what a great scenario. one of the most memorable villains in pfs, with some cool fights to boot. this scenario could prolly be run cold, but i think to give it life you should prolly read it over a couple times and make sure you understand the villains motivations and the mechanics for the last battle so that things stay interesting for the players.
This scenario is just fun. The BBEG is memorable, and it all starts off with such a funny premise. There is plenty of role-play, fun combats, and generally stuff to keep your PCs guessing.

BBEG:
Can you get a more horrifying thing than someone who wants to make a flesh golem out of a PC? This is just hilarious. Furthermore the final fight has some good challenges in it and when we ran it our VC's cleric ended up feebleminded, which was hilarious to watch him role-play out
Wow. Can the boss of this thing get any creepier? This is a psychological horror adventure that requires some work on the GM's part, but is excellent when done right. This scenario is richly detailed with lots of plot twists. Watch the horror creep across your players' face as they realize exactly what happened.
This is the perfect example of a scenario that tried for differentness and succeeded. Clever gameplay, settings, foes, and more. A bit overlong in the new Season 4 vein, but has a science-fiction feel toward the end that is worth it. Our crew (weather druid, draconic sorcerer, cleric, fighter, and two barbarians) suffered a bit in the first battle, but thanks to optimal play and genuine teamwork learned from that debacle, we dispatched the BBEG and his minions easily.
Poor party composition might hurt you (a healing cleric is a must have), and failing to sleep will doom you (you'll need all your spells at max availability time and again), so play smart. And more so than most scenarios, this needs a prepared GM.
We had a blast with The Golemworks Incident, and it is definitely one of the best PFS scenarios my son and I have played.
I've been fascinated by the concept of the Golemworks since 2007! I thought they'd remain forever an obscure footnote (like the magesmiths). It's awesome to see this idea explored!
I like this module. It has a unique flavour and feel with some good RP opportunities.
A little bit of pedantry, though. I noticed a typo. On page 16: in section C4 I think the word "allies" should read "alleys". Also the first paragraph on page 19 seems to contain a superfluous sentence fragment, likely an artifact from an earlier draft.
Played this yesterday with a really talented GM. Loved it, we ran out of time so ended up skipping the optional encounter. We played up and I thought the last fight was great and really challenging. The last map is exceptionally cool and well geared to the BBEG.
We nearly had a TPK in this scenario, playing with four players at the low end of the module. As it was two characters (levels four to five witch and wizard) were killed by a spell that is pretty much a death sentence at that level for those types of characters (and it is the first spell out of the gate for the BBEG at the end).
