From the NPC Codex, Wu Shen is a murderous human female, and very evil. She's very much a style killer liking to kill with superfluous limitations,
Full rules can be found here in the CR18 (level 19) entry

So we have Merisiel, Olenjack (Dwarf...ugh), Wu Shen. Man I hope the last one is a male rogue of some type. I'm really getting tired of all the cool rogues being female. Options Paizo, options. I've been playing Merisiel and I love her. But can we get a male human, elf, or halfling assassin type of rogue?

Your right and the worst looking of them all. Vink, Tadros, Mollarn etc...would've all been much much better. I'm extremely particular on character looks and Lesath looks terrible. I can't believe Paizo picked this character. Again the coolest looking is still the ladies. I guess I'm stuck playing one of them.

Their primary purposes is to be used in Organized Play.
In Organized Play, you'll construct a deck using one of the characters in the Rogue Class Deck (or whatever deck you want) and the cards with the Basic trait in the Rogue Class Deck. You'll bring that character and character deck to an Organized Play session where someone will have the Skull & Shackles base set box.
You and others will play an Organized Play scenario (different from the Skull and Shackles scenario). You'll acquire cards while play that are from the Skull and Shackles box. After the scenario ends, you'll swap the cards from Skull and Shackles box with cards in you Rogue Class Deck box. So if you acquired a Adventure Deck 1 weapon while playing, you'll pick and Adventure Deck 1 weapon from the Rogue Class Deck. Then you'll decide which cards to keep for your character deck. That will be your deck for the next scenario in Organized Play.
That way, your character's cards between scenarios will only be cards from the Class Deck and not from the Base Set.
As a secondary purpose, you can use characters from the Class Deck at home to play in any adventure path. And you can use boons from the Class Deck for your own purposes or adventures too.

So if I mostly play solo play through the adventures are these worth getting? I mean, I enjoy the game and would love to join an organized group, but I just don't have the time to. One of the reasons I got started playing this one was for the ability to play solo.
Is there any advantage to these decks if that's the vast majority of my game play?

At the end of the month, the scenarios will be put up for sale here. You can then play them at home, and report the session online.
Alternatively, if your retailer is really quiet, you could just run the solo there

More character choices *and* a bunch of new boons.

They are in the process of being shipped out to distributors (and from there to local stores).

We'll have them for download at some point on the website, but we're still nailing down a few ducks regarding them!
