Yep! You can just hang out on our channel to see everything. For some streams that'll be on Gen Con's channel. We'll be hosting it on our channel when it goes live so you don't miss a thing.

I can't speak for Jason. But the more people who message him on social media about it, the more he may feel inclined to do so. We're glad you like the maps though! When I first got hired here I really wanted to give up and coming streamers something they could use. And I'm glad that we as a company was able to give something. It might not be much, but it's a start of more things to come.
We hope to see you live on our official Twitch Channel at 2 p.m. Pacific on April 8th.
Hi everyone! I'd like to note on Fridays we'll have some shows conflicting. To help people understand how we're handling this show conflict. We'll be hosting Glass Cannon's show when it's a new episode, which is usually once every other day. And we'll be hosting Dragons & Things on the channel when Glass Cannon's show is doing a rerun. We wanted to still bring both of them up in these blogs so you can pick and choose if you wanted to watch a Pathfinder2E show or a Starfinder show.
For those wanting to make your own monster, here are our Pathfinder 2E monster creation rules. link.

I'll ask Sara Marie if we can move it back to its original location. I sadly have no power to do it myself.
From my many years of playing Warhams, I usually use battle foam cases if I need to bring any delicate minis and tons of books. I think I have one of their suitcase models that has a handle and can be wheeled around. But if you're a player a simple EVA Case can do you just fine. If you need to carry just some dice, book, paper, and your own miniature. I think we have some options on our store here: https://paizo.com/search?what=all&q=case As for carrying all of your books to a location that isn't your home. I carry all my books via PDF on my Surface Pro to keep things light. But if you're like me and prefer physical books every now and again, a big airport-style suitcase is what my friends usually use. Can pack all your books inside, use smaller cases to hold dice and minis in the mesh pouches, and the smaller amazon ones can fit a lot of stuff and make carrying your library easier. Other people may have fancier options than me, however.

I guess I'm just used to getting three different things to look at every month. A lot of folks were on vacation, including me. And people are now coming back after working so hard on Starfinder and Pathfinder. They needed it too, they're champions in my eyes. But due to New Years' and people's schedules, we had to delay some things. We should be back to normal next week!

The 2 hour shows were to showcase the Age of Ashes books in a timely manner. But we do want to extend the lengths of our shows. I cannot say anything solid at the moment, but the current way we do things may take some adjustments in the coming months. Don't quote me on it encase plans change.
For those who use the phone app as I do and have issues getting it pulled up. You can go to the apps menu - skills and games - and then you search for Starfinder. Make sure the app can gain access to your phone's microphone and you should be set to go! Also this week for Starfinder Wednesday we will be doing a livestream talking about Starfinder on Alexa and answering your questions! And for those in the future land reading this, you can always check Paizo's Youtube Channel for the livestream VOD on the youtube channel.
To note some errors before Tech can get to it (they're very busy atm). Oblivion Oath should be livestreamed live this Thursday as we all should be back from PAX by then. And for Pathfinder Friday we're going over books 5 & 6 for the Age of Ashes Adventure Path. Not another Retrospective. Also, how have you guys been finding the streams and the new format to them? In the future things will be shaken up quite a bit, but I'd like to hear your guys feedback.

One of the things I'd love to see is people asking their favorite media outlets to give Pathfinder Second Edition a chance. As a lot of folks base their future plans off what their audience and others are wanting. That'd help push the envelope a little bit. Also, I'm glad to hear a lot of you enjoying PF2E so far! It has been warming our hearts internally.
Valantrix1 wrote: I hate to mention this, but I believe Ikyulys is a worshipper of Shelyn. I noticed it earlier, but I figured it would be fixed by now. I'll double-check it for next time! Sorry about that. Also a quick note. We had to cancel the "Art of Starfinder" stream due to scheduling issues. And a new show has taken its place for Wednesday!

Hi bud! This question would be best for its own thread maybe. But I can give you a quick run down on how things are set up here. We use 4 Lumix G7 Cameras for Live Play setups. And Lavalier Microphones to capture our players. Although in general, I recommend actual microphones on studio arms for table setups. As your viewers will usually prefer good sound with crusty video than good video and bad sound. So for the microphones, what I've been using recently are the Shure SM58s microphones. We like to use these for our panels due to how great they are on stage due to sound not being picked up that much for whatever is behind them. Mostly due to their cardioid dynamic range. This helps a lot when you have a very busy office! As for the button pad I used. It's an Elgato stream deck. You can use it to switch scenes and do tons of stuff with XSplit or OBS. In the future, we should have an entirely different setup for our streams. And I will be more than happy to make a guide for potential streamers once we get it all set up. But overall my pointers are to focus on is:
2. Have your players and yourself be genuinely excited and have the capacity to show it on stream. Excitement is contagious! And people like to see you having fun! 3. Play like people can only see you. But explain things if they can only hear you. If you get a natural 20 on your die roll. Give out a cheer and state that you got a natural 20 plus any of the modifiers that go with it! Even if you fumble and get 1 one, be sure to express that it's a bad situation for your character. But in a fun way! With those 3 points, you can grow and adapt from there. Sorry for the word vomit but I hope it helped a little bit! And best of luck.
For future reference, all stream topics will be revealed every Monday via our blog posts if our tech team can get to them. Holidays and such might delay blogs to Tuesday. And any questions for that week's topic can be referred to here. And I apologize for not getting you folks in the loop sooner. Tons happening internally! As for why this thread was moved. It wasn't my call and I've no idea either. But whichever helps things stay organized!
Shisumo wrote: I feel like Ikyulus may have something to say to you, Payton, about his absence from the KoE cast list (also, Jeremy is an awesome player and deserves his chops too). I have no idea why he keeps being left out of the list. As my internal document has him right here. I'll double-check with the tech team and see what happened. Thank you for spotting that!

Sorry! It's not the Lost Omens. That's just me messing up. I apologize for the confusion. I've been looking over the Lost Omens books all last week. So I've apparently been putting it behind every book mentally for some odd reason. LOST OMENS TOILET PAPER COMING SOON!
The time is finally upon us! This week's Pathfinder Friday (Oct 25th) is all about the Pathfinder Second Edition ERRATA! Join the designers as they talk about what major things have been changed with the Errata due to the amazing feedback from all of you! You can find more information about when and where the stream is here.
Hey fellas. I'm glad that you're engaging in discussion. But this thread is to leave questions about the next shows topic. And to repeat our message that we don't typically answer super-specific rules questions for various reasons. We encourage you to bring those types of discussions to the rules section on the forums. As a reminder, this Friday (Oct 18, 2019) will be about the Gamemastery Guide if you do have any questions about the upcoming book.
Tomorrow will be all about the Starfinder Adventure Path: Attack of The Swarm (EXCLAMATION POINT!): Huskworld! We will be joined by Jason Keeley & Liz Liddell as they give a behind the scenes look in the creation of this adventure path. Along with some designer insights on certain sections, encounters, etc. Do you have any questions for the devs on this book before the show? We'll be live on Oct 16, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. Pacific!
This weeks Pathfinder Friday (Oct 18, 2019) will be all about The Gamemastery Guide! We last did a preview of what's coming in the book with Logan Bonner in the past. But I feel that people wanted to know more about it. So our new Pathfinder Designer, Lyz Liddel will be joining Designer Mark Seifter in going over the Gamemastery Guide. Specifically the sections Lyz herself worked on. So feel free to leave any questions about the Gamemastery Guide, or any questions for Lyz herself, so we can ask some of them on stream!
This Pathfinder Friday (10/11/2019) will be about the factions in the Lost Omens Character Guide. We will be joined by Designer Mark Seifter, Developer Eleanor Ferron, and additionally Developer Luis Loza. You get three folks this time ready to take on your questions about the Lost Omens Character guide. Do you have any questions for them to answer on stream today at 4 p.m. Pacific? They'll be focusing primarily on the factions in the book. Such as the Hellknights, Society, Firebands, and so on. But I'm sure we can elaborate a bit more on other sections of the book.
For those wanting the scribbles we did for the creature companion stream. You can find it here.

I wish we had transcripts for folks. But sadly we don't have the resources internally to do that. As I'm only one person, unfortunately. At the moment we rely on the community itself to textify our streams and video. On several occasions though, we do have a blog come out before or after the Livestream about the topic in question. So they should hopefully fill your needs for now.
We usually put the VODs up on youtube a week after. Also, I apologize folks. I just got back from Twitch Con! I got to meet several of you there. And it was an absolute blast meeting you all! Now what's in the pipeline for this week and beyond? Sorry folks! I have been away at Twitch Con and just got back. Oct 2nd (4:00-5:00 p.m. Pacific) – Starfinder Wednesdays! Alien Archive 3: Creature Companions & Making a Companion with YOU!
Then for Oct 9th we will then have the new Vanguard Class showcase & creation with Joe Pasini & Rob McCreary. Oct 16th will be developer commentary on Attack of the Swarm's new Adventure Path installment: Huskworld. Oct 23 will be about the new class the WitchWarper! Along with character creation with Amanda Hamon & Rob McCreary. Then for Oct 30th we will be showcasing the rest of the Character Operations Manual and showing folks how it can assist your playing experience!
To note we will be staying away from errata and super specific rules questions for now. The reason being that if we answer them on a livestream, we aren't in a position to double check and research if our answer to a specific rules question or a solution to an erratum is correct. And if we answer incorrectly, I'm sure people will highlight that portion of the livestream and then use it, even though it could of potentially be wrong, since they had to make an answer right up on the spot due to the fast-paced nature of streaming. Plus, it's harder to find the answer you need to your question in a livestream than somewhere you could look it up online. So instead the team has been taking a lot of your feedback and questions, and they've been getting the ball rolling on the errata internally so they can distribute it to you guys in an effective way.
Hi folks! I'm Payton Smith, your Social Media Producer. And I wanted to better communicate with you all on what will be going on during your Pathfinder Fridays. Similar to what we do with Starfinder over here. In this thread, I hope to gather questions for our developers to be asked live on stream before the planned date. And to also gather feedback from you all. To see how well we're doing, as well as seeing what you may be hungry for next. I will do my best to keep this main post up to date with the current events. But encase I'm out of the office to update you all. Please refer to the latest posts further down this thread to receive further information. Currently, for September 27th. We will be giving you a developer commentary on the creation of the Age of Ashes Adventure Path: Cult of Cinders. On our Twitch channel, we recently did a video on Hellknight Hill in a similar format if you wish to see it here. For this one, however, it will be pre-recorded. As I'll be visiting you all at Twitch Con during the time the broadcast would usually take place. So I would love to take your questions about this Adventure Path, and any inquiries about the behind the scenes in this thread to be asked in the coming premiere on the 27th. Remember to catch us live every Friday at 4 p.m. Pacific for Pathfinder Fridays!
This Wednesday will be all about the new Biohacker in the Character Operations Manual! We will be having a system in place to have chat help us build a character using Alien Archive 3 and the Operations Manual. Hopefully, we'll have time for a Q&A at the end. But just encase do you all have any questions for Jason Keeley and Rob McCreary about the new Operations Manual?
Sadly Jason Bulmahn is currently sick with the Knights of Everflame cold (Tweet at @JasonBulmahn to wish him well in recovering)! So to fill in for today are the ones who helped develop and bring the Ages of Ashes Adventure Path to you, Amanda Hamon and James Jacobs. They will be talking about all the behind the scenes stuff about what went into this AP. And also some cool previous to now sketches of some of the areas. What questions would you have for them about this adventure path and their involvement in it? List your questions here and we will see if we can answer them all at 4:00 p.m. today for Pathfinder Friday! https://www.twitch.tv/officialpaizo. Note: In the future, we will be announcing these farther in advance. This is just a special case due to work sickness.
