Player's Name: Gerald
Character's Name: Shel Whispertongue PFS
PFS #: 12445-3
Faction: Sovreign Court
Progression: Normal
Day Job Roll: None
Notes: Shel is skills oriented. She can do decent damage to humans with her Favored class Bonus and her human bane kukri. Other than sneak attacking, she can’t do much damage against other creatures. She gets a ton of attacks from her two Weapon Feat chain.

Player's Name: Feral
Character's Name: Brutus
PFS #: 10774-12
Faction: Grand Lodge
Progression: Normal
Day Job Roll: None
Notes: This is Brutus's retirement scenario. Let's hope it's an exciting one!
Unlike Miss Whispertongue, Brutus has almost no skills but he's a versatile combatant. He can get tanky if he needs to tie up opponents in melee or he can bring the damage with smite.

Looks like the slot is still available. My level 9 should leave the APL the same 9.33 v. 9.4. So if you all don't mind I'll jump in.
Player's Name: chaosorbit

PFS #: 90071-3
Faction: Sovereign Court

Will you allow me to bring my Mount in here?

![]() |

I assume there’s a stable nearby?

![]() |

Nope. You don't enter taldan houses while mounted on a horse, sorry.
But he's a camel....

![]() |

Sorry but no. I'm sure you can be effective even without your mount and bringing it inside an house is out of the question. The same is true for the griphon: it has no way to open the door, which was closed behind the halfling.

![]() |

You honestly couldn't tell I was being tongue-in-cheek that time around? :3

![]() |

@Ghukar: Yes and you identified what happened but please from now on post these rolls in gameplay and not here in discussion. Thank you.

![]() |

S.O.S. (Save Ol' Spenser!):
Unless someone can intervene somehow, I've just been KILLED - just 2 hit points over and across Death's Door!
It was that final critical hit that did it, so if someone could at least force a reroll on that or something, that would probably be enough.
@DM: I have got a folio reroll - I've gotten mixed signals over the years about whether that sort of thing can be applied to the rolls of NPCs, but that might work if you'd permit it (I'd apply it to the initial natural '20' rather than the confirmation roll). What say you?

![]() |

I can get to you with a cure mod wounds next round, but that won't help if you are already dead dead. Don't see anything else I can do.

![]() |

Feel free to check Shel’s sheet, Spenser to see if there is anything that might help. I didn’t see anything at first glance.

![]() |

There's also the breath of life spell, if there's some way someone could cook that up in the space of the next round....

![]() |

Mr. P will use First Aid Gloves to BoL on Spenser on his turn. Paicho, adding Cure Mod to that might be a good idea unless you have something else to do that would be better.
Re the Nemesis of Aspis boon, if the GM says it's appropriate to use I will happily use it to force a reroll of the nat 20 that critted you. But so far I don't think we've seen anything to indicate that these guys are aspis.

![]() |

Mr. P will use First Aid Gloves to BoL on Spenser on his turn.
Holy moly, didn't see/recognize those things! Much obliged!

![]() |

NB, DM: I am in fact down -4 hit points, not -18.

![]() |

Am I to understand that this adventure will be followed upon by others?
If not (or if time permits), I am sorely tempted to sign Sir Spenser up with a particular group in Retrocon, which will take place next January....

![]() |

This adventure is the last of a series of 3 modules. I plan to complete it before january. And will report it next week anyway in order to get it done for the end of the Game Day.
And while we are at it, please roll a D20 (19-20 wins a boon).

![]() |

Boon?: 1d20 ⇒ 18
So close!

![]() |

boon: 1d20 ⇒ 2

![]() |

Boon for Paicho?: 1d20 ⇒ 17

![]() |

Super-duper sorry for the prolonged absence. I was feeling extra-terrible for a bit there.
Boon for Spenser?: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Boon for Lot?: 1d20 ⇒ 19 FUUUUUUUUUUUUUU...!

![]() |

Bon?: 1d20 ⇒ 15
Game reported. And I feel I need to apologize. I know my posting has not been the best this past week. Unfortunately between my jobs and my family I'm left with almost no spare time. I hope things will change in the near future but at least this game was reported (now let's try to survive it!)

![]() |

No worries, GM. The game has been fun and we all understand how real life can interfere with Pathfinder sometimes!

![]() |

I will be completely off the grid from Thursday (Dec. 6) to Tuesday (Dec. 11). Please bot me as needed.

![]() |

Just a reminder that I'll be offline until late Tuesday. Please bot as needed. Mr. P's tactics are a bit complex but basically:
* If he can be mounted he lance charges whenever possible, using wheeling charge and flying. Depending on the situation he either rides by after the charge attack or follows his lance charge with pounce from Griff.
* When charging is not an option he can flurry of blows with unarmed strikes.
* He's only got 2 smites left for the day so he'll save those for the villains.
* In addition to pounce charging, Griff has the Charge Through, Overrun feat sequence.
Thanks!

![]() |

The game's is almost done. I hope to be able to write your CS down before Christmas but I need you to complete this last roleplaying session before I can consider the game completed I'm afraid.

![]() |

Holidays over (I kept working for most of them anyway, but still...)!
It's time to give you what's rightfully yours then:
Brutus
Ghukar
Mr Proudfeets
Paicho
Shel
Spenser
Please check them out and let me know if I made any mistakes.
Thank you for playing this, I hope to meet you in game soon (but I think I'm going to take a break from GMing now, it's getting difficult to do it while keeping up with my jobs).

![]() |

Thanks for running, DM! That’s a really interesting chronicle!

![]() |

Thanks for the run GM and fellow Pathfinders. Chronicle looks good. Cheers to all!

![]() |

Thanks again for GMing.
Enjoy the break. You've earned it!

![]() |

Thanks for running, GM! Was a very fun scenario.

![]() |

Would you say that we recovered "blackmail or incriminating evidence against a named NPC aristocrat, noble, ambassador, or similar figure" in this adventure?
I mean, there's the obvious, but that might be aiming too high....

Well, the Earl and the Grand Prince themselves would matter. But both are dead (or considered dead) at the end of this scenario so that's kind of a moot point I guess.
There's an obvious noblewoman Spenser could try to blackmail: Karina Deckland. She is Chelish nobility. She helped the Grand Prince of Taldor, was defeated and forced to flee. Despite her hate for pathfinders I'd say political circumstances in Cheliax could force her to pay up to keep the details of her ignominous defeat hidden.
@Everyone: Thanks again for playing the game. I enjoyed it greatly!

Not necessarily! Just because they're dead doesn't mean their place in posterity doesn't matter - especially when we're talking about hereditary nobles!

Spenser doesn't do "blackmail" - 'tis passing dastard fare! - but that doesn't mean the fruits of his efforts wouldn't be rewarded by affiliates who would. I don't know if you could tell, but he is a bit naive....

![]() |

@Spenser: very well, in any case the answer to your original question is "yes, I'd say Spenser recovered incriminating evidence against a named noble NPC".
:P

![]() |

A mere verification, m'lud. :)

![]() |

Mr. Morin, when you've got a minute would you mind marking this game and the Jarlsblood game inactive?
And thanks again for the games!
