I just bought this and looking through it, level 17 defense is missing the electric. Looks good otherwise from my quick look through.

There's a missing line break. The electric defense is there, but hidden in the earth defense entry.

I had a disagreement with a friend over what the exact wording on composite blasts mean so I have a clarifying question: Are they intended to do drastically more damage than regular blasts?

E.g.: Which of the two cases is right for a 6th level kineticist casting Blizzard Blast

Case 1: it deals 3d6 bludgeoning/cold damage + spell mod

Case 2: it deals 3d6 bludgeoning + 3d6 cold + spell mod

Composite blasts state that they are generally more powerful than normal blasts, but the intent isn't 100% clear whether that is purely through the utility they offer (as seems the most obvious case to me) or through increased damage as well.

Good question! It should be 3d6 of damage. As of writing I thought mixed damage types would be ok just like they function in PF1 and Starfinder, but PF2 doesn't accommodate for that.

If I could do it again it'd be 1d6 cold damage, plus 2d6 bludgeoning damage and an additional 1d6 bludgeoning damage per spell level when heightened.

Maybe I can do an update to this book soon.

Hm. Just noticed: Spark of Life (page 24) gives increased level of the conjured elemental as you heighten the spell, but every entry except the first one says "heightened 4". I suspect the first one should be 4 and the rest 5,6,7,8,9,10. Am I right?
