Isu keeps his identity secret, happy to serve as a quiet bodyguard for Spectre and his odd and often illegal dealings. But Isu continues to write down his adventures in The Birth of Light and Truth that Arcalinte gave him, never quite getting what it really meant to be a follower of Sarenrae... but, he does have fun and adventurous life, not settling down, even when he turns old and grey.

By the end of it all, his book is full of amazing adventures, and there is even a sequel. And maybe that is what Sarenrae would have wanted.

96 hours after returning to Absalom Station, Isu stares at the bars of a police cell, arrested after smashing up an innocent mom and pop halfling pizza joint.

"Huh. Spectre was wrong." he says in no one in particular.

"Hey. Hey Kasatha." A cop walks up to the cell. "Bond was posted by a droid obsessed with money. He says you owe him 100,000 credits now."

And that is how Isu finds himself as a indentured servant to Spectre, who soon grows into one of the biggest crime lords on Absalom.

Isu flops down onto his bunk in the Sunrise Maiden. What a long strange trip it has been, but he was grateful to have been able to serve as a protector and see all of his friends survive. This time. What lies ahead could be so much worse. At least for now, everything is okay.

After a long nap, Isu wakes to find the Sunrise Maiden in the Drift, headed back to Absalom Station. He staggers out to the bridge to find his friends.

"So... back to Absalom Station." He smiles. "Who wants some pizza?"

I think Paizo needs to figure out a way to give discounts to people who have purchased hard covers through bookstores. Aren't we always told to support local hobby shops? Yet discounts in a program like this only happen if you buy PDFs directly from Paizo.

I'm one of the many people here with no desire to repurchase content I already purchased. I wish these things could be done in a smarter way but I am just seeing the same old model again.

I have been saved by the jet pack standard action. Last turn I would have walked forward and then activated my jet pack, leaving me about 10 feet away and on the ground... and I believe they are 30 feet up? Means I am just out of range of the spell.

Isu flies up, getting within 10 feet of baykok, and then he swings.

I'm planning on starting a 2E conversion of skull and shackles, 8 player PBP game some time in the next six months.

To do this I am wrapping my mind around the systems I want to put in place.

I have written a Players Guide that addresses player backgrounds, a new skill called Navigation, Ship Combat, plunder, infamy, weather, and pirate settlements.

It is a work in progress, it is not perfect, and I am hopeful for the community to help with constructive feedback.

"Aha! We know the identity, at last, of the cult." He starts flipping through previously downloaded materials in his comm unit. " Sivvs is suspiciously close to the word six, and that number of course, is the amount of toppings on the standard supreme pizza at Sixes' Pizza Plaza in the level 6 of the Spike in Absalom Station. It is all coming together now. We shall push forward to destroy the Sivvs at this base before preparing for a final showdown back in Absalom."

Benefit: You acquire a Tetrad certified translator as if you had
purchased it, but you do not need to expend any credits.
Normal: You need to spend credits to acquire this item.

This elaborate datapad has several additional audio receptors to capture nearby sounds. If you don’t share a language with creatures
you encounter, you can activate this device to collect basic linguistic information. The device requires 10 minutes of observed conversation to gain enough information to operate. The device then acts as a rudimentary translator. It does not allow you to converse with creatures with whom you don’t share a language, but it can relate very basic information. Examples of statements the device could interpret would be: “come with us,” “lower your weapons,” or “leave immediately.” The device cannot parse proper names, including personal designations or the names of items and places. Some extraordinary complex or obscure languages might not translate clearly with this device. A Tetrad certified translator has 10 capacity and 1/hour usage.

I've picked the six players and am coordinating with them via PMs, so if you didn't get one than I didn't select you.

GM Stargin-- hopefully you see this before you really flesh out your character and save you some time. I liked your ideas it just didn't fit in with the mashup of the other players that I also liked.

Geez well you are damned if you do and damned if you don't. I'm not going to touch either subject very strongly at all. Will there be corrupt police? Yes, some. They will not be doing any on screen police brutality but will be more like "in it for the money" types. Will there be racism against players who want to play minorities? Well I can't ignore their experience and pretend like racism doesn't exist because that is wrong but I wouldn't want to hit anyone over the head with it either. It will be a light touch on both I guess. They won't be central themes in any case.

Be a superhero in the Marvel Universe! You will start out as lone hero just learning the ropes in NY City after the disintegration of the Avengers, but soon you and five other heroes will meet as a team to protect the innocent and punish ne’er-do-wells. And what is a superhero without an alter ego? Your normal self will have a job (hopefully), meet people, go on dates, and do other normal person things in non-COVID infected NY City while juggling the masked hero life. Traverse NY City with a range of 6 new superhero movement archetypes, swing streetlights like baseball bats with clarified improvised weapon rules, master guns like the Punisher, and create and use your own super tank or spaceship.

This is based on Pathfinder 2nd edition rules with a smattering of Starfinder.

Paizo produced content will all be allowed, the Legendary Kineticist by Legendary Games is allowed (perfect for superheroes), and others will be considered by GM if presented.

There is an approx. 40 page players guide which applicants will want to read carefully: Players Guide

Looking for 6 players.

This is run in Discord as a Play by Post. I have run 4 games there as a GM, and am in 5 games currently as a character. It is a great environment to do PBP.
I expect dedication to the game, with a 1 post a day minimum and more is better. I will be looking for experienced PBP players only, with a track record of posting with frequency and not quitting games or ghosting.

Application requirements and scoring I'll score everyone on a (subjective) scale of 50 points.

1. Pathfinder 2E Level 2 character based on the player’s guide/interesting character/ interesting reskinning of abilities (10 points)

2. Cool origin story/background//quality of writing (10 points)

3. Enthusiasm/friendliness (based on past interactions or through discussions and tone on this recruitment thread) (5 points)

4. Expected posting frequency (based on GM already knowing you from other games or looking at your other characters on the Paizo forums) (5 points)

5. How your character fits in well with other characters I like. I am looking for a diversity of ancestries for story telling purposes (3 humans, 2 mutants, 1 alien is ideal from my perspective, but I could be flexible) and I would prefer a balanced party in terms of skills and abilities (10 points).

it is an interesting thing; I've dropped out of games before and seen many people do it to.

but I've definitely concluded it is a mental thing more of an actual time commitment thing. (because posting once every 3-4 days, which takes about 5 minutes, should be doable for anyone, even for someone who is barely committed).

But knowing the game is there weighs on the mind and makes someone think they can't do it even when they can.

Anyway, that sounds judgy but I guess I am saying that I understand even though it isn't logical.

Bob isn't well known for patience. From a distance of 30 feet, he "eyes" the evil door. "It's just you and me, door. I, Bob, have taken down many a door and you will not be the last one that I also take down!"

He starts the bashing door process by lifting a large stone telepathically and slamming it again the door like a giant throwing a boulder.

After feeling like his bigger size was actively interfering with his burgeoning mental powers, Top-Hat-Bob is very pleased to find his telepathic capacity increasing over the next two days. The obsidian hat sits snugly in his ooze, with just the brim submerged in acid and holding it in place. Whether it is the weight of the hat giving Bob the inertia he needed, or perhaps a hidden magic, Bob has again a much easier time flinging rock and soil about the entrance hall as he works to construct the ultimate defensible position.

He sings as he goes.

Bob ejects Snowball once he starts acting normal, well before suffocation would have been an issue.

And he hasn't forgotten about.... that door.

Wondering what other enemies may be hiding behind it, Bob goes to the main entrance to the castle and starts beating on it with his acid slams. He knows no fatigue and no boredom. It is only him and the door, and Bob does not stop until it is brought down.

Bob considers the large, strong, front door. He considers it long and hard.

"This is not good. This is the biggest door that Bob has ever seen. Bob is feeling the quesy scared feeling he feels when he sees the biggest doors that he has ever seen. Can Bob do this? Can he be tougher than a door this big and strong? Is Bob going to be the door's b!#*%?"
