I remember a Paizo representative saying that Pathfinder sets would always have a few Huge miniatures in them going forward. But...this might have been in a dream.
I'm even more confident that Patrick O'Hagan, of WizKids, made this claim for the D&D Icons of the Realms line. Obviously that doesn't guarantee the Pathfinder Battles sets will have them. I certainly hope so. I have zero interest in another decade without Pathfinder Huge miniatures.

I hope the preview will still be relevant after Wizkids revealed 30 of the 47 miniatures in the set.
A good way to do that would be to confirm if there are any huge minis (beyond the large white dragon on a huge base for stability reasons) in the set, because there isn't any huge mini shown in the previews, only small, medium and large ones.Thank you for your stellar communications, Aaron.

I'll leave relevance to Mark, the blog author. As Marketing Manager I'm always happy with simple repetition even if new info is not released. Although new is best. Not every consumer is a diligent as you are and I'm happy to get the attention of new eyes at any time.
And thanks.

I'm also hoping for some definitive answers on the next wave of premium figures. We know the six that have been announced, but without renders we have no way of knowing which versions (from the Deep Cuts line) they are.
They've been on pre-sale from online shops for well over a month now, so it sure would be great to finally get some official visuals.

So no preview blog yet? Concerned about this now as it’s accusing some dissasfactiion or frustration on other forums. Real shame to loose the momentum on this set and the line.
I am one of the dissatisfied people.
I compared the official listings on ICV2 for june's D&D set ("Snowbound") which says huge boosters and this set which says standard boosters.
That points to no huge minis being in the set, which would be real bad for sales (same price of $19.99 for both sets), if true and a real shame for collectors.
I hope i am wrong, though.
Without any word from Paizo or Wizkids i don't know enough to pre-order yet and may just cherry-pick from online stores.
PS: I really liked Pathfinder Battles Darklands Rising and ordered a case as soon as huge minis were confirmed.

Hello. We needed more time for the preview blogs. Rather than start a series and leave a gap we'd rather start the series later and do more minis in fewer blogs. That will also give WizKids time to get us quality promo images of the entire set. Because staff vacations are also involved, the blogs are now scheduled to start May 24. Thank you for your interest and patience.

Sorry Aaron, this is by no means personal, but i have no stomach for these explanations.
If Paizo can't handle the previews, Wizkids should handle them, they are able to.
This isn't the first time that the minis blogs are delayed, in fact it happens time and time again, it sadly has become the norm.
I and other people have communicated often enough that we don't need some nice little stories about the creatures in the set, but a simple list of what creatures are in the set first and foremost to make a decicision about preordering a case or not.
Pictures of the minis are nice, renders are okay too, but the list with NAME, SIZE & RARITY is really all that is needed.
I remember that Jeff Alvarez (great guy) was going above and beyond the call of duty when the same delays happened with the last minis set and just posted the names of the minis in a spoiler, which made me order a case.
Is that at least possible?
Thank you for communicating these bad news though, i appreciate that.

Could use a set list. Don't really even need that for someone to answer if there are Huges in this set.
1- If there isn't huges why has the price increase carried over when that was the justification given for the price jump. Will it be decreased for sets that don't include huges?
2- If there are huges, GREAT! LOVE THEM!

The base of the white dragon looks huge and the Marid? looks like it needs a huge booster package to fit comfortably.
So I‘m betting one „I told you so“ there are huge minis in this set.
The Adult White Dragon is DEFINITELY on a huge base, but it is a 'Large' monster. Wizkids have changed the way they base Large Mini's in awkward/flying poses, for stability they will put them on Huge bases.
I do believe we will be getting huges, but none have been previewed by Wizkids and still waiting for Paizo's blog, eagerly waiting.
I am just confounded that a simple 'yes there are huges' hasn't been thrown out there when we have been asking since the case first got listed for pre sales, and Wizkids wording on their press info is the wording of standard booster cases, not the huge cases.
Quoting someone else:
The icv2 article says "standard boosters":

Compare this to the article for "D&D Snowbound" (coming in june) which says "huge boosters":

Oh dear,
Now I remember commenting on this in the past:Enlarging the base for balance is depressingly lazy.
Pigraven |
They could have very easily renamed it Old White Dragon. Very lazy. Like the medium-sized cyclops on a large base, or the gnome on a medium base.
Further, no explanation for the price jump on this set.
To be fair, there is no Old White Dragon in Pathfinder 2e, and WizKids/Paizo are clearly trying to stick with Pathfinder 2e creatures with officially released stats for their miniatures. Calling something an Old White Dragon would only provide more confusion.
The Gnome on a medium base was a factory error. I can't speak to the Medium-Sized Cyclops (as I don't remember it), but if the sizing was off, I'm sure that was another WizKids error.
But you're right about the price jump. If Marco is indeed correct about there being no Huge-sized miniatures within this set (besides the Large White Dragon on a Huge base), it means there is no reason for the price increase. Or at least not of the magnitude of the currently listed MSRP.
Clearly, Paizo is going to do what they want when it comes to the release schedule of their previews. I'd argue it's too little, too late, given that we've already seen well over half the set from other sources. And it does seem a bit odd to wait things out, now, given that the miniatures that have already been revealed have generated mostly positive reactions within the miniature community. In my humble opinion, after the catastrophe that was Darklands Rising miniature breakage, the line can use all the positive news and publicity it can get.

It's very likely that the "D&D Icons of the Realms: Snowbound" set planned for june won't be able to hold it's release date.
There are great delays in worldwide shipping and in addition Wizkids is moving it's main warehouse.
That means that there could be delays for "Bestiary Unleashed" as well.
It's also possible that "Bestiary Unleashed" will keep it's july 28th street date of even that it is coming out earlier.

gnome on a medium base (factory error) isn’t as much of a problem as anything else with a larger base:
at least small and medium bases both take up only one 5ft square on the battle map.anything medium or larger and we need to shuffle minis around, have them partially rest on others bases etc.
With 3D CAD models it should be trivial to design a miniature that is balanced on the properly sized base.

5pm PST, 24th of May. Still hitting F5 on the front page in hopes of an update.
Hoping that when the update posts it will verify if we are getting Huges like we suspect and if we got a set list that would be epic.

Would it be benefical from now one to just go directly to Wizkid's site for up to date information?
Kor - OrcScrollkeeper does a good job of consolidating all available information:

While we wait....yet again....here are some links to the Pathfinder Premium Figures - Wave 2.
These six figures are tentatively scheduled for a June release. They're also available for pre-order on many of the usual online hobby shops. $6.47 per mini is the cheapest I've seen them, although I believe those still with their Battles Subscriptions might be able to get them for $5.59 or $5.60 each.
It appears they listened to our feedback for more gender representation and skin tone variances. I personally really appreciate this and have ordered accordingly.
