Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Here I am, chiming in. I would personally like to see two more people recruited to fill the holes left by Tess and Xaivan. We could definitely proceed with us four but I think PbPs need at least 5 people to shield against drop outs. I like the idea of adding a full caster and rogue-like to the mix. Also, welcome DM-Camris. I'm looking forward to playing with you. I do want you to be aware that my character is a cleric of Asmodeus and that has caused some tension (and overall good rp) within our group but he is committed to the crusade. That being said... Here are some questions I have for you. 1. How do you feel about the Summon Evil Monster feat. 2. So far our fights have been surprisingly brutal, which I think was more our GM than the actual AP. (I've played up to our current point with a party of 4 and a 15pt buy and that group has breezed through combat). Will you be upscaling combat? 3. Can I drop my INT to a 7 and rearrange my stats a little. With a class that only gets 2 + INT skill points per level there is absolutely no mechanical difference between having a 7 and an 8 in INT. With few exceptions I always use the same array for 20pt buy (16/15/14/12/10/7) and would love to adjust this character to fit my usual habits. Again: welcome, and I look forward to getting this show back on the road.

Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 I'm pretty good. Funny story. I started playing a WotR home game and after a month we are now where this game left off. In that game I'm playing a cleric of Shelyn. Anywho. It might be best if we put in another request for a GM, maybe even an arcane caster if we are sure Tess isn't coming back (haven't heard from her).

Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 I was wondering if I could take a new feat being offered in this month's Player's Companion. Here's the text of it Summon Evil Monster:
SUMMON EVIL MONSTER You can summon the aid of creatures driven their very nature to destroy goodness. Prerequisite: Evil alignment. Benefit: When casting summon monster, you also have access to the list of evil monsters on this page. When summoning a creature from this list, your debased nature allows you to cast the spell as a standard action. The summoned creature appears as normal for the spell but can’t act until next your next turn. It is not flat-footed, however, and it can make attacks of opportunity as normal. These effects don’t apply for creatures from the standard list that aren’t also on this list. Special: If you possess the Sacred Summons UM feat, you can apply it to a creature on this list whose alignment (as opposed to its subtype or subtypes) matches your aura. And here's a list of monsters I'll have access to in addition to what's on the summon monster list. Monsters: 1st Level Fiendish dire rat (NE) Fiendish fire beetle (NE) Fiendish ghost scorpion (NE) Fiendish pony (NE) Fiendish stingray (NE) Fiendish vulture (NE) 2nd Level Damned petitioner (LE) Fiendish squid (NE) FuathB3 (gremlin, CE) Hunted petitioner (NE) Larvae petitioner (CE) Lemure (devil, LE) PugwampiB3 (gremlin, NE)

Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Pollux tap Karthak with his wand as soon as he sees the demon fall, nodding at Jokum as he does so. He then inspects the demon, delivering the coup de grace if it isn't already dead. As Karthak stirs awake, feeling quite evil, Pollux explains the situation. "It was an Abrinkandalu. It went after Brother Karthak's weapon at first because it saw its own reflection. If any of you have a mirror, it might be of use should we face another one. They are deathly afraid of them." Taking his own advice, Pollux searches the room for a mirror, even looking at Terendelev's scale. As Karthak comes to his feet, Pollux explains to him how infernal healing works and asks him, respectfully, to take another hit from the wand. Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14 Wand of Infernal Healing (49/50) or (48/50). Will fix my sheet to reflect this when I get home this evening. Also, should we level now?

Well, we have to be careful, because to gain my portion I sold something off. So we have about 70 gp in loose change. I'd suggest you poll the party over what to sell and what not to sell. Or I can do it.

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 If no one plans on using the Morningstar, we can go ahead and sell it for 1154 which should cover the wand and the items I plan on buying, a Mwk Cold Iron Longspear, and Cold Iron Heavy Mace, and a wand of Infernal Healing. So that'll be 1154 - 750 - 310 - 24 = 70gp left after I buy everything I was hoping to buy. So considering what I will have on my person, I owe the party for the Mwk Chain shirt, Longspear, Heavy Mace, Mwk Backpack, and scroll of resist energy. In all that's 310 + 24 + 50 + 150 + 250 = 784gp. Maybe we can start keeping track of party debt? I've only ever played PFS past the first few levels so I don't really know how to go about this whole communal treasure business.

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 I'm with Karthak, we should move on. I'll be updating my sheet later. If no one else is buying anything we can just assume that Pollux took his share and bought a wand and some provisions. Besides, if we were to split evenly now, I think at least Karthak will be going into debt.

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Alright. I'm going for wand of infernal healing unless anyone objects. Tess and I can share, and Karthak can spontaneously cast cure lights so we should be good on healing.

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Well after the 750, we'll have 4000 to split 6 ways. So let split that to get 667 per person. Also, I'm paying the group for the items I've already taken. So everyone else should add 90 to their total. So everyone else will get 757 gp after I pay the party back for what I've taken so far. If we did not buy the wand jointly then everyone would get 882 gp after I pay the party back.

Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Infernal Healing: 1d100 ⇒ 13
So both would be available given the limits set up by the GM. Xaivan, Tess, and Karthak are in it seems like. Jokum, and Ce-Eshna, will you contribute?

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 125gp of their share of gold. But we need to decide on a wand of cure light or infernal healing. I vote for infernal healing as it nets us a guaranteed 10hp per charge. But cure light might sit better with our party's good bent.

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 It was probably premature of me to divide things up so quickly. I really want to vote on if we''re going to get a party wand of cure light/infernal healing and take that out of our total before we divvy up. Its a good investment of party funds as it can be shared by our spellcasters. We all have both spells on our list. Though Karthak won't be able to use infernal healing.
Male Human Cleric 1 (14/14 Con) | HP 11/17 | AC 16 | T 12 | FF 14 | CMD 16 | Fort +5 | Ref + 2 | Will + 5 | Init + 2| Perc + 4 | Channel 3/3 | Bullets 8/10
Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 So everyone should get 792 gold out of party treasure (rounded up the fraction. Its really 791.67). I want to keep the items I've equipped so far, so I'm paying the party 450, which means you all get 882 a piece if I did that correctly and that leaves Pollux with 342. If its all fine with everyone else I'm going to purchase the cold iron weapons I mentioned in my post. Check my math though. I could be off. I also think it would be to our benefit if we invest in either a wand of cure light or infernal healing as a party. My preference is toward infernal healing, as a hit of that will be a guaranteed 10 hp back. But it will probably be hard to get given the setting. Cold Iron Longspear: 1d100 ⇒ 53

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Pollux remained quiet throughout most of the exchanges. When they encountered the woman, he thought better than to speak, for he had seen slaves sacrificed before to grasp the attention of an inattentive god. When they entered the Defender's Heart inn, he again thought better, for his God's symbol still hung proudly from his chest. At this time he felt himself almost longing for the cave again, for at least there he had proven his devotion to the cause. He had proven he was strong. As the others talked he looked around, hoping to see a familiar face or two. Where was Kyra? Where was the girl who attempted to dance all over his God's good name. He was proud to see the milk he had spilt still staining the the floorboards... Though that pride turned to disgust as he noticed it was not cleaned yet. Where was Kelden, the sensible one? Even if they had only just met, they were the closest Pollux had come to making friends before Terendelev's fall. After a quick glance at Ce-Eshna reminded him that not all of the Dawnflower Trio had fallen in the recent spate of attacks, Pollux's heart warmed some. However, he knew silence was going to get him nowhere, so once the planning had been done, he approaches Irabeth and Anevia. "It is good to see you lovers reunited." he begins, pretending not to notice any eyes that may have fallen on his symbol. "However there is something I would like to ask of you. To my eternal shame, I am not ready for what lies ahead. Even if I rest, I fear I'll be disadvantaged. Might you, or any of these good men who sit around us, be willing to spare me a spear and a mace, both of cold iron? They are simple weapons and I am willing to pay good coin for them both." He takes a deep breath and holds his head up high, hoping his resolve can head off any annoyed onlookers. Diplomacy(to avoid, I dunno, people thinking I'm sinister): 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (20) + 4 = 24

Spells:
Lvl0 3/3 | Lvl1 2/2 + 1/1 Pollux takes the ribbon grudgingly. Moments pass as he listens to others chip into the argument. As it dawns on him that there will be no reasoning with her to come, he removes his sling from his pocket and hands it to the oldest looking child. "Here. It doesn't look like much but..." he picks up a rock and sends it smashing against a nearby wall, "you may be able to put out more than an eye or two with it. Use it to protect your family. Believe me it has done a fine job for me these last three terrible days." He stands up and nods at the mother before turning to continue with the group. Pollux loses his sling. Its rare that I find AP elements that tie into a character's background without being hamfisted in by the GM so sorry for delaying us by a day or so in real time. I know we're all eager to push onward.
