Zadeh moves into the midst of the group and raises his hands to start casting a spell. He stops, sighs, and drops them. Well, I was planning on just teleporting us all back to the Grand Lodge and having Nymeria make us tea and muffins but it looks like the others still need our help to get out.

Drawing on his remaining reserves of magical energy he casts spell after spell. Each time he breathes out a cloud of glowing purple smoke which forms itself into a beautiful, magical horse. Take these, they will speed your escape he says.

Dropping my remaining level 2 spell slots to conjure some phantom steeds for people, they have a 100' fly speed

He turns and dives back into the Black Caverns, swooping through them invisibily. As more and more undead come pouring out and look to savage the junior Pathfinders he starts sealing off the tunnels with walls of stone to leave them trapped down here forever. Perhaps one day he will return, when his reserves are recovered, and send wave after wave of earth elementals through the walls to finish them off.

For today however, containment will suffice.

Summoning an augmented Monadic Deva in the hopes it can slow it down or distract it long enough for Gaetan to kill the thing.

Its protective aura will give veryone witin 20' a +4 defection bonus to AC and resistance bonus to saves against evil creatures if you dont already have one.

Arillia, I think w need you to put out some damage. I dont think my summons can touch this thing, at least the ones I have space to fit into the area. I can teleport some people into a better position. It looks like I can get Gaetan and Arillia or Arillia and Agata. I am inclined to go for the latter. Gaetan should be able to take out multiple shadows if he has more ghost salt arroes left.

If I do teleport a bunch of us I am inclined to take us over to the north end of the bridge. That may make the giant monster come after us instead. As an alternative I could drop greater invis on someone.

Going to pass on that. The Nemhains aren't much of a threat if the big guy is using Wail.

As someone who takes a -3 penalty on saves against death effects and whose soul is damned to Abaddon when he dies I very much support this idea.

On reflection I may have been better off bringing my sorcerer to this!

Defensively casting dimension door, I cannot fail. I can take up to 5 other people with me so that is everyone next to me. I have moved myself onto the cliff above, well away from the river of death. If you want to come with put yourself up on the cliff adjacent to me.

Zadeh will have renewed his extended buffs. I have knocked off the spell slots. Apologies, I misread the map.

My 10min/level buffs we are also exntended except for stoneskin so you still have barkskin Arilia. I will have recast Stoneskin when it ran out. For our three budff rounds I will drop shield and the mirror image wand for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4 images

@Agata, anti incorporeal shell has a 1 round casting time. Zadeh also wears a heightened continual flame but not sure how that will combine with his invisibility.

I appreciate the desire to keep things moving quickly but I would also like the opportunity to actually loom at what is happening before deciding what my actions will be before just getting delay, especially given we arre dealing with the extreme dangerous hard mode encounter.

Zadeh readies an action to defensively cast dimension door to move the two of them 30' away from death if it attacks either of us or casts a spell. My concentration is +30 so I cannot fail the defensive cast check.

I can drop some elementals to try and destroy the stones or try and disrupt the ritual. I dont think any of my spells can touch the thing.

What would happen if I dropped one of the stones into an acid pit?

The last time I ran this one of the PCs hot the entire chamber with an earthquake and we sort of handwaved the whole disupting the ritual thing at that point.

Hmm, thats a weird situation, the elephants were dazed on their turns so when does the daze effect end? Can they act now, having lost their turns?

Zadeh gulp, Err, we may be in over our heads. That is actual death. Tricks wont fool it, being close makes you unlucky, if it kills you you are not coming back...Not sure my summons can touch it...

Quick rules digression. Summons attack my enemies automatically. I would like to have them each trample Death. Trample is a normal attack form for an elephant. I can certainly also make a handle animal check if you want, I am at +21

Just to be clear, I am for staying in champion. I aam happy to fight the super big bad if that is what the rest of the group want to do.

These are from enervation so regular restoration should be fine.

I'm also replaying but can't remember what the extra special hard encounter was (it was so loud at the con I could hardly hear what was going on - one reason I'm glad to be (re)playing this in PbP to actually get the story), but in any case I'm definitely up for it.

Did we get the option of receiving deathward scrolls? If so, I missed that but Agata will also take one if it's available. Though first we need to deal with all these negative levels. She has a couple of scrolls of Restoration, though I need to look up which version they are.

We each got one 750gp item from a mission success.

I dont believe we get a choice, champion tables go off to their side unless they drop down to soldier.

As for the extra special especially hard encounter I will go with the majority on that decision as I know what it involves so I cannot really say anything about it to influence anyones decision either way.

With that he casts a spell and surrounds the three of them with a cage of magic which tries to tear their spells apart!

Does the wall of force block off access to the area to the left of me or not? The line is partially in the square which would block access so I am not certain. Also, can Marcus and/or Tally give me a good enough idea of where she is for dimension door purposes?

But it seems likely that today is not the day for Abaddon to claim him.

Zadeh takes a -3 penalty on death effect saves due to possessing a corrupted bottle containing the herald of one of the four horsemen. If he dies Abaddon claims his soul and it is quite difficult to get it back.
