Seeing the creature's malformed hide turn aside her blade, the Jasdian pauses then measures up a stab at where a more vital organ may be housed...
Sorry for the radio silence gang - work had me burned out and since finishing for the holidays I've been decompressing and letting batteries recharge. God Yule when it comes to one and all. Off to give the present of Xmas posts :) @Troy: Ukufa's not the "sharing a beer" type, but she often carried out tasks for the Temple of Wee Jas as they needed. More than likely she's come across you when tempe and academy business intertwined. Likely that rarer components for rituals or Jasdian services could have been something you'd have been asked to prepare (and Ukufa entrusted to collect). Easily that they are known to each other, and have exchanged pleasantries more than once?

Work bug continues to bite folks - have bunch of After Action Review content to prep, ongoing jobs offshore and a technical response to an Non Conformance Report to prepare this week... As such, time and creative energy will be on the low ebb for the foreseeable, so if Ukufa can be botted during this time that would be appreciated.

As Jon works the lock, Ukufa focusses her senses on what lies beyond the portal;
Ukufa claps the broad shoulder of Bhru in a rare show of appreciation; "Glad my mistress did not claim you... Smelled too bad most likely." She nods as Jon demostrates what happened; "Vanished. The drake is downed."
As Bhru goes down, Ukufa frowns... It is not his time. ... then slashes again at the drake with her twin knives;
Ukufa too hears the footsteps as dwur and hobniz charge their host. The Jasdian turns, draws her other blade and heads toward the noise; "I will welcome them."
Ukufa cocks her head for a second, but maintains her cold stare; "The dwur is not here for his hygiene." She looks to Bhru, then back to the woman and her drake; "Final chance. Blood or coin. A debt paid."
Ukufa keeps her blade drawn but lowers it slowly at Kellan's words, before uttering her own in a hushed voice; "Those we felled did not balance the ledger. Blood or wealth, but a toll must be paid."
Ukufa remains stoic, eyes narrowing at the mention of Vanthus. She slowly draws and raises one of her blades to present it before speaking; "This is the blade of a dead man named Penkus. Killed by Vanthus. His will was vengeance upon his murderer." The Jasdian huntress shifts, her voice becoming harder, staring through their red-haired host; "I honour the dead. Vanthus' reckoning is sealed. Tell us where he is or share his fate."
Ukufa hard stare, becomes harder when woman describes them as "flunkies". Her eyes shift to the primordial reptile lurking at their foe's heel as her hands move to the hilts of her blades:

As the others repeatedly strike the rogue, Ukufa stays her hand as she recites a eulogy; "The Stern Lady welcomes you. Go."
Ukufa moves forward as the crush of melee lessens, shifting directly to engage their foes;
