I saved session #27 again and it no longer mentions session #26.

he/him

I added the Macro sheet to the header.

Also, I accidentally submitted 2-23 twice. The website crashed when I submitted the first time so I did it again to ensure it worked, but it must have worked both times. I deleted the first submission.

Header is updated. I'll fill out the macro in the morning. Time for some sleep.

Thanks for joining us Nicole. Definitely hop back in when you are ready.

Do you want me to mark your character inactive?

We're at 100 pages in the Gameplay thread. That's over 5000 posts!

If you've only done 4-05, sign up and note it on the sheet. Either you can spend a replay or I'll look for more teammates.

Also Precise Strike is always on, you don't need Panache for the bonus damage.

I have a couple of adventures.

Classes won't get renamed as those are very generic names and no one can claim they invented a Wizard or Fighter.

Oh hey, I'm up next to GM a game.

I'll try to get things ready by Wednesday. I'm on a business trip until then.

Neither 1-07 or 5-05 is part of Paizocon. So if you sign up don't expect to use that character at Paizocon.

They're still working on the conversion. The last update was on Feb 3rd. To support pre and post Remaster stuff, they have to rebuild significant parts of the website. Combine that with end-of-year vacation time and the classic software engineer underestimation issues, and here we are.

The Feb 8 post:

PF2e Remaster Update - Final Stretch

Hi everyone,

It's been nearly a month since our last update (my personal apologies for the delay on that - my primary day job has been very busy) and we wanted to share where things are at so far. At the moment, the main tables are all covered and the remaining data entry tasks for Player Core fall to finishing up a few smaller tables (mostly Rituals and Skills). Once the remaining data entry is complete and we've done a pass to make sure everything works, then we'll release the update to all of you. GM Core will be in a partially done state - outside of the Treasure / Magic Items content, the book is in, but we decided to shelve some of the Treasures for a second release shortly after this one.

As for when this is coming out, I'm afraid we still don't have an exact date. Members of the data entry team have had to do a lot of atypical traveling for work lately (sometimes losing entire weeks) and time to get the text in has been limited. We're hoping to be done with this as soon as is possible.

To all of you who have been waiting patiently, the team and I cannot thank you enough. The changes required to support this Remaster in a way that will keep all players happy has taken a lot of extra work and adjustments, with life outside of AoN throwing extra wrenches the last few months.

I'll end this post with another short FAQ, to answer some of the common questions we've seen lately:

Will the delays in this book offset other releases to come, like Monster Core?

A large part of the delays on this book were because it necessitated changes to the site's code and database structure, a task we will not have to repeat with future books. Additionally, monster stat blocks are a bit more streamlined with custom import applications we have, where-as most of the other areas of the site are a bit more manual.

Can I help / are you guys hiring?

We touched on this in a past update - I don't want to put out that call just yet, but after we're settled with the initial Remaster release, we will indeed be looking at bringing on an additional data entry person to help with our PF2 side.

he/him

If I choose a kineticist, I suggest my +1 potency rune is delayed until level 3. This would line up with the >Gate Attenuator< I would use at level 3.

Free Archetype would free up some room in my build. I'm ambivalent about this rule in general.

Ancestry: Sprite
Heritage: Ardande (descended from Wood Genies)
Ancestry Feat: Corgi Mount
Class: Kineticist (Wood)

Taking the Celebrity Dedication ASAP.

Probably friends with Mother Otis, due to the many opportunities to entertain and gather new fans. Has had a few run ins with the law, and has had to deal with Luo Xi Yang too many times to count. Hate is a strong word, but she doesn't like her.

he/him

Skeleton Warrior? Gotta put up the theme song: >da da da da<

- Plant Sprite Kineticist (Wood)
- Leshy Monk (Stumbling Style)
- Human Aasimar/Nephilim Bard

That should be enough ideas to get me started.

I have an idea about a Sprite Plant Kineticist. If that's too out there I also have a human bard.

As a fair warning, I am playing this AP at another table.

Switching from this forum to **Markdown** for my notes requires a total brain reset.

1-13: Yes please, I will gladly play it
1-09 - 1-23: I've played 1-23 but not 1-09. I've prepped both scenarios and need to GM it some day.
1-19: I've played it before, it's fun.

I'll work on a Aasimar Warpriest of >Shizuru<.

he/him

By the way, >Archives of Nethys< has all of the rules online, just in case you need a quick reference.

You'll still need a proof of purchase for PFS (as Corabee Cori said.)

If you're good with PDFs, keep an eye out for Humble Bundle - sometimes they sell Pathfinder PDF collections.

I have updated the header for the next 3 Bounties/Quests.

I also added the links to the
Macros

Slides

RPG Chronicles

pages from our last scenario. It may be easier for you to copy-paste.

On an idyllic island of the western coast of Garund, you arrive at the iruxi city of Ekkeshikaar. Seeking to establish new trade relations between the lizardfolk of Ekkeshikaar and the people of Vidrian, the Pathfinder Society must navigate a delicate political landscape while thwarting the efforts of nefarious forces who seek to stop the proposed alliance by any means necessary.

This is a follow up to 1-09: The Star-Crossed Voyages, but is not needed to play 1-23.

Sign-up is >HERE<, and we'll get started this weekend (or when the sheet fills.) I hope to see you soon!

I was also confused about Signature Spells for a while and ran into this same situation.

If you want to cast Soothe as a level 2 spell, you have 2 options:
- Memorize Soothe as one of your level 2 spells.
- Set level 1 Soothe as a Signature Spell.

The advantage of the Signature Spell is once you can cast level 3 spells, you can cast Soothe as a level 1, 2, or 3 spell at the cost of memorizing only one spell.

Apologies for the loud intro and 90s cheese, Tony Jay's voice is too strong

These are the tales of the >SKELETON WARRIORS!<

he/him

Dancing Sunbeam finds Tano to be very comfortable and in tune with their surroundings. The children sit patiently to listen to her stories, and her gusts of wind are well appreciated. She doesn't understand the finer workings of their laws but that's fine.

Apoc is always curious, but also oblivious to his actions. Half of the elders think he is an Oni here to destroy the village while the other half think he is a lost soul and should be laid to rest.

Geralt manages to recover the tone and recalls tales of lost wanderers coming to his hometown, unused to local customs, and embarrassing themselves. The elders have a good laugh and hope Apoc figures it out as quickly as Geralt did.

Questions for the town
Apoc 0 successes
Geralt 2 success
Quickblade 0/3
Sunbeam 2 success

That just leaves Quickblade. If you choose to ask fewer than 3 questions, please say when you are done.

Thank you for hosting this game, Dennis.

Sounds like you still want PCs between 8-12 xp, right? In that case I'll start building my sprite ranger today.

he/him

Thank you for the update. I'm still interested but I'll wait until that game completes before making my character.

*sigh* I keep posting in the wrong thread...

he/him

Howdy everyone. I wouldn't mind joining a GM rotation. The only scenario I've played is 2-11. The problem is I don't have anyone in xp range right now.

- I have a 6 xp summoner who is currently playing 2-11.
- I have a 18 xp oracle.
- I have a 23 xp investigator.
- I could spend some playtest points to make a level 2 character at 12 xp. I am thinking of a sprite ranger.

If you want me to join, which character would work best for your rotation?

he/him

My team switched to ranged weapons when they saw the ghouls. They also proceeded to roll nothing below an 18, critting them before they got close. That fight ended very quickly. (I had the ghouls argue over their favorite condiment during their short re-lives.)

But hey, maybe the hag who is 100 feet away on difficult terrain will slow them down?

Sounds like we should find another player/GM. Does anyone have a nominee? If not, I can make a post in the forums.

In the meantime, GM, what do you want to do? We could wait until a 4th PC joins us, or you could fill in with a pregen.

I just finished preparing my Google slides for the special. All of the maps have no spoilers (so traps aren't outlined) and they are part of the slide background (so you can't accidentally move the map with a misclick. Images are either from the PDF or from Articles of Nethys.
