Owen's point holds.
If you make this popular, we could very well see a Dragon Codex in a few years as a "spin off" from the Monster Codex!
The opportunity to write about some of the games weirder dragons sure sounds fun to me, anyway.

It's the "if Legacy of Dragons sell well" part that bother me, but Paizo has been honest in this thread that a dragons related RPG line Hardcover was never really in their planning to do, so the "make us change our minds and motivate us" is a nice call here.

We DO change plans occasionally. And it's a much easier sell for those of us boosting the idea to say "Hey, we did this in a respected, Golarion-appropriate way in just 32 pages, and it sold really well! maybe there's a way to do a bigger book, or AP, or CS, or... "
And, of course, as tight as the word count is, my PLAN as developer is to produce something really cool in keeping with the PC line.

Yeah I know, and most of us are grateful for it.

I was just in the process of creating my dragon themed character - now I have to wait til July :-)
Ahh well; I'll consider it an early birthday present when it comes out.
Can I request variant dragon disciples? Maybe imperial dragon and/or linnorm disciples?
Please don't put anything dragon-slaying in there ; we had a whole PC for that! This should all be about dragon love!!

From what I remember, the developer Amanda said that is the case over on its page.

I don't think Paizo has much of an intention of including any non-humanoid races, though, based on what's been said. Given the number of things that presume players are playing a normal humanoid-shaped (if not Humanoid) race, if anything, I would expect to find it in a relevant hardcover, rather than a player's companion, with a lot of support for magic items, equipment, and other such things that would support nonhumanoid characters, as well as various rules for things like somatic components and other such. I also kind of suspect they wouldn't be dragons, given the attempts to make dragons generally more above mortal affairs Paizo's been working on.
Anyways, in general, I presume the legacy of dragons mentioned in this is the legacy dragons leave to non-dragons, not, well, the legacy of dragons being more dragons.

QuidEst |

Because a decent non-humanoid race is something that hasn't happened yet, and books like this would be perfect for filling that niche?
If you want non-humanoid on a technicality, there's Outsider (Native). If you want races without arms, that's going to be third party. The game isn't really built to support that well on PCs. If all you want is to play a quadruped, Kitsunes can spend their life in fox form at +3 BAB.

Kobolds and wyvarans are not what I am looking for in a dragon blooded race but this book is not getting any such races so the conversation is moot.
I would like to see what we will be getting as opposed to what we are not getting. This a new type of player companion book so don't really know what to expect.

No, this isn't a "Blood of" book, and we're not presenting a new draconic race. This book is much more about how dragons their their powers influence things we've already mentioned as in Golarion.
See... Kobolds (and Wyvarans) are things they've already mentioned as in Golarion.
One tiny little 'quadruped' option and you've got a "non-humanoid" draconic race... or two. :]

A time dragon bloodline would be nice.
For those asking for alternate dragon bloodlines, remember that there was a trait in "People of the Stars" called Outer Dragon Blood that opened up Lunar, Solar, Time, Void and Vortex Draconic Bloodlines for sorcerers.
It would be great if they were available without spending a trait on them. And it certainly would be nice if they were available as Bloodrager bloodlines as well.

And those Dragon Bloodlines grant the Standard Fire/Lightning/Cold/Acid Cones/Lines.

They are tweaked a bit. For example, Time lets you do a cone of electricity.

Will there be alternate racial traits like Feyborn or Shadowborn? character options (feats, archetypes, spells, etc) to gain draconic characteristics of takingg the shape of dragons? Infos on Hermea?

I agree. I loved what they did in that book, it added a few more options to the different draconic blood types for characters.

I played a Draconic Bloodrager once who always slept on a chest containing all the party's coins and gems :3

This is an excellent idea for an draconic oracle curse. Maybe the character should feel compelled to always make sure he always has an amount of gold at least equal to the value of what he's wearing :)
Another possibility would be some sort of 'hording' drawback trait, so that this would be available to all players and not just oracles.

Here's some things that I would be interested in:
A Draconic Pupil archetype for either the Wizard, Occultist, or the Arcanist, basically someone that studied magic at the foot of a dragon.
More options for having dragons as cohorts. Maybe something to allow drakes to be mounts?
A Dragon-Style fighter, brawler, magus, monk, swashbuckler, cavalier or samurai. Some martial love, not for slaying dragons, but for emulating their fighting spirit.
Additional options for sorcerers with dragon as their bloodline. There have been a number of additional dragons introduced, maybe some options for Imperial or Esoteric dragon blood?
I like the Dragon Oracle idea. Maybe also a Dragon spirit for the Shaman, and a Dragon spirit for the Medium??
Those are somethings that could be cool.

Am I the only one more excited about the possibilities of a product subline than the potential content of the dragon book? I suspect like most offerings, it will have things I like and things I don't, but you can't please everyone and that's Ok.
Seriously though, "Legacy of Undead" ? I miss the early days when the Whispering Tyrant had more to do in the world. So many possibilities here, from the Necropolis of Osirion to diseases cures and prevention to other wonderful things beyond my creative comprehension...

Ooh, neat. Traditionally Dragons and Undead are the two most common 'legacy' races, along with Outsiders (which has already gotten some love with Blood of Fiends and Blood of Angels).
For Aberrations, Legacy of the Outer Dark?
