this cuts down on prep time by so much. Thank you.
I do agree we need something like this for Starfinder. It's difficult to find sci fi tokens, and making them by hand even with dynamic tokens takes time away from prep work of a campaign.
I see a (!) on your settings tab. Is your Foundry up to date? This module is only verified for v12+. (That button shouldn't need PF2 system, so if that's what not up tod ate, then ignore.)
Also, last time I looked, Token Mold had not been updated for a while, maybe it conflict? Try to run Foundry with only the NPC gallery enabled? And if it works with nothing else enabled, then yeah, Find the Culprit could help to find... the... culprit. xD

After hearing numerous horror stories about v12 destroying the campaigns of early birds, I've not yet transitioned. Waiting until the vast majority of my modules have been updated to match and the rumors of campaigns lost cease crossing my path.
I'll try disabling token mold to see if that does anything.

Yeah this is not compatible with your version of Foundry. It actively requires v12 for features that are not available in v11. If you're not playing PF1 my recommendation is to update to v12. Any modules that are still broken three months later are likely just not going to be updated.
After experiencing how awesome the Bestiaries module is for use with Shadowdark, I got this as well because of its integration with the Bestiaries module. However it turns out this isn't fully compatible with Shadowdark and gives errors... Does anyone know if there's a way to request that feature?
I've found what I think may be a bug and I'm not sure where to report it.
With a fresh install of Foundry v12.331, the Pathfinder Second Edition system v6.4.1, and Pathfinder Tokens: Character Gallery v1.0.3 the character portrait and token art work for Seoni (Level 1) and Seoni (Level 3) gets set to that of Valeros. This only seems to happen to those two actors but I've seen it several times.
Has anyone else seen or reported this? And where do I submit issues with the module?

Sorry, it's the Seoni (Level 3) and Seoni (Level 5) actors that take on the wrong art.
This module is absolutely phenomenal! I used it today with my 5e group, and despite being in a different system, it still worked flawlessly, and let me make up NPC's on the fly. I really hope that the product was a smashing success, and that more gallery art will be added in future releases!
