Hopefully everyone and your loved ones can stay safe. Here in the Netherlands, we're trying to weather the peak of the outbreak, but still it feels overwhelming. I'm lucky I am still in good health, but I worry about others close to me as well.

I've still got my job to travel to and public transport feels like taking risks, but I got no choice. I work in a reasonably vital sector so our job has to continue so as to make this as comfortable and easy as possible for other people around us.

Again, watch yourselves and others and I hope you all stay safe and healthy.

Hope you guys get well soon! Take your rest, no need to rush getting up too soon.

Sonas looks on as Filona comes back after her harrowing at Madame Mvashti and watches the next of the group go on in.

"Still you seem to be troubled by a soothsayer explaining what could lie in store for us. Are fortune-tellers not also people with a power similar to that of certain wizards or spellcasters? Perhaps they don't cast spells, that doesn't mean their inner ability to predict what's to come is a lie. It's like trying to read a language you don't understand, parts may make sense to you, other parts or sentences may not, but until someone points out which sentence means what, you won't know the truth of the words."

Sonas picks a coin from his pocket and throws it in the air and deftly catches it again.
"I for one, have always been lucky. It's a rare trait and a rare thing to say about oneself. Though this is true, my luck is able to rub off onto others. I don't know how I got it, I just know it's there."

When it is finally time for Sonas's turn to go on into Madame Mvashti's tent for a harrowing he does so with a smile on his face and excitement glowing off of him.

Sonas's question:

Sonas walks into curtained room and bows to Madame Mvashti.
"I am truly honoured you would read me my fortune Madame! I've been read my fortune before, by Ol' Pietri Csalogan of the Sun Caravan, perhaps you've heard of him?"

Sonas says as he takes a seat opposite of Madame Mvashti.
"To tell you the truth, I'm a bit torn between two questions. One is a personal touch, the other something more for what's been going on now with the goblins and all. It's difficult to choose." Sonas sighs deeply as he wracks his mind for the right decision. After a short moment he nods to himself and speaks up.

"I've decided, I've always been a team player, you should always choose what's best for the family. At this moment, this town is my temporary family. These goblin attacks are strange, not that out of the ordinary, but they're helped by others from outside. Why is that? What do these people have to gain by helping the goblins?"

I'd take the flaming arrows and the normal ones possibly, other than that I'm quite okay with others taking the rest or we sell it. though keeping the alchemist's fire for the possibility of swarms would be good to have.

Thanks for letting us know Perri. Life takes priority in these cases over a game, especially when you're already doing everything you can to help out your wife. Hope everything goes well in the recuperation period for your wife and for you!

Sonas thinks about what Daiki says and frowns.

"Any idea on how to approach that then? The questioning of the Sandpoint residents? I'm not a sleuth or detective, but I'd like to help out though. Perhaps the amdame who wanted to read our fortunes may have some useful insights on how to proceed. Prophecies and fortunes have a ring of truth about them, even if one might not see it at first."

Sonas takes a quiet moment alone as he goes around looking for stuff the goblins had brought with them to Sandpoint.

Perception: 1d20 ⇒ 5

After not able find much except the goblins' weapons and bits of armour, Sonas returns to the others and joins in the conversation.

"A miraculous thing indeed, there are of course many healers around the world, but most of them are the clerics and followers of the gods. I hope one day to be able to channel that divine gift as well. You seem to have another source of power though, as I haven't seen you use any obvious sign or symbol relating to a deity."

Sonas takes another good look around the Junk Beach and asks the group.
"Find any thing useful? Any leads on who helped them?"

Sonas moves closer to the rest and ends his movement in front of Filona.

"It's the paladin's code! Protect the ones that are more easily hurt!"

Sonas calls over his shoulder as he nocks an arrow onto his bow and fires a single shot at goblin 1

Sonas carefully takes a 5-foot step south-west away from the goblin sneak, but still covering an immediate attack on Filona. He then fires an arrow at the goblin sneak in the hopes of taking out an enemy attacking from the rear.

Single shot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 5 = 221d6 ⇒ 4

"Got him again!" Sonas shouts triumphantly, though knowing that it is only a small victory as there are more goblins left.

Though Sonas was still a bit sulky after Filona and Kano's words of trusting others, he somehow knew they were right. That didn't mean he felt like this was always true. He knew he could trust these new friends or companions, at least more than the average new person.

When the group arrived on the Junk Beach and was immediately attacked by goblins, Sonas was as startled as the others. Though seeing his new friends being attacked, his battle readiness kicked in again.

"Hold fast Kano! We will soon take them out!", the halfling called out words of encouragement as he took aim at the goblin sneak trying to get around the sides.

Sonas looks a bit sullen at Kano's harsh words about the native Sandpoint residents, his demeanor shifted as someone told him that no one is to be trusted. In Sonas's mind this couldn't be true and he wracked his brain to find a way out of this.

That's not true, many of the people here are fine folk, only two people of whom the goblin called Longshanks were bad. Wouldn't that mean that smallfolk and children would be safe? And what did that goblin say of the Longshanks? Something about a... a... Shield?

As the group marches off towards the Junk Beach, Sonas tugs at Kano's arm.
"I think you're quite wrong with saying that nobody could be trusted in Sandpoint. Smallfolk such as Filona and I could be trusted, we're not Longshanks. Same goes for children I would assume. There was also something mentioned about two Longshanks, one armed with a big shield, the other with fur and a necklace of elven ears. We know those can't be trusted, doesn't that mean we have to be only really careful around people that fit that description?"

One didn't need to be very observant or a careful listener to hear the hope in Sonas's voice.

Dooh... Sonas knows nothing.....

"Impressive indeed. Though I could not overhear everything you and the goblin spoke of, but he seemed very forthcoming with you. What exactly did you tell him?"

Sonas asks with a curious look in his eyes.

Hoping Filona would elaborate a bit on what she heard. If so.
"Beach of shinies doesn't ring a bell, but I would say it's quite something that two of Sandpoint's residents are helping the goblins attack the town. They are equally responsible for any deaths and wounded people in Sandpoint as the goblins are. Maybe we could find them first?"

Sonas exhales a bit as Verona pulls away again. "No worries there Verona. No harm, no foul."

Sonas stands around Perri and Verona as Filona tries to speak with the captured goblin he had helped capture.

Though not hearing much of the conversation, Sonas is pretty anxious to see how much sway Filona is able to have on a goblin. Perhaps they could still get some information out of him... her.... it... difficult with goblins actually with the untrained eye.

Sonas looks even more flustered as Verona asks him if he's having a fever or if he's sick and approaching him to feel his temperature.
"No... not a fever... faster heart rate yeah,... but that's not because I'm sick..."

When Verona does lay a hand on his forehead to feel his temperature. Sonas sighs loudly and remarks: "You've never experienced an awkward situation before have you?" He mentions resigned to his fate.

When he is eventually dismissed (hopefully) as being fine, Sonas gathers himself again and looks to Filona. "I'm not a violent person at all, that's why I hoped your methods didn't involve any of the sort. I'm glad to hear that you're not that kind of person."

As Filona answered in a quick reply and an horrified look on her face, Sonas could only stammer.

"Uhmm.... No I didn't ... mean it like ... that... I just thought you were... I didn't mean to say you were... inclined to that... It's just that you were suddenly showing a much more fierceful side of yourself. I could not have guessed your thoughts at all."

Sonas looks red, his face pretty flushed due to him being uncomfortable.
Well that didn't go like I wanted. Sonas you dolt, why can't you form coherent sentences sometimes.

Sonas looks up from his sudden shame and stares to the ground and looks back at Filona.
"At least you're good with words. I am not for sure."

Sonas seems quite awed and a bit intimidated by Filona's sudden change of demeanor against the Sheriff.
Uhm... wow... where did that come from? She seemed to be so timid and unassuming. But look at her now, it feels like she's almost a whole different person.

Though a bit taken aback at first, Sonas then speaks up in the defense of the Sheriff, rather smoothing things over than to rub the Sheriff the wrong way.
"I would hardly assume the Sheriff is wholefully to blame for any of this. Some things go on under our noses the whole time, yet no one can see. For us to question the authority the Sheriff has in this, hardly seems our place to do so, or what he should know or not. Even someone with his standing can be caught unawares you know."

Sonas looks to the Sheriff, a hard gleam in his eyes. "Though I agree with them on asking about Father Tobyn's remains. Necromancy is a vile sort of magic and must be dealt with as quickly as possible. Any information you have for us would be very helpful and appreciated."

Sonas looks back at Filona with a quizzical look on his face.
"What did you have in mind? I hope it's only scare tactics and confusion, not actual torture. Right?"

Sorry to hear about that Perri. Flu has been hitting hard in my area as well, I caught a nasty stomach flu at the end of the 25th. Now when I'm getting better, the rest of the family is getting sick and I'm taking care of them.

Sonas looks at the things laid out before him and thoughts run through his mind. Some of things evil in nature, some of things just plain weird. Bedtime stories for children. He can't put his finger on it, but this seems all quite strange.

"Well, certainly we would have to take a look if these other tombs are untouched. If they've been opened up we would need to know, I will give you that." Sonas says to Filona and Perri.

"Perhaps this is like some stories, a great evil is using some other event as a distraction to hide his or her evil intent. Stealing someone's remains though, makes one wonder what kind of person would steal bones. Together with that robe, one might think of a necromancer or so. Or omeone who wished evil upon the late Ezakien Tobyn."

Sonas walks around the mausoleum taking in the scene, he whistled softly in amazement.

"Never seen anything like this from the inside. It's quite something alright."

Seeing the same discared robe and open sarcophagus as Filona, Sonas walked up beside her. "Alas, no clue. Though I'm a student of the faith, my knowledge is still scant. Hence the student part."

The halfling grabs the meager club from his belt and holds it near, now that he is up close instead of ranged.

He looked around as much as his eyes would let him in the dim light of the mausoleum.

Don't think Sonas has encountered many skeletons as of yet, so he makes the same mistake as Perri

"Back off skeleton, we will smite thee back into thine grave!" Sonas calls out, seemingly finding this a bit funny.
"It's something out of old stories." He remarks as he draws weird looks from the others.

Sonas fires one arrow from his longbow at the remaining skeleton.

Sonas tests the bowstring of his longbow. Satisfied with its working condition he grabs an arrow ahead of the group moving in.

"Let's take care of a ghost or goblin. We don't know what it is yet, but it will put the minds of the townsfolk of Sandpoint at ease. That at least, after everything of yesterday, should prove a welcome relief."

Sonas patiently waits for Verona to finish her spellcasting and goes in with the others in the second row.

As the group walked down the streets
Sonas is also a bit taken aback by all the thanks and gratitude people are spilling onto the group. He gladly took the loaf of bread and replied with a slightly confused voice.
"Uhm. Thank you. Thank you very much... No, no, it was not too much trouble...It's... I'm not... a hero."

Sonas mumbled to himself under the lavish praise of the townsfolk of Sandpoint.
It's not that we did something that strange did we? The group protects its own.

Sonas absent-mindedly took a bit out of the loaf as they went along. He smiled at people, though a bit weakly.

At the chapel.
Sonas, still munching on pieces of the loaf of bread as a distraction, listened in as the others came with questions. About a quarter of the loaf was already gone with small plucks of bread and crust each time.
"If there are still goblins present we will drive them out Father Zantus. If by some misfortune there are evil spirits, I think I could drive some of them out. I was taught such things before, though I'm still an apprentice in those things."

Sonas looks to Kano and says with a cheer in his voice.
"Oh, but I'm all for that as well Kano. I'd like to see her as well. Only... seeing as the Sheriff handles matter of security, right after a goblin attack, this seems more pressing than a seer reading our Harrow for our own interests."

Although Sonas is taking things lightly out in the open as he looks to see the bright side of things, at night his dreams are plagued by singing goblins and dogs yelping in pain.

It is this reason that he wakes up later than usual and also later than any of the others. He rubs his eyes first to get the sleep out of them and then holds a hand on his forehead.
Owww... I think I've slept too deep. I need breakfast to get me over this headache.

Sonas makes his way down the stairs in the Rusty Dragon and asks Ameiko: "Can I have your best remedy for a non-alcoholic hangover? To get rid of my deep sleep hangover..."

As Sonas turned around with his bowl of miso soup and some rice with fish, he saw the others discussing something.
He sat down at a table close to them to begin his breakfast.
"Mornin' all! What's the discussion all about?"

The halfling listened closely as Filona told the story that the Sheriff was looking for them.
"Oh wow! I'd say that I agree with miss Verona. Going to the Sheriff would seem more urgent than getting a Harrow reading from Madame Mvashti."

Sorry guys, busy weekend. Else I would have replied earlier

Earlier when offering the invitation to the theater
Sonas slapped his forehead as he remembered that the performance would be the day after the Swallowtail Festival.
"Darn. I thought the theater was tonight. It's actually tomorrow evening. Well still a welcome distraction I would say."

Sonas looks to Kano and thinks of how to explain it properly.
"Well Kano, Who Pushes Mountains, a theater is a place where stories are told. Usually very old stories or very new ones of great battles, lost loved ones, or old myths and legends. The people who tell the story are called actors, they try to demonstrate the feelings and words of those mentioned in the stories. For instance, if your tribe would tell a story of a great leader or warrior they do so, probably, alone. In this case they have others who try to portray what your storyteller is telling you. I'm not sure if this was the best explanation..." Sonas chuckles slightly.

Later during dinner
As Perri talks about the local Varisians and Madame Mvashti wanting to read the Harrow for them, Perri has Sonas's undvided attention. Sonas is even leaving his stir-fried fish dish with rice untouched.

"Well, Perri wasn't it? I would love to have another harrow performed for me. Ol' Pietri on my caravan has once performed a Harrow on me when I was a child. He said the caravan would really be blessed with me around. Shame he died two years later though..." Sonas remarks as his mind seems to drift off a bit in his memories. "I do wonder what my fate is now I'm on my own."

Sonas helps scout and scour the last areas of Sandpoint for anymore goblins and helps Father Zantus to collect the bodies of the deceased and helps him with the tasks of administering the last rites. Though Father Zantus has other priests and clergy helping him out with most of these tasks, the help is still appreciated.

At supper.
Around dinner time, Sonas rejoins the others for a mutual supper in The Rusty Dragon.

"Well that was quite the day indeed.", he tells the others as he catches his breath a bit from all the events today.
"Seems I've finally calmed down a bit. Bit of a ride over hill and dale if you ask me."

"Say. Anyone fancy going to the Sandpoint Theater with me? I've got a special invitation from Cyrdak to attend 'The Harpy's Curse', with the phenomenal Allishanda playing Avisera, the Harpy Queen. It might help us get our minds off of our situation from today."

The halfling offers everyone of the group that is there for dinner.

Sonas stifles a chuckle as Ameiko scolds Aldern Foxglove on his behaviour towards Verona. Seems he cares more for female beauty than his dog. You could always admire a woman and her beauty, but it's not the only thing that counts.

Then he smiles from ear to ear as Ameiko Kaijitsu mentions the group has done great work today.

"Aww shucks. We've done nothing that is out of the ordinary to defend a community you're a part of. Even though we're just visitors at the moment.", Sonas says with a slight blush creeping unto his cheeks.
"But I'm happy to take up your offer for a celebratory lunch or dinner."

"Protect the dog's owner himself!" He shouts at the others as he fires his arrow.

Arriving at the scene, Sonas gasps silently as the goblins mutilate the body of a poor dog in front of his owner and caretaker.
"Bastards.", he whispered as he chose the closest goblin as his first target.

"They haven't noticed us yet. Let's make the most out of this." He said to the others.

Sonas nocked his arrow and let loose a single arrow at Goblin 3.

Single Shot, Surprise Round: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d6 ⇒ 3

Then, as the first goblins finally notice they're under attack, Sonas fired another arrow at the same goblin.

Sonas looks around and sees the last enemy has fallen.
"Good! Great job everyone! Now for this last one."

Sonas grabs a piece of rope and ties up the goblin to a cart, making sure its hands are stuck through the cartwheel itself and then tied together. This way, the goblin shouldn't be able to gnaw through the ropes and could be questioned later if needed.

"Right. That should do it! Where are we off to now?"

As long as the lat goblin staysup, Sonas continues to fire at it. Knowing full well that spellcasters can be quite dangerous if left alone.
He moves 5 feet closer again, standing next to the unconscious goblin.

Single shot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 241d6 ⇒ 3

If the warchanter goes down before he can fire, Sonas will ready an attack for if the goblin on the ground wakes up.

"Looks like they've got trouble in that slippery surface." Sonas says, as he looks at Filona.
"Good thing we can stay at range, right?"

Sonas nocks another arrow and fires a single shot at the Warchanter.
Single Shot: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 81d6 ⇒ 5

"Whoops! Sorry!" Sonas calls out as he misses the warchanter and his arrow flies over Perri's head.

Sonas sees that of the goblins that like to play with fire, only one is still standing, be it barely.
Better to tip him over the edge of falling I suppose.

Sonas stepped 5 feet closer to him, so he stands shoulder to shoulder with Filona. He draws another arrow from his quiver and draws back the bowstring, aiming at the southern goblin pyro. Then the arrow flies towards its target.

I take that goblin 2 is still up and alive

Sonas turns quickly in the direction that he hears the new sounds of golbins come from, but he's not fast enough to intervene before the goblins act themselves.

Drat! They were too fast. Hopefully I can prevent more hurt being done.

The halfling 5-foot steps south, nocks a new arrow and fires it straight at goblin 2.

Seeing the other people who stayed put to fight off the goblins, put down the last one, Sonas, kept his longbow in his left hand, ready for more surprises. He calls out to Father Zantus, hoping he would reply to him.
"Father! Where in town were the other attacks?!"

Regardless if Father Zantus answers or not.

Sonas regarded the other five, most of them looked like capable warriors of some ability. Filona and Verona perhaps the least of them as they didn't wear any armour. Though he did see them cast minor spells.
Before Sonas himself could talk, the more foreign of the five spoke up before him, after hearing his story, the halfling replied.

"Well met Yamatori! I am Sonas, Sonas Adhello, so named by my travelling family. As travellers we need to be on our guard and keep at least some weapons close to keep raiders and bandits away. Goblins included." Sonas says as he nods his head towards the three dead goblins.

"I've also just recently come to Sandpoint, hoping to enjoy the Swallowtail Festival in earnest. Alas, with these goblins running amok, I believe festivities are put on hold. I am with you Yamatori, it would probably be best to help the ones that are accomodating us. It is something my role as a paladin requires of me."

Sonas is really enjoying both the salmon made by Ameiko Kajitsu as well as a little bit of the White Deer's peppercorn venison. During the lunch he was seated nearby a few of the other entertainers who performed at the Sandpoint Theater. He at least recognized Filona, the gnome with the crazy hair from the Theater.

But all the sights and sounds made him not inquire about her performance. Look at all this delicious food. O they're bringing in something. Is that the something Father Zantus was referring to when he talked about a big surprise?

At the release of the hundreds of swallowtail butterflies, Sonas gasped in awe as the thousands little wings shone brightly in the light of the midday sun. "That's a real sight to behold.", he muttered softly.
Sense Motive: 1d20 ⇒ 15
He wanted to aks around the table if they've seen anything so beautiful, but then he saw the look on Filona's face of slight disappointment and Sonas held back his words.

Guess not everyone is as happy with it. I wonder what troubles her so.

Then as Father Zantus climbs the stage and attempts to speak, his ears are ringing with the first shout. And then another. Sonas sees the sliced up dog trying to get past, running away from a goblin chasing it.

Goblins! I've seen those before. Always trying to cause more trouble, no regards as long as they have their fun.

Sonas draws his bow, moves a little to the side so he has a better aim and fires a single arrow at the goblin to the left, that's still conscious.

And yeah, a natural 1 will be difficult to bear :P

O that's okay GM ^^ I can run with this, now I get to meet the talented Avisera instead.

In my last post I'll use that action to perform for a little bit of money.

After Sonas's last performance in the Sandpoint Theater, hearing the audience's standing ovation, Sonas bows another time and blows a few kisses to any young ladies in the crowd.

When Cyrdak mentions to him that he could introduce him to Avisera, he blushes a bit.
"Why thank you mister Cyrdak. It would be my great pleasure to meet a star of the theater like Avisera. I will see you tomorrow night then."
Sonas says with a flourish.

Sonas makes his way outside of the Sandpoint theater again, heading back to the Rusty Dragon Inn again to get something to drink.
Close to the Rusty Dragon, he starts to play a last song for today, now aimed on amusing and entertaining passersby and perhaps garnering some free drinks or money for a drink or something to eat.

His thoughts go back to his adoptive family and the music they played, he remembered a song they often played during big feasts like weddings and summer solstices.
Normally we play this with a few musicians along the way. I can still play the violin parts. It should do for today.
"Come one and come all! Enjoy yourself this day! Live life to the fullest! This is a tune I call Luck in Life!"

Actually my last Perform check was just one to make a bit of money, but if you want it to be with Cyrdak's again that would also be fine.

After Cyrdak's kind words, Sonas rubbed the back of his head.
"It's been my pleasure sir. If I can share a bit of my home, away from home, then it's with great pleasure. Perhaps till a next time."
Sonas told Cyrdak with a flourish of his right hand and a small bow.

Being very happy with his performance, Sonas walked out with a spring in his step. The other performances were also pretty interesting, but there were so many things yet to see. Sitting still wouldn't do, no sirree.

Making his way down town, walking fast, faces passed and he was bound for Savah Bevaniky of Savah's Armoury. He learned that there was an archery contest there, so he decided to give that a shot, literally. His optimism was still flowing through him as he approached the archery range.

"Good sir Savah. I would like to take a shot at the target please. Here's your required 1 silver." He says happily as he handed over the silver piece.
Remember your training Sonas, it's only 30 ft away. Still, relax and take aim.
He took a stance with his side towards the target, planted his feet and nocked an arrow. Drawing up the bow, he inhaled sharply and let loose the arrow.
Shot on Target: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

After the archery trial, Sonas still had a spring in his step, so much so that he began playing and dancing along with his violin in his hand. Drawing the passersby to gather as a crowd, but he didn't care if people looked funny at him.
The song was a very upbeat song that started slow and melodic but quite quickly picked up pace, this repeated every so often. Every time the music picked up speed again on the high notes, Sonas couldn't help himself but dance along to his own tunes.

Perform Violin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (19) + 5 = 24

As Sonas ended his dancing and playing he saw the crowd gathered around him, smiled, bowed and laughed. If he would have a hat, he would have taken it off together with his bow. "My ladies and gentlemen, children of all ages, thank you for listening. I hope you've enjoyed it as much as I've enjoyed playing it."

It was early morning at the Rusty Dragon Inn as Sonas awoke. He couldn't really sleep anymore as he was absolutely thrilled to see more of Sandpoint. He arrived yesterday at noon, over the Tanner's bridge, booked a room at the Rusty Dragon and immediately after that went over to the finished cathedral to pay his respects to the Eternal Rose and the other gods to which the cathedral was built.

Yesterday
Sonas watched in awe at the magnificent building. "It's just beautiful, a true work of art and teamwork. I reckon the gods will be pleased with such a place of worship for their followers."
"Let us hope they are." a voice sounded from beside him. An older human man stood beside him. "It has taken the burning of the previous chapel for us to eventually rebuild this. This work is not to be taken lightly for it stands for our whole community, representing our combined faiths and beliefs and our will to pull through. Greetings, my halfling friend. I am Father Abstalar Zantus, I take it you are a follower of Shelyn by the way you talk?"

Sonas nodded, pointing to his violin and the crest of a beautiful bird on his pauldrons. "Indeed I am, though this would be my first true visit to a temple. I've learned about Shelyn on the road with my caravan and adoptive parents. During town visits I have been mostly babysitting the encampment so now that I have the chance I want to see as much as I can."

Sonas and Father Zantus talked for around two hours about Shelyn, Desna and the vision of them and the other gods revered in Sandpoint.

This morning again
Sonas had his early breakfast of a bowl of porridge and some berries and nuts, taking a bread roll with him for if he got hungry before the festival started.

Sonas had put on his Varisian travelling clothes, they are flamboyant, a green leather tunic with fine embroidery, a red cloak around his shoulders with a silver lining on the edges and a white shirt with copper buttons underneath his green tunic. Sonas loves music and carries his violin with him everywhere he goes.

At the square before the church, Sonas listens to every story and announcement that is made, excitement taking more of a front seat than finding some speeches to be a bit boring.
On an announcement board near the church he found out about the different festivities going on around town.
Hmm... I guess I could partake in that archery competition. But those open auditions would also be very nice to see and partake.

Sonas makes his way first to Cyrdak's open auditions, it's early morning so maybe there won't be alot of people yet. This way he could perform without it being that awkward. All his previous performances were in front of people he had called family. This was new for him.
"Mister Cyrdak, sir? Would you mind me playing a song of my caravan on the violin?"

Assuming he doesn't say no
Sonas takes the stage, gulping a last time before he sits down on a small stool with his violin. Sonas has his eyes closed the whole time as he thinks not of the crowd but of his family gathering around the bonfires, his adoptive father playing the violin as well, his family dancing. He starts of somewhat slow and setting the tone. Then he gently picks up speed, his violin sounding mournful at first, but then sounding more jolly and upbeat. During his whole performance he switches between slow tones and very fast paced music.
Eventually, still having his eyes closed he gets up and starts to dance along to his own music.

Perform Violin: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (12) + 5 = 17

When he finishes the last tones of his piece of music he finally opens his eyes again and looks around the crowd.

I guess Sacred Touch is going out, just noticed that Paladins don't get Perform as a class skill.

I'll take a Religion Trait then: Ear for Music, still doesn't give me Perform as a class skill, but gives me a +1 for Perform (Violin)

Couldn't really find one that gives Perform as a class skill in any of the books we could pick from.
