Yeah, that's where I'm at. It *seems* like the intent is for Hindering to affect you regardless of your abilities or ancestry Feats, but it makes sense for Dwarves to be exceptionally good with heavy armor, like Elves are good at moving fast.
And it's not like the second part of Unburdened Iron negating the Hindering Speed penalty is exceptionally powerful...
I'm taking Unburdened Iron anyway as a flavor thing in PFS, but if there was going to be table variation, I might go with regular full plate. I'd appreciate a ruling though!

“The witch Bandora has escaped her prison and has unleashed a monster to conquer Golarion! Find a team of adventurers with attitude!”
Hallo, SirGeshko here, playtesting my Power Rangers rules. I need between 3 and 6 players to create a team of Power Rangers to take on the witch Bandora and her crew of monsters, and save Golarion!
Please reference the Power Ranger house-rules here. I plan on running a session at 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 9th levels, just to test the major features of the rules.
Character Creation Guidlelines
20 point buy
Core Rulebook Races only (keeping it simple for the playtest)
Paizo classes only. No Summoners, and no animal companions / familiars / mount options.
Build your character for these four levels:
Level 1: Ranger Suit, 150 gp wealth
Level 3: Ranger Suit, Power Weapon, 3,000 gp
Level 5: Ranger Suit, Power Weapon, Combo Weapon, Zord, 10,500 gp
Level 9: Ranger Suit, Power Weapon, Combo Weapon, Zord, Megazord, 46,000 gp
Work with your fellow players to come up with a team theme, especially when it comes to combining your weapons and Zords. Animals or other beasts, Elements, and natural phenomena are common themes. Distinct colors are a must (no Red and Crimson Rangers for instance).

Had a very short run of this tonight, the combat heavy party didn't attempt to gather any more information about the TriTowers Yard. As a result, they were never invited to the dinner party and skipped the entire encounter with high society.
They were creeped out by the sorcerer and his student puppets, but viewed him as harmless and allowed him to tag along before leaving him with his daughter in the necropolis.
I had Junia reflexively grab the hand of the Gunslinger PC when he attempted to remove the ring, just to add a jump scare to the end of the scenario. Unfortunately for her, he responded with his only Crit of the night, and despite a valiant parry effort by the swashbuckler, found herself with a big hole in her head! I noted her death on his chronicle sheet.
All in all, a fun time was had!

Foreshadow this scene HARD. Have "Magic is outlawed" poster handouts, have the PCs overhear a tavern conversation about how some obscure relation cast light once on his way to the bathroom in the middle of the night and he got taken to Spellhold. Have the militia interrupt and fine a street puppeteer using prestidigitation as part of his street performance. Have a villager wailing in the street because their spouse/child/parent was carted away. Make it clear there are consequences for using magic.
Plus, it gives you an opportunity to make some nifty propaganda posters reminding the friendly citizens that magic is evil and dangerous. Perhaps you could borrow some images from Chick Tracts? ^_~

I thought about asking Shannon, and as talented as she is and as much as I love her art, I don't know that she could mimic that propaganda style. I'll ask her though.
Drandle Dreng could be Uncle Sam, but we wouldn't be able show the poster unless its in the middle of the night! Really though, it could be any VC.

I believe the OP was asking about characters that have 1xp BEFORE August 14th, being rebuilt into tiefling or aasimar after the cutoff, but before they play their first game as a second level (following the normal rules for rebuilding).
Let's take a look at 4 hypothetical players:
-Alice has an aasimar cleric she created back in Season 4, and still has only 3xp.
-Bob built a human fighter back in Season 2, played him once, then put him on the shelf. When tieflings became available, he rebuilt his character, played him twice more, then switched to a different character for Season 5.
-Crystal heard about the blog post, and quickly whipped up a tiefling rogue, playing a module before the August 14th cutoff.
-Daniel missed the news about the retirement, but has a ball of GM credit from running three Season 5 scenarios earlier this year, and decides he'd like to build an aasimar sorcerer; this is that character's first play session.
You are running a table the last day of GenCon (August 17th), and these four sit down. They all have 3xp, and all are playing grandfathered races. How can you tell who is legal? Check the date of the first chronicle that grants xp. Is it dated before August 14th? Yes = Legal. No = Illegal without a boon. That's it. There's no inquisition as to the circumstances of your aasimar or tiefling character, no way of telling *when* you rebuilt your character, just that their first xp needs to be dated prior to August 14th.
If Edna wants to rebuild her aasimar she played once last month into a tiefling right before next PaizoCon, she can do so, because her first xp is before the cutoff date.
If Frank plays his first ever PFS scenario August 13th, and doesn't play again until next year, he can rebuild his Valeros pregen into an aasimar Valeros, because his first xp is before the cutoff.
Unfortunately, Gina can play or run 5 sessions of The Confirmation in the weeks between now and GenCon, to "bank" up 5 PCs who can rebuild into the grandfathered races, because their first xp will be before the cutoff.
Don't be like Gina, don't be a jerk. Game responsibly.

In my home games I tend to allow Profession check to be used in place of skills related to a specific job. For example:
Profession (jewler) could being used instead of Appraise for small gems and jewlery.
Profession (shepherd) could be used instead of Handle Animal for controlling herd animals and intimidating common predators of those animals.
Profession (gambler) could be used instead of Bluff, Sleight of Hand, or Intimidate when used on dice, cards, or roulette wheels.
Profession (librarian) would be able to give a bonus to Knowledge checks, based on what type of books are available.
Profession (sailor) could be used in place of craft(sails) with a penalty, or in place of Climb or Acrobatics checks on ships rigging.
I give PCs who put ranks in Profession (merchant) the potential to get better prices for items through haggling.
And so on... If the GM can give mechanical benefit to a 'dead skill' it gives it lots of roleplaying flavor, and I like rewarding that.

It's also much easier to start GMing if you have a stable base of characters so you can learn their classes as they develop. Then you learn what they can do gradually, and know what their common tactics are.
GMing at a convention can sometimes be a bit crazy, with players bringing obscure class features and spell options. It slows things down if those players don't have their resources ready.
Just keep playing, and don't be afraid to rely on your players for rules advice, or, if there is a disagreement, make a ruling based on your gut, and make a note to look up the rules after the scenario.
Good luck!

My players latched onto the idea of the Stasis Fields. I changed things so rather than numerous small caves holding prisoners, it was a single large cave with an army put in reserve to repel what the Azlanti thought was an impending aboleth invasion. (It turned out to be Earthfall.)
After making their way through a dungeon, and deciphering the reanimation device, they've awakened the army...
The Azlanti are men out of time, but they're still an army. What would they do next? How would the rest of the Inner Sea react?

I've got stat blocks. I don't need them on a card. Sometimes its hard to describe exactly what they PCs are facing, plus, Knowledge DCs are a real game slower for me, as I have to figure out how much to give them...

Both existed before the christian faith.
I don't think he was claiming the word 'temple' as Christian, merely attempting to explain how the meaning of that word was intermingled with the newer word 'church'.
As far as the OP, I tend to let the lawfulness of the faith decide the type of holy sites.
In my Golarion...
You will *always* find a temple of Iomedae with an attendant and a structure with a roof. You can tell how long a priest has been at a particular temple by their rank.
Conversely, you will rarely find a full on temple to Desna. I think the only one I've detailed so far is the one in the Ascendant Court in Absalom, and the attendants vary from acolytes to powerful clerics, changing at random. Most of Desna's sites are little roadside shrines littered throughout the world, and I roll percentile dice whenever the party approaches one to see what support they might find.
Gorum's holy places are not structures at all, they are elaborate banners on great wooden stakes, laden with trinkets of previous victories and carried into battle.
Zon-Kuthon has secret, dark torture chambers where rites are performed.
In the desert or equatorial regions, temples of Sarenrae tend to be grand affairs, but in colder, darker regions of the world they tend to be small, sunlit altars.
Erastil tends to have small living quarters for the priest's family near the center of town, but most of the rites are performed in the square itself.
Abadar's temples double as banks and trading halls, and are typically made with the best materials and tend to be showy.
Nethys' temples are (or are in) libraries and universities, where arcane knowledge is shared freely.
Asmodeous' temples also tend to have extensive libraries, but they are very strictly organized by access levels and obfuscated by a byzantine card catalog. In Cheliax, most buildings have a shrine to Asmodeous in the entryway.
Temples of Pharasma are typically on the edge of town, between the citizens and the graveyard.

The Quick Draw knife thrower build is now financially feasible with the Blinkback Belt (p211). 5,000 gp to have up to four thrown weapons return to your belt immediately after the attack is resolved. Infinitely cheaper than the +1/weapon Returning quality with the added bonus of having your weapons readied for AoOs when its not your turn!

So the halflings and gnomes actually get a 50% bump in their gear capacity, relative to a similarly equipped Medium character.

Fleshgrinder wrote: Exactly as I said, it relies entirely on motivation + result.
Not one or the other, but both combined.
I never said anything about the Paladin "shurgging" off killing an innocent. He would be broken, full of self-hatred, and probably would feel the need to atone for reasons far beyond getting his abilities back.
Motivation and result?
His motivation: Wipe out the invading orc army, saving the town in the valley. Lawful and Good Intent.
The result: The army was destroyed, but so were dozens of innocents. Neutral Result? How can the paladin control the result?
He can't. He can only control his own ACTIONS, in response to the world around him. The Action of causing the Avalanche was LG only if it was the only way he could stop the invading army before they reached the town. If he had time to muster up an army and take the orcs through war and tactics, without the possibility of innocents being killed, starting the avalanche is decidedly chaotic, and neither good nor evil.
His ACTIONS in response to the destruction of the orphanage are more important than his Intent or Motivation in doing so.
Its part of the reason why a CE character, by definition, cannot be a hero. An anti-hero, maybe, like the Punisher, where chaotic and evil acts happen to be directed against others who are evil, resulting in a net win for the forces of good. The Punisher is not noble, brave, nor is his behavior an ideal to strive after.

@Freehold and Grey Lensman- When you show the episodes out of order and preempt them almost every other week for sports or reality show #12345, its hard to build a following. And when you've sprung for an essentially lifesize replica of the ship's decks and CGI, you want to see instant returns. Firefly isn't an instant gratification show. You watch the characters build and grow, and then look back and realize how awesome the show really is.

By RAW, a Vampire is dead, and cannot become a lich. For the sake of argument, let us continue.
Rocket Surgeon wrote: 1) Could the transformation into a lich end his need to feed on blood?
2) Would the tranformation into a lich affect his sensibility to sunlight?
3) Would draining the blood of something living regenerate him for a while, thus hiding him being a Lich? And would this rekindle his allergy to sunlight?
4) Would he still be able to create vampires and spawn?
1) End its need? It never *needed* blood, it just hungered for it. And I doubt Lichdom would enable it to overcome that hunger. (Other than the bump to Wisdom that would give it a +1 to Will saves.
2&3)By RAW, no.
4) I don't see why not!
Since we're throwing RAW out the window at the beginning of the exercise, I think its an interesting idea for the monster to be unique. I like the idea that draining blood restores it to a semi-living state, walking around as a fragile or sickly noble during the day, until "the heat of the sun becomes too much for him", but returning to an obviously undead monstrosity at night. I like the idea of the heroes opening up a coffin to stake the vampire, only to discover a dessicated corpse. They continue to search for the vampire, while the lich rises and attacks while their backs are turned!
Keep the not appearing in mirrors, though, need to let your players figure it out. ^_~
Good luck!
