A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for 9th- through 12th-level characters.

The scrollmaster Effeflinn Whyst is never seen outside the libraries of the Pathfinder Society’s Grand Lodge. She speaks only in ancient songs and rhymes, and some claim that she has memorized every book in the archives. Kreighton Shaine, the enigmatic Master of Scrolls, avoids her at all costs. The two elves clearly share some history, but no one has ever learned their story.

When Effeflinn suddenly rushes through a portal in the Grand Lodge, and Kreighton goes in after her, the Society organizes an expedition into the mysterious and deadly caverns on the other side of the portal. Where have the scrollmasters gone? What secrets have they kept, and why? The Society is going to need its best agents to face the dangers and solve the mysteries in the Cavern of the Sundered Song.

    Kate does it again!

    5/5

Another great adventure. Interesting plot, excellent encounters, good mix of skill and combat challenges, and many paths to success. Well done!

    Solid Scenario

    4/5

    Good combat.
    Solid skill requirements.
    Fun.
    What more do you need?

    Warning - it's really long, 6.5 to 7 hours.

Runs a bit long but worth it

    5/5

Good balance of RP and combat.
    Fun minigame.
    Interesting branching story.
    Satisfying final battle.
Only problem is having a lvl12 character to play. :)

    Worthy of Tier 9-12

    5/5

This scenario offers formidable combat, ample roleplay, vivid NPCs, and engaging skill challenges. It's really well-balanced for those who like the crunch, and those who like the fluff. That is no mean feat!

I want to echo what schattenstern said. Multiple paths to success against moderate / easy encounters give the scenario more space for memorable roleplay, meaningful combat, and even a fun minigame!

    4/5

I must compliment the great use of skippable encounters in this adventure:
You can either do intelligent/creative solutions (and skillchekcks) or fight and the skill challenges were all fair to do. This was a pleasant surprise to me.

    Yes, of course!

Can I ask will PF2e adventures cap out at Level 12 for the ordinary run of play as they did in PF1e?

What does "Glyph" scenario tag mean?

It means that GMing this scenario counts toward the number of "special or glyph" scenarios needed to complete your 5 Glyph requirements.

Totally optional to try for 5 glyphs and has very little effect other than social status.
