In my homegame, I've created a secretive Hellknight order whose sole purpose is to find a way to close the Worldwound; the Order of the Suture.
In addition to sending Hellknights to Mendev to assist, typically disguised as Order of the Godclaw, they delve deep into lore about Aroden and the circumstances as to how he stopped the first incursion in Sarkosis.
Very cloak and dagger, because you don't want demons figuring out what you're up to!


I thought Sargava was pretty well isolated from Southern Garund, by way of the Jungle of Hungry Trees and Lake of Vanishing Armies.

The army has but 1,000 men and women, but some powerful Azlanti siege weaponry the PCs were shoo'd away from. Plus, there's a cache of cold iron colossi buried not to far from the fields...

How would the residents of Freehold react to an Azlanti army marching to request/demand supplies?

The first encounter with the PCs was peaceful, the mostly nonhuman party diplomatically educating the commander and some of his tactical advisers of the current state of Golarion and how things have changed since Earthfall, the rise and fall of Aroden, etc. (They specifically tried to leave out Cheliax in the discussion, which may become significant) Up to date maps were provided, so they have a good idea of the region's layout, and a general political understanding of the Inner Sea.

The scholars are coming... as soon as news gets out that there are living Azlanti in Sargava, there's going to be a flood, regardless of any war that may arise. I imagine Taldor and Cheliax in particular would be interested in the new arrivals, not to mention Pharasmites getting a bit ticked off at the 10,000+ year old humans!

Complicating the issue is their cleric's deity, Acavna (Azlanti goddess of battle and the moon) is gone, so they currently have no access to spells or other divine power. Which god would they likely turn to? Abadar?

As I put in the last post, they were put in suspended animation as a reserve force to counter the 'Great Aboleth Offensive'. Unfortunately, the Offensive was Earthfall; the Azlanti prepared for a great clash of armies, the Aboleth chose orbital bombardment.

The army is composed of some of the best soldiers from all over Azlant. To my knowledge, there is no canon regarding the actual civilization of Azlant, so I'm not sure how the city would help... Some of them had distant relatives that settled in the frontier colonies (modern day Taldor and Cheliax)

Their homes are gone, Azlant is a wet pile of rubble in the middle of the Arcadian Ocean, and what leader would they be trying to revive?

My players latched onto the idea of the Stasis Fields. I changed things so rather than numerous small caves holding prisoners, it was a single large cave with an army put in reserve to repel what the Azlanti thought was an impending aboleth invasion. (It turned out to be Earthfall.)

After making their way through a dungeon, and deciphering the reanimation device, they've awakened the army...

The Azlanti are men out of time, but they're still an army. What would they do next? How would the rest of the Inner Sea react?
