Mr. P is happy to contribute. Prefers to give PP rather than gp, but either is ok. Also, worth checking if anyone has any abilities that reduce this cost (for example, I know there's a Silver Crusade faction boon that reduces the cost of raise dead by 25%)

Got it. Sorry for the confusion about the map and thanks for repositioning me. Also, Griff's touch AC is currently 14 (due to haste), so the shadow being's attack missed even without Mounted Combat. Doesn't matter much, but it does mean that Mr. P still has his swift action available now.

"Foul miscreant! By the power of Chaldira, you shall pay for your misdeeds!" Mr. P hurls his words towards the Earl before directing Griff into a diving wheeling charge at Vernisant.

In order to get to Vernisant, they first need to pass through Black's square. Fortunately, Griff has the Charge Through feat, which allows him to do this as a free action as part of a charge.

Griff Overrun vs Black CMD, Imp. Overrun, Greater Overrun, Haste, Inspire, Flagbearer: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 24

If this DOES NOT beat Black's CMD:
The charge ends in the square in front of black (i.e. where it started). Neither Griff nor Mr. P have moved, so no AoOs are provoked, but they also have no valid attack target now, so their turns are over.

If this DOES beat Black's CMD:
If it beats Black's CMD by more than 5, this would normally knock the Overrun target prone, but since it is flying I think it cannot be knocked prone. If this is incorrect, being knocked prone will cause it to provoke an AoO from both Griff and Mr. P.

Having overrun Black, Mr. P sends Griff into a dive towards Vernisant, plunging 10' down and 5' across to charge their target. I've moved them on the map, but please move them back if the Overrun failed. This movement will provoke an AoO from Black (and also Blue depending on its altitude) against Mr. P and/or Griff.

Sorry for the long absence. I got home last night but arrived to a sick wife and daughter and was up most of the night with the kid. This is the first moment I've had to catch up in days.

In any case, it seems like I picked a bad moment to go missing! I've got a few questions, posted below. First, though...

Back at the Senate... Before the group chases down the Earl, Mr. P takes a moment to heal himself from the damage he had taken from Katrina's henchmen. At the end of that fight he was down 15 hp He also takes a moment to retrieve the wands that he had dropped along the way.

Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
Wand of CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6

As the group approached the next battlefield, Mr. P once again uses his wand of divine favor (1 minute duration). That's his only active buff at the start of the next (i.e. current) fight.

I'm not sure if Mr. P and Griff were within 60' of the shadow beings or not, but here are the will saves just in case:

So, Griff failed two of these saves unless they count as enchantment of fear effects?
In any case, the next thing that happens is that two of the creatures attack Griff, which I think renders the fascination effect moot anyway. Let me know if that's not the case.

Griff is easily touched by two of the shadow creatures.

Questions for GM:
So, regarding the Earl and Saluxer's charge attack vs Mr. P, I have a couple questions:
* Are they flying? Griff and Mr. P are typically in the air. However, I can imagine that it's too much of a retcon to undo this, so I'm fine if you want to say that they just got careless and were only 15' up in the air (and hence attackable by a large creature/mounted creature on the ground).
* More significantly, does Saluxer have 10' reach? Normally Large quadrapeds (such as Griff), occupy 10' squares but only have 5' reach (unlike Large bipeds like Giants, etc.). Maybe Saluxer has some special ability, but otherwise, it looks like it wouldn't have been able to pounce/charge them at all? (This is a bit tricky since the map has now changed and they are adjacent, but when I looked at the map yesterday, it looked as if they had stopped 10 feet away (as they had to do because of the shadow beings being in the way). Not sure how to handle this without a really unworkable retcon, but since that was also a doozy of an attack on Griff, I thought I should check with you and see what you think. Thanks!
* ... ok, just finished reading through all the posts and getting caught up. I noticed that you already rolled Griff's 2 will saves (which I've also done just above), so he has either 4 Wis dmg (if you want to use your rolls) or 2 Wis dmg (if you want to use the ones I made just above). Also, per the healing I noted above, Mr. P currently has 0 dmg (since the -15 you have noted was left over from the previous fight).
* Regarding my current turn, if the answer to the question about reach is that Saluxer does NOT have reach, and if you are ok with saying that Griff and Mr. P were flying 15' up in the air, I'll use my turn to use a withdraw action to move away from them (to set up a charge on my following turn), in which case I suggest that we just leave the results of the previous turn as they are since it will just bog things down too much to try to undo them. But of course you are the GM, and I was offline for several days, so please handle however you think is best.

Will wait to take my actual turn until the GM has a chance to respond.

* If he can be mounted he lance charges whenever possible, using wheeling charge and flying. Depending on the situation he either rides by after the charge attack or follows his lance charge with pounce from Griff.

* When charging is not an option he can flurry of blows with unarmed strikes.

* He's only got 2 smites left for the day so he'll save those for the villains.

* In addition to pounce charging, Griff has the Charge Through, Overrun feat sequence.

@GM, minor point of clarification: I'm pretty sure the save to recover from Glitterdust comes at the end of the creature's turn, so the devil still would have been blind when it attacked, giving it a 50% miss chance. Not a big deal since it only did 8 dmg, but just fyi.

Edit: just rereading GM's post above - when you say that the creatures disappear when we engaged them, do you mean that the attacks missed, and then they somehow disappeared? @GM, is there any reason that Mr. P can't have Griff along now? If possible, he'll be riding him, and Griff will be (as usual) flying.

When the group reaches the barred doors, Mr. P will tap himself with a wand of Divine Favor.

Is it too late to try to be admitted to the chamber simply on the basis of our badges? That might speed things up and avoid tipping off the murderers inside. However, if it is too late to take that approach, Mr. P will also sternly order the guards aside if they wish to live.

Does she seem to be ailing due to poison and does the effect appear to be ongoing? If so, Mr. P will give her his antitoxin. Alternatively, he can use his wand of Cure Light Wounds or a scroll of Lesser Restoration if that seems like it would be helpful. If none of these options will help stabilize her, Mr. P offers to fly her on Griff to the nearest temple and rejoin the others as soon as possible, hoping that he can catch up with the others since he will be flying on the griffon.

Re the Nemesis of Aspis boon, if the GM says it's appropriate to use I will happily use it to force a reroll of the nat 20 that critted you. But so far I don't think we've seen anything to indicate that these guys are aspis.

@Brutus, in a party of 5, with two of us as Cavaliers (or a Cavalier wannabe in my case) removed from their mounts, there may be more need for you than it initially seems. Mr. P will likely do very little to these guys and I assume that Spenser is similarly hobbled without his mount. Just fyi.
