Yep. The hardcover shipped all by itself to get out as quickly as possible.
Everything else will be coming separately once it's all ready.
As for an index... I'll have to look into it, although I'm going to admit it's a bit of a low priority right now.

That's pretty much my answer, as well.
Over 100 copies are set to get to Paizo to alleviate the backorders, but I do not have an exact date of when they will arrive.
A mysterious package that required a signature missed me on Fri. I am hoping that that is my copy of Ultimate Psionics! Of course the post office can't find it now so I will have to wait until Monday. :(

Yes, but I soothed myself by going to the store and buying psionics augmented. A brief review and it looks good so far.
Mine is still on backorder; I'm considering switching religions to see if dark sacrifices to unspeakable gods may expedite the printer getting the replacement copies to Paizo for shipping. ;)
It probably doesn't help that I'm amping myself up for this even more by reading the SRD. I won't be able to use the book as a player for months yet, but I still wanna, dammit! :D

If your local game store orders from distribution, you can check its availability there. I know that it is in Alliance Distribution, but I don't know its availability outside of the US.
I am not familiar with backordering or the specific situation here. (I understand some copies were damaged in-transit but not how many were ordered, how the reprinting is going, etc.) So what are the chances that if I put an order in on the first it will be here by August? I am going off to college and would like to have this by then.

Also, I should point out for those waiting to buy who haven't paid yet - I've given Liz the go-ahead to post the damaged ones for sale at non-mint prices. :)
As for Europe - we're working on Amazon, but unfortunately our priority list is: getting all copies shipped to Kickstarter backers, getting all copies shipped to preorder customers, and getting Paizo enough extra copies on hand to stay OFF backorder status. After those are all fixed, then we move on to opening up more markets.

Any time frame for color books backorders? OR should I order a non mint bundle?
About half of the back orders should be covered with the books scheduled to arrive on Monday. I still haven't heard anything about the replacement books for the damaged ones, other than the request for replacement was put in, and additional new books should be arriving either the end of March or the first week of April.

You could ask in rules here too, just mark it "psionics".

Beware though, the FAQ on the dreamscarred press forum as well as some posts out there indicate that not all people bother reading the whole thing and therefore have an incomplete understanding about the rules, which leads to errors then. Like with overchanneling or augmenting powers.
I've used it both on my Galaxy Note (5" phone with 1280x800) and my NotePro 12.2 (2860x1600) and it's just like working with a Paizo PDF. There's a Lite release without the page background too.
Just quickly - just how long can one hold a psionic focus, and are there instances/abilities/spells that can cause one to lose it? The actual description of psionic focus was hard to find - an index would be particularly handy... If I've missed something, i apologise...

Now as for effects that would strip a character of it, I don't really know of one off the top of my head. Generally, I think you keep it till you sleep or expend it.
Another question regarding to cryptics and traps. Are there any rules for that somewhere? I only know of the ranger traps, which are apparently available after an insight.

I always just thought it was through use of the Craft (traps) skill and the rules on pg. 416-424 of the Core book, besides the Ranger traps.
