Racial items.

I have to ask about the racial items in the Advanced Player's guide. Are they STICKLY for those races only ever.. or just starting out. i know the spells/magic items are but I've had a few questions about some of the mundane/alchemical items.

In addition to my own curiosity about the issue as my Tiefling Wizard is a tattoo artist who would love a few 'fire ink' tattoos of her own. :D

Racial equipment and magic items can be purchased and used by any race as long as the specific item permits it (for example, only halflings can purchase and use solidsmoke pipeweed).

Feel free to tattoo up your tiefling to your heart's content! I know I sure did. With a holy symbol! All shall quail before the light of Iomedae!

I was thinking about doing this with my gnome fire elementalist too, but haven't yet.
