I am sure this has been addressed elsewhere so forgive me if it has. A monk in my group has raised the question - if her fist attacks are considered magic items for overcoming DR, can she also enhance her atks. by adding bane, holy etc.? can anyone point me to a reference on that? It seems to me she should be able to get her fists and feet enhanced directly (tatoo style) without the hassle of gauntlets, or wraps etc since her arms are basically melee weapons.
I was comparing the cost for making "see invisibility" permanent (via permanency) to the cost of making a headband with continuous "see invisibility" on it. Is it a fair comparison? It seems that the cost of the headband would be 24,000 gold. For the spell it says the caster must expend just 5,000 gold. I guess that's not a bad markup for a wizard. To be honest, I am probably missing something.
This is not that much of a spoiler and I don't know how to do the nifty spoiler thing, so don't read on if you don't want to. If a party is trying to be stealthy in their activities, how does one reconcile that with fame points? How does Westcrown learn so much about the party? I don't want to go into too much detail. I find this sort of mechanism in the APs a bit confining.

Hey all - a fun question came up in my game recently. A Vrock appeared and cast mirror image, giving him 7 images, not including him, so 8 total targets. The PC had whirlwind attack and wanted to use it against the images since to him they looked like multiple creatures to attack. "You can strike out at every foe within reach." I ruled that he could not use the feat in this way since it was technically one foe, and also since real foes take up their own individual 5' squares (it has been amply illustrated on here by SKR that the images in the spell comingle and can all appear in the same 5' square). Did I rule correctly?
Hey - I submitted my item and it "said 'error" and would not accept my request. Please let it be noted that I submitted this item before the required time. I will be inaccessible for the rest of afternoon and only able to re-submit this evening. I am hoping that the contest will accept this submission since I did submit the item in time. Thank you for your help and I hope the system works this evening.
Other than adjusting for CMBs and CMDs, how accurate are the skill crossovers, and other mechanics - so if somebody has a Jump of 15, is there a simple way to translate that into acrobatics etc. - looking for a list of 5-8 things that must happen to make an accurate conversion - I would like to do it with Shackled City...
I just got Tomb of Horrors (the original/I like to collect) and found two rules that still remain in the game at its core - the fall 10' rule takes 1-6 points of damage and the save for half damage from lightning. Among many others I am sure. Then there's all the magic items that are named relatively the same and then, like archaic history, the slight differences like the original "Adamantite" not "-tine"... It's sweet that Paizo is keeping the flavor of 1st edition alive in Pathfinder.
I don't know - I understand the changes...but, shouldn't Finger of Death actually kill if you fail your save? As the tomatoes come flying at my head, I just feel like we need a Greater Death spell to restore the horrible possibility of actually instilling the fear of real death into our characters...
It seems that the old method was a bit easier, but maybe not...now, there is no cross-reference of character level, simply the XP budget/CRs and then you hand out a number depending on the # of players in the group. I like it - it seems that with the higher XP required it takes longer to level, which seems to balance out the higher-powered nature of the classes. Is this a correct assessment? What do others think of the new XP system?
Okay, so what I understand is that you can sneak attack undead now, if they are not incorporeal. Is that correct? Secondly, undead are now not immune to critical hits unless they are incorporeal or unless you have a ghost touch weapon or other means of ignoring their concealment. Feedback is appreciated!
In the new Adventure Path (Council), there is much content in the front matter that is critical to convey to the players but can often get buried in paragraph after paragraph (this is nothing new to this mod). For example, I identified about 6-7 key scene points that I had to roleplay for the players but needed to be dug out from inside a paragraph somewhere. When combat sections appear, things go more smoothly. My suggestion: create Guide Points or some sort of Key Markers that allow the DM (through a shaded area or section) to identify a section that will be relevant to convey via speech to the players.
Situation - high level assassin was hiding in plain sight, invisible, etc. etc. and his enemy had no idea he was there. The PC is 26th level and has seven attacks. He was right behind the guy and waited. On his turn, should he get a sneak attack on every attack, or does he get only two? (he has two weapon fighting) and the rest just normal attacks?...thanks for feedback.
