Vitali is a bit surprised at himself and his newly found skill at archery. He stows away his bow and moves to again collect his shortsword and sheath it up before moving through the snow to examine the corpse.

He bows and shoves the chest aside a bit to pick up what's underneath.

Vitali looks into the box and concentrates for a moment as he mumbles a few arcane phrases.

"Yes here you go!" Vitali replies as he hands the Sword over to Hedrick. He then crams a few tools from a pouch and begins to open the jewelry box making sure it is not trapped.

@Hedrick it's a MW Longsword so won't do you much good.

Your a fighter if you don't don the biggest and badest armor you can get why aren't you a ranger or a Barbarian? And what skills? Only Climb and swim would be affected... Also breastplate is a pretty sweet piece of armor...

Despite his new warm clothing Vitali shivers slightly as they make their way towards the forest. There he eyes the ice statue and corpses all about and decides that they will have to search this gruesome sight carefully. He moves closer to the statue and studies it carefully.

Vitali had never wanted to be a Caravan guard. He wanted to be an adventurer, a famed explorer and uncover grand mysteries such as the one unfolding before them now. He'd just left _Opara afew weeks ago so it could wait a few more if need be.

Truth be told I think I'd make a lousy guard Jarrek! I think you will be better served traveling on without me!

Cold Iron weapons usually cost twice as much as their normal equivalent. Vitali would be very interested in aquiring either a cold iron short sword or preferably a rapier.

Vitali returns to the group after a few too many rounds and relays the rumors he'd heard.
To me, or maybe today better for you a good course of... course of action should be speaking to this farmer's son and then to explore the bo... hick border wood... tomorow once I've slept a bit and found myself a cold iron sword... hick

Having eavesdropped on the conversation Vitali decides it wise to see what he can gather about Lady Argentea and any sightings of ice Fae in the village. While it's still a bit early he makes his way to the Inn and decides now is as good a time as any to buy the locals a few drinks to get them talking.

Not quite sure what applies here so I'll roll Knowledge local 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (6) + 7 = 13 Diplomacy 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 to see if I can learn anything about the lady and whether any villagers have seen any ice fey arround recently
