It would help in future if the space between the check box and the spell following it were removed, and if there was more space to the left of the check boxes. Kyra, for example, kind of looks like she has 4 castings of bless.

(askii aproximation, doesn't really do the best job.)
[] Bless,[][][][] Heal,[] Sanctuary

would be easier to read as:
[]Bless, [][][][]Heal, []Sanctuary

The pregens seem to be missing their class DCs.

I do like that they moved their HP/AC/Defenses to the mid top of the sheet.

On discord, there was some talk about some things we found. Nothing big really. All usernames are based on the Discord ones.

Enfeeble in the Feiya pregen has the attack trait. That was removed from the Day 1 errata.
Harsk: Dwarven Weapon Familiarity ends with a comma.
pre-Remaster had the same error
Sling is lacking the Propulsive trait on the weapon's traits and in the traits section for Kyra

Also, from me: I see that Ezren doesn't have any mention of the special way he can use Drain Bonded Item becasue of school of Universal theory, but yeah, at lvl 1 it affect nothing, so not including it makes it one things less to grok for new players. But make sure to have it for higher level versions!

Overall, this definitely looks like the most solid set of pregens we have gotten yet. Congrats!

It looks like Feiya should have the Pet feat, based on the wording for Familiars on page 212, but she doesn't have it.

Additionally, Daji is marked as small, but was previously tiny; not sure if this one is a change or error.

Hey, one of those guys is me!

And I got a few more errors I noted on Discord, and will reproduce here.

Bless gained the Aura trait due to the Day 1 Errata, so it needs to be added to Kyra's Bless spell.
Figment gained the Subtle trait due to the Day 1 Errata, so that needs to be added to Lem's Figment spell.
The issue with Kyra's Sling lacking the Propulsive trait is present in Lini's Sling, as well. So add Propulsive both to the weapon's traits, and add Propulsive's text in the Equipment trait section.
Droogami is missing the MAP-adjusted modifiers to their claws and jaws Strikes.
Droogami's senses are listed twice, once in Senses on the top left, and also under Support Benefit and Abilities on the middle-right.
And Merisiel probably needs something akin to Lem's and Harsk's note for her "Forlorn" ability under Defenses, noting she has a bonus against emotion effects.

And that's everything I could note to change for these pre-gens! Overall, not bad!

Assurance description is missing fortune trait (if unchanged in remaster) in multiple character

In addition to the issues noted above:

- Ezren speaks Undercommon, which no longer exists

- Ezren's wayfinder will fail when activated (due to illegal targeting), like all remastered wayfinders. This is more of a "please fix with errata" than a pregen issue

- Ezren has a wayfinder, but has no way to access it

- text of prestidigitation has typos on Lem's sheet

- Feiya speaks Aklo, but has no way to access this uncommon language

- evil eye is listed as a focus spell in the spell section, but it is a cantrip (admittedly, the rules about "focus cantrips" are somewhat contradictory)

In the Remaster, spellcasting class features that used to be called [Magical Tradition Name] Spellcasting in the CRB have been renamed to [Class Name] Spellcasting in Player Core.

The following spellcaster pregens still use the old names from the CRB:

- Ezren's Arcane Spellcasting should be Wizard Spellcasting.
- Kyra's Divine Spellcasting should be Cleric Spellcasting.
- Lem's Occult Spellcasting should be Bard Spellcasting.
- Lini's Primal Spellcasting should be Druid Spellcasting.

What do you mean here? Wayfinder is in the list of worn items even. Otherwise if it's about rarity these are characters, not player characters, and can have any items and level- and class-appropriate feats and spells given to them.

The same problem with Courageous anthem for Lem: on the first page it even looks like you need to spend focus point on it.

Would it be possible to host these on downloads.paizo.com so we don't have to go through the checkout process?

One click for the PDF sure would be nice, especially for new players.

Envoy's Alliance

Oh wow, d4 staff hand of the apprentice damage instead of two-hand d8 staff HotA damage

Here's hoping that we'll see the rest of the icons like Champion and Bard soon.

Bard is in this package. Champion won't be out until after Player Core 2 is released.

Until such time as the higher level characters are available, can we...

A. Use the CRB/APG versions?

B. Generate the higher level versions of Remaster Iconics using approved tools like Hero Lab Online?

C. Can we still just use the older versions and use the conversion guides for at-the-table updating?

Also, at what point can we no longer use the older pregens? I'm presuming if they are for a class in Core Rulebook or Advanced Players that had NOT been Remastered, we would use the older characters with modifications based on the conversion guide.

Thanks!

Will the higher level pregens be ready in time for GenCon this year (2024)?

Yes.

Is there a 2e pregen for Yoon available, if not when do you expect it to be released? I've tried searching and can't find one anywhere.

There is not at this time.

This package has been uploaded with level 3 and 5 versions of the Player Core classes, as well as some fixes to the level 1s! Thank you all for pointing out issues, please continue to do so in this thread.

What follows below is partly tongue in cheek. I appreciate all the hard work in making these.

Harsk upgrades to an Arbalest at level 3! And puts the striking rune on his axe at level 5! Finally, Harsk has escaped the legacy of his awful 1e pregens*.

Kyra still forgot her deity grants Fireball. Yes, I know you don't want new players to think all clerics know fireball. I don't care. A cleric of Sarenrae not preparing fireball is breaking the unwritten fifth anathema.

*Disclaimer: My knowledge of the quality of Harsk's pregens in first edition comes entirely from a running gag in my PFS group. I'm an OGL refugee, so I have no firsthand experience. The +1 Striking Heavy Crossbow his old 5th level pregen had was terrible, though. So glad you ditched it.

Edit: I do have one serious complaint. Lem not having soothe as a signature spell and Lini only having 1 1st level heal prepared at 5th level will catch a lot of players off guard thinking they picked a healer. I strongly believe this needs to be changed.

Am I the only one having a problem getting the new file? I keep downloading the 14mb file with only level 1's in it. Am I doing something wrong?

I never thought about it before, but I love the Pawns of the actions.

Giving new players action tokens, so they can have a tactile aspect to using their actions each turn, is great!

While working on adding these new hotnesses to Foundry (thank you for getting these for us, Alex!), I noticed a few issues.

Ezren level 5:

  • Ezren appears to have lost his Wayfinder (OH NOES!)
  • Hand of the Apprentice has the wrong damage. Since his Staff of Fire has a striking rune, it should be either 2d4+4 or 2d8+4 for the damage in the ranged attack.

Lini level 5:

  • The ancestry feats are showing as animal elocutionist and first world magic on the first page. The level 1 and 3 versions show gnome obsession, as does the full description of the feats and abilities; based on the description information, the ancestry feats should be gnome obsession and first world magic.
  • Lini is not trained in crafting, but she has a repair toolkit, which seems awkward.

If there's any possibility of getting a clarification ruling on these for PFS, that would be awesome.

Pathfinder Lost Omens, Rulebook Subscriber

Valeros level 5 appears to be missing a skill increase (the non-remaster pregens gave him expert crafting, which is absent here).

Is there a printer friendly version of these? By which I mean without the character portraits.
