Having originally come up with the concept of Pyros' departure based on duty to the land of his origin, why not just continue to write his story that way? What if Pyros, like a young law student, not only delved deep into the ancient laws of the land itself, but found remedy there for his predicment: Pyros snuck off and "discharged his duty" (puns intended); he secretly sired a 3/4 elven child AND then wish-bound the entire elven court, including Telandia Edasseril, into a protection agreement which made all of them responsible for both the child's viability and protection, leaving Pyros free to champion the growth of his Barony AND free to one day designate his inheritor back in Kyonin.

... and they all lived happily for like a minute

No, this is not the one you are hunting in particualr, that is a Rock Troll named Kargadd. However, Ekun is not fond of the idea of treating any troll with mercy. He does have a rather irrational hatred for them.

Not entirely sure why we care about Bart ... we could always spare him the acid and help him out afterwards, but unless I took Geometry wrong, if the radial position of the blast edge roughly coinciding with like 45' were positioned just below 195' of Bart's current position, Bart would be fine, and the 3 trolls and Anton would be blasted. I'm willing to be wrong tho.

With the caveat that I did not go to law school (like some), I believe the actual question is whether Acid Maw can be cast on someone else's familiar ...

DM. When fighting Trolls, Ekundayo has the Corrosive Great Axe and he has +4 (favored enemy) against Humanoid(Giant), so he is a killing machine when it comes to them, so Octavia can save spells that deal acid damage to stop their regeneration.

But I agree with skipping over this on PbP. In the CRPG, there were a bloody lot of Trolls.....

I'm just about there in my current playthrough and you REALLY have to enjoy bussing up for those combats 'cause it's a LOT

So earlier when we split 20K each person got 4193.80. Add to that the current haul of 38,573 split among the existing party before Anton Joins (he gest to update char creation to level 7), gives a split of 9,643.25 each. You're good to go with the armor.

The ancient progenitor laws of our people are not to be ignored, and while I deeply regret that both you and I were not previously aware, as the heir to Kyonin, you have duties. Your title passes through the land itself to Faerin Cordova. While she may choose to make this Barony a vassal to Iadara, you may not choose to forsake your heritage. So it is written; take my hand, the parliament awaits you.

I could definitely see the idea of having the Baron be in the back ground, but I've also wondered how things would play out if the Kingdom were sort of a.... I guess Heirocracy would be the word for a nation ruled by Druidic law? Kind of like the Celtic/British Isles early on.

There's also the idea of a ruling council if people have objections to one specific ruler, though that might cause issues with how things play out with other rulers and interactions in the AP.

Looks like the main options are:
Autocracy: A single person rules the kingdom by popular acclaim. This person may be elected by the people, a popular hero asked to lead, or even a hereditary monarch who rules with a light hand. Modifiers: None.

Magocracy: An individual or group with potent magical power leads the kingdom and promotes the spread of magical and mundane knowledge and education. Those with magical abilities often enjoy favored status in the kingdom. Modifiers: Lore +2, Productivity –1, Society –1.

Oligarchy: A group of councilors, guild masters, aristocrats, and other wealthy and powerful individuals meet in council to lead the kingdom and direct its policies. Modifiers: Corruption +1, Law –1, Lore –1, Society +1.

Overlord: The kingdom’s ruler is a single individual who either seized control or inherited command of the settlement and maintains a tight grasp on power. Modifiers: Corruption +1, Crime –1, Law +1, Society –1.

Republic: The kingdom is ruled by a parliament of elected or appointed officials who represent the various geographic areas and cultural constituents of the kingdom, making decisions for the whole through voting, bureaucratic procedures, and coalition-building. Modifiers: Crime –1, Law –1, Productivity +1, Society +1.

Secret Syndicate: An unofficial or illegal group like a thieves’ guild rules the kingdom—the group may use a puppet leader to maintain secrecy, but the group pulls the strings. Modifiers: Corruption +1, Crime +1, Law...

From my perspective, a druidic hierocracy would make a LOT of sense given the direction things have gone: there's a Druid ... there's a Shifter who actually speaks Druidic ... there's a Ranger. While I know some of the NPCs still believe in other gods, the idea that the Shrike Hills might be ruled by nature worshippers makes sense to me.

Especially given that The Arch Druid would already have General/Warden candidates built in.

You find plenty of rope, and witht he aid of the gnom,es, secure the wagon. This frees up most of you to work on the problem.

You also find a crowbar, but only two people can get to the boulder. Pick two of you. The way I do cooperative rolls is that both PCs make the roll (in this case, STR w/ a +2 for the crowbar), and then whoever rolls the highest is the primary and the others are assist rolls. You can also wait for Faerin to bring back the other two horses if she calms them down.

2 horses could help a LOT
