I've solved this on Macintosh with NO special software (except Acrobat)

1. Open the PDF
2. Click on the image you want to copy
3. "Right-Click" and select Copy Image
4. Open preview
5. Select "File | new From Clipboard"

This will paste/create the image with Transparent background into the picture.

6. Click the "Show Markup Tool Button"
7. Select "Shapes" and create a white box that completely covers the image (Yes it will cover up the image you just pasted).
8. Select Edit | Paste

You now should have the image against a white background

9. File | Save...

Boom, you have a png file, with background that you can use.

Alternatively, you can open an image with a landscape in Preview and then paste the copied image on to that. Preview WILL handle it.

We are planning to have a blog post at some point in January with a little more information about The Devastation Ark AP... but I haven't written it yet.

So what would you want to know? Do you want to hear some spoilers? Would you like to see some preview art? How can I get you even more excited?

And just to be a bit of a tease, I'll say that there's some REALLY GOOD speculation going on in this thread...

I'd like to have enough info to foreshadow and link it to Dead Suns.

Page 14 - "See page XX".

I don't have my 1st Edition of Werewolf:The Apocalypse (nor Clanbook: Malkavian). Where else should I look?

No. Armor or other methods of protection vs radiation effects found on pg. 403 would not protect against a creature's special attack if said special attack does not create a radiation effect.

If you are somehow immune to radiation entirely, then maybe that bit of flavor text might win you an argument with your GM, but RAW: No you are not protected from a Hesper's mutating touch.

Considering *I AM* the GM :)

Thanks all!

Hesper's Mutating Touch - "A hesper can deliver an enormous dose of radiation with a touch, triggering sudden mutations and pain in living creatures"

If the character has radiation protection, are they still effected by this?

Looks like there is an edit error in the background information just before the summary. At the bottom of the column, it cuts off mid-sentence.

I'm guessing a truly credible version of that book would be at least 600 pages.

Are you willing to pay $60-70 for such a book?

I'm genuinely interested in people's answers, because to tell you the truth I am strongly considering a base monster reference that is significantly larger than Bestiary 1's 320 pages.

So... don't be shy about your opinions, please.

I would - Then again, I bought Ptolus. I'm hoping that FGG will print a Tome of Horrors Complete for PF2.

THAT BEING SAID, I suspect I'm in the minority.

What are your favorite 3rd party rules supplements from the 3.0 and 3.5 eras? What parts of that product were best? What specific rule or mechanic saw the most use in your game (ie, spell, feat, magic item, piece of gear)?

Fantasy Flight Games : Mythic Races

Malhavoc Press: Book(s) of Eldritch Might, Book of Hallowed Might, Arcana Unearthed, Ptolus, and pretty much every other d20 supplement Monte Cook's company did.

First of all, I'm sorry if this is the wrong place to ask but....

Are there non-RPG/ACG events at PaizoCon?

My SO is not into RPGs, but if there is boardgame action at PaizoCon, I could make a case for going (and I can geek out with Starfinder!).

Thanks in Advance!

I also still have mine! Along with a HUGE shelf of WEG sourcebooks.

Don't have the post handy since I'm on my phone, but there should be quest packs and demos running as non-ticket events during the con.

Thank goodness. I hit submit as soon as the button was available and didn't get in.
