I really wanted to get to book two and so I pushed into that. I had already run a prelude.
Of course, my guys saved Lord Kalbio at the last moment so that person started his Herosim persona with a bang
Oh, um, i made it LG to match the cleric.
You are taking Palvos? It is in the room description.
Well, the players are ready to storm the Pillar. There is no way they will get is all sneaky like, so I expect it to be a heck of a battle.
Here is the warrant: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1ypp7Ki4OMNLx8oODLHWHcgK-lRUdu4Ge/view?usp= sharing
The thing is, She is imperial blood from and adopted bastard. Her claim is not really that bad. It would not matter if there were not a succession crisis.
I like it because the damn Circle gets caught with it's pants down.
As far as the other, well, the PCs are the heroes. Bad things happen when they are away.
Mine never figure it out, though know it is a woman. I have them two other blonde women to be suspicious of. They ruled one out. The Swan is now more or less guarding the county in their absence.

The way it is written, it sounds like Milon uses all sorts of forms. That is part of the bluff.
Of course my group has just moved from site to site killing anyone who does not run. They did not get Shadowlass and Estrella since they fled when seeing how big the party was.

I added the full council and gave each of them a persona based mission as something that they want out of the players. This gives them more to do, and as my group has 7 in it right now, man, I have to give them more to stop them charging straight though.
I made the whole council into Persona Phases so we can use the system. I have modified the possible missions as well.
What is funny, is that my group immediately charged off on the main encounters, having, of course, split up first. I dropped a player when the assassins came for Abrun. Good thing Abrun is a cleric. It was interesting to say the least.
Here is a link to the Council in Persona Phase Stat Blocks, the Player's Guide to Yanmass (selectively edited), and my house rules for extra Persona Missions.
I have updated this folder:

For the joust I added Westling and Fencing. I had players do rolls for points, skill vs skill. If anyone is interested I can post the table.s
So, I am going to have the grateful people who have returned to Jambis weave spidersilk armor for the group. The idea is they can always have some armor in social settings under their fine clothes.

So in book two, which is what we are on, one of my players is a half-elf. He took a version of disgraced noble and really wants nothing more in life but to study magic. Still, his mother, a Kyonian ambassador has thrust him into intrigue.
Unsure of what to do, he decided to dance with Dame Carrod (one of Titus cronies). I am a "go for it" sort of GM, so I asked him what he wanted to roll, and instead of Diplomacy, he decided to wow her with his arcane knowledge and pegged it. She is a magic user herself, and so I said with that roll she is interested. I tweaked her to be a half-elf as well, and raised her CHA because this could go somewhere. He did not make it back to his room that night. He was late to breakfast day two as well.
Now, he is moving her away from Titus. It is a hoot!
Another character, who is one of the two Tribunes of the party is a brawler and in no way good at the social stuff. He spent the Jubliee working on Sepsimia, while a more adept character worked on Dame Crabbe. I added a Fencing and Wrestling events to the Joust and he won the Wrestling, and gave his laurel to Sepsimia. Now they have cured her, that courting is going on.
One of two of the female characters may well end up with the Barron as well.
I would say yes. The lock is like having shields up in my games. You can't get in or out.

Lord Kalbio lived HOLY [REDACTED]! That's awesome. Yes. I am saying the Lions Blades got him out. Going to have to work him into the story.
Maybe he will really fall in with the Prince
Is the goal she is asked to join?

Thanks. Still on first read through to get feel for the game. Should not skip appdexies.
What are the "Personal Phases" talked about in this book?
I have done this in a game, and the players unlock powers as they progress. I have the items mapped out. Much of what they can do is items that do things other itmes would do, but combined. So about the time they would pick up another item, they discover another power, or some such. And some items are easy to tweak.
I made a staff of healing with extra charges, and the ability to be recharged with 12 hours of direct sunlight (12 hours per charge). Not that big a jump.
They are from sourceforge.
Because I am too laze to look up the link, I Have shared from my dropbox:
Character Sheet
Spell Sheet Creator
Cheers!
Please know these are resource hogs, and macro intensive. However, they do everything! Linda and I have simply clicked on two of the tabs and saved as a PDF to post.
Let me know if you need assistance and we can skype you through it.

I hope so, because my wife is looking at a Horselord Ranger (provided she can play)
Though with Summoners excluded from the classes, that sure sounds like a opening for the APG.

(I'll try to locate my physical sheet tonight and update my selections)
Other Planes of Existence, like Plane of Fire, Plane of Water, Nirvana, Astral Plane, etc. The gods live on the outer planes, so a cleric knowing about them makes sense.
Man, you are new to D&D. That is soooo cool!
Dom in addition to religion, maybe planes?
Got to cut and past things better from the Excel Sheet. I may just stick in Google Docs or Dropbox and post a link to a pdf!
So, my wife has some interest in playing, even though she is not a Rico member. Thoughts?
Leave the group in real life. These are toxic people.
CUDouglas,
Do you mean If I go Druid?
We have to have a Druid or Ranger to make this work. Books one and two are all wandering in the woods!
I am doing a Ranger in the live game we are doing, so I would be happy to do a Druid.
I do not think a party of 4 can support a Bard anyway. A Bard is like for 5+ parties, if you ask me.
I'll go ahead and do the Druid if that is the consensus. I can be flexible.
However, I'd stick with a Wizard.
Having done books 1 and 2, we really need a Ranger or Druid. Since I did a Ranger in my Current KM game, I don't want to do that, but would consider Druid over Bard is that is what the party needs. Never done a Drood before either!
Good with me! I'll get to work. I do have a question though. How will this work exactly? Is there a FAQ to go read up on?

What are the party needs? I am happy to do the Skill/Wizard type of character. Also happy to do a Bard. Never played one of those.

Seeing the same issue, across more than one computer and different browsers. It worked this afternoon
Ah. I have struggled to find that answer in the book itself. Thanks so much that makes sense it is to allow the monster to improve.
In the Bestiary, every time there is an effect with a save you get something like
"Fort Save DC 15. The Save is Con based".
What does that mean? I understand the type of save and the DC. What is the bit about the save being based on a stat?
