I plan to be there on the Saturday. First big event I've been to for two and a half years so will want to say Hi to as many Pathfinders as possible!

I am just passing on a message I received from someone who is on the ground and trying to protect himself and his family. I believe that asking for a statement from Paizo and / or the OPF isn't unreasonable or inappropriate.

Various countries and organisations are making statements, imposing sanctions, refusing to engage with Russian teams in sports events, etc. Admittedly such things impact the ordinary Russian people more than Putin but that doesn't make such things meaningless or mean they shouldn't be done. I don't think it is unreasonable to ask about a Paizo response or an Organized Play Foundation response.

I have just received a message from a Ukrainian Venture Officer asking about Paizo 's perspective on the current situation and how so many organizations are making a statement and taking actions.

Great news and a fantastic first step to making Paizo a company to believe in again.

I'd like to point out that while Erik and Jason admitted to mistakes and talked about how they specifically would improve upon those mistakes, Jeff did not. Jeff talked about how he can't talk about anything, and how he believes the company is better now than it was five years ago, and how it will be better in five more years than it is now. And Tonya has been completely silent other than a post where she explained that she moderated out talk of the Civil War and GamerGate.

Where did Tonya post that?

Guess I should get back to playing Kingmaker and try to get beyond the prologue before this arrives!

He’s talking about the precedent of peoples’ Organized Play characters becoming canon through either scenarios or some other form. Kyle Baird wrote Joseph Caubo’s character into The Sealed Gate.

Personally, I know that I wouldn't be any better GMing this due to real life commitments. Also I am highly unlikely to play any other PF2 games so I am happy to wait. However I understand if others don't want to wait.

What about resting between the missions?

Based on the mission briefs I would probably be inclined to do Fola's mission to find the missing Pathfinder first, then the dangerous ritual, then the petrified Naga and finally the Nexian smugglers.

I am happy doing them in that order.

Sorry I am being slow to respond. This is the last day of an education research conference I am attending. I'll be back to reasonably regular internet access tomorrow.

I think my character will be completely new to the pathfinder Society so no pathfinder Lore at all and probably no society skill either.

If it's not stepping on anyone's toes I'll go for a human (Kellid) ranger - a hunter amongst his people with a wanderlust that has drawn him south.

I am planning an archer ranger at the moment.

I see that a few people from Paizo will be travelling to UK Games Expo at the end of the month. There's no mention I can find of any seminars. Last year the Paizo seminars, about the playtest and other topics, were really good, and I'd like to attend any that are on this year.

I don't know about seminars but the Paizo stand will be back and manned by fabulous GMs ready to demo Pathfinder 2nd ed and Starfinder Beginner Box and there will also be a number of Paizo staff happy to talk with you.

PaizoCon UK 2019

All new for 2019 – new venue (Bournville College), new dates (2nd to 4th August) and heralding the new edition of Pathfinder. Still the same player-focused gaming goodness and loads of Pathfinder Society and Starfinder Society and fantastic GMs.
We will be bringing the Year of the Ten to a conclusion with the Pathfinder Society Campaign Finale, continuing with Starfinder’s Year of the Scoured Stars and starting the 2nd edition Pathfinder campaign.
We are opening the Call for GMs today and then player bookings will open shortly after.
