A Pathfinder Society Scenario designed for levels 1-2.
A Pathfinder Society initiate goes missing on their Confirmation mission to become a fully-fledged field agent. With no update on the initiate’s whereabouts, the Society assembles a group of initiates into a rare group Confirmation in order to spearhead a rescue. It’s up to a new generation of heroes to save one of their own, and potentially make a few big discoveries along the way!

First of all, I must say that I don't agree with the reviewer below me. None of the enemies are scripted to start next to the players and all of the traps have Perception DCs. I think Kurald Galain's experience won't be the experience most people will have.
Other than that, it's a nice scenario. Nothing mind-blowing, but there's a nice variety of enemies, and the NPCs are fun to interact with.
No real complaints, other than that the adventure feels rather mediocre. Nothing wrong with that, just that in the end, it's not very memorable.
For an introductory adventure, this has serious issues with lethality, and with how suddenly it springs this lethality on the players before they can do anything. It's like those old adventure games, where every room has surprises that kill you; but at least in adventure games you can reload.
I was a player and haven't read the adventure, so it's possible that this was a case of the GM dropping the ball. Big time.
One encounter has enemies that cannot be spotted (no roll allowed for that) and appear right next to the front character. If they win initiative, you'll be down before you can act. Another has an invisible trap (again, no roll to notice it) that will likely drop you before you can respond. In both cases, an unlucky crit may kill you before your first turn.
I'm sure this is par for the course for experienced players and higher-level scenarios, but as an intro this is a serious letdown, and likely to chase away new players with "ha-ha, you're dead and you couldn't even do anything".
The chronicle references an addition reward for completing the adventure but it is not listed on the Boon page. Where do we find the details/stats for it?
A question about the monsters in the final combat:
GM eyes only:
The Ancient Summoning Rune says following:
"The trap summons one of the creatures previously encountered from area B with the weak adjustment."
Since the base monsters have different CLs, is the summoning list:
weak ghoul/weak weak living boulder/weak sun-scorched shadow drake (CL 0) OR
ghoul/weak living boulder/sun-scorched shadow drake (CL 1)?
I got this as part of my subscription, looks like a cool module! But trying to find it myself on the Paizo website? Impossible. I think this is not categorized correctly.
I asked this in the GM thread as well, but is there supposed to be a section on bribing people with gold for information? The scenario hints at gold being used to loosen tongues, but there's no explicit (or implicit, even) rules for it.
Also, I agree with stese, finding this on the website is horrible.
