As the air grows chilly, Mar pulls out a garish red, green, and gold colored shawl and matching tam and dons them.
"It was so warm here. It reminded me a bit of home. Now it grows cold. It must be less than 100 degrees now. It it like living in de Lands of de Linnorm Kings!"
He shivers as he examines the remains of the room.
Mar realizes that this is the place to be for warmth and a good fight. It is a pity that there are no women around to celebrate with after the fight. He will just have to wait until he returns to a city and its taverns. But first he must deal with the fun here!
"I know not your purpose here, mon, but enough is enough! A god who burns people to death for his amusement is not a god to be worshipped on dis plane. If you want to worship Moolach, do it back home on de Plane of Fire."
Mar begins his Raging Song which is Inspired Rage.
Spoiler:
Allies may choose to accept it or not at the start of their turn. If accepted it lasts for that ally's turn or until the song ends, whichever comes first.
nspired Rage (Su) At 1st level, affected allies gain a +2 morale bonus to Strength and Constitution and a +1 morale bonus on Will saving throws, but also take a –1 penalty to AC. While under the effects of inspired rage, allies other than the skald cannot use any Charisma-, Dexterity-, or Intelligence-based skills (except Acrobatics, Fly, Intimidate, and Ride) or any ability that requires patience or concentration. At 4th level and every 4 levels thereafter, the song’s bonuses on Will saves increase by 1; the penalty to AC doesn’t change. At 8th and 16th levels, the song’s bonuses to Strength and Constitution increase by 2. (Unlike the barbarian’s rage ability, those affected are not fatigued after the song ends.) If an ally has her own rage class ability (such as barbarian’s rage, bloodrager’s bloodrage, or skald’s inspired rage), she may use the Strength, Constitution, and Will saving throw bonuses, as well as AC penalties, based on her own ability and level instead of those from the skald (still suffering no fatigue afterward). However, inspired rage does not allow the ally to activate abilities dependent on other rage class abilities, such as rage powers, blood casting, or bloodrager bloodlines; the ally must activate her own rage class ability in order to use these features.
Mar takes a five-foot step and attacks the creature there with his rapier.
Mar wonders what would happen if he were not to bow to the statue. But then he thinks that bowing to it is harmless and would make it easier to figure out what is going on here. Besides, someone else is here as well and they need to be dealt with.
"Dis note, it be to someone who is here in dis temple. Dey are looking for ritual items like de sand you sprayed in your face. Also dey are lookin' for a small statue of Moloch. Keep your eyes open for it. It also says for you to not fall temptation to serving Moloch if you do use de ritual items and someting about a bewitched mind."
Mar looks at L'Mont carefully.
"Do you feel all right? Your mind isn't bewitched is it? You are not going to start serving Moloch are you?"
Mar enters the room and smiles broadly as the heat in the room caresses his skin. His ivory-white teeth gleam as he smiles broadly at the dwarf and everyone else.
"Ah, finally a place dat is room temperature for once! De rest of dis world is so chilly even in a desert under de midday sun. Dis is de way de world should be!"
He crosses over the first lava stream and begins to make his way around the ramp towards its mouth.
Mar looks at the situation and thinks, this might be a good time to sing a song to inspire his friends, especially ones that don't want to waste time thinking very much.

Mar will move into the room and examine the tapestries.
Knowledge(History):1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
"Dese tapestries, dey don't show a battle. It's like a play where dey are only acting out one. I wonder if dat's because Saranrae is the Goddess of Fire?"
Mar muses about it for a moment. "It could be a set of footprints meant to lead us to dat trap, mon. Whoever made dem might have backtracked or used a Fly spell. Let's take a look at dese doors down here and see what's in dere." He moves up near the doors on the left.
Before Mar begins to go up the stairs, he examines the bonfire. If he isn't certain it is non-magical, he casts Detect Magic to see if it is magical or not.
Mar reads the glyphs on the statues and relays the information to the rest of the group.
"Dese glyphs, mon, dey be prayers to Moloch begging for de grace of immolation. We best be ready for more tings dat use fire or are made of fire. I gotta feelin' we gonna be seeing more fire. It may get hot for you all."
He penetrates the creature with his blade and tries to do more damage, but is unable to do so. He muses to himself, "Oh, that's right. Elementals are tough to kill." Pulling his rapier out, he notices the blade is beginning to heat up from the contact with the elemental.
Mar Leigh will attempt to make a Knowledge (Planes) check.
Knowledge (Planes):1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Mar gets out his lute and begins to sing.
"When I was a little boy
And the Devil would call my name
I'd say "now who do
Who do you think you're fooling?"
I'm a consecrated boy
Singer in a Sunday choir
My mama loves, she loves me
She gets down on her knees and hugs me
She loves me like a rock
She rocks me like the rock of ages
And she loves me
She loves me, loves me, loves me, loves me"
"Dese who dos are unknown to me. We donna have tings like tem in Sargava."
Mar Leigh, a large black skinned man with long flowing dreadlocks tumbling from his head flashes a pearly white toothy grin and says, "Eet be a good ting I am used to hot weather. Still, Qadira be a bit drier tan what I be used to, mon. We find dat statue for you and bring it back or else we destroy it in place."
Mar Leigh is dressed in a riot of colors. His studded leather armor is cut into a dashiki pattern. A garishly painted lute hangs on his side. As you study him, you begin to realize he isn't quite human as the dreadlocks have a reddish tint to them and that they cover a pair of horns protruding from Mar's skull.
"Buffalo Soldiers, mon. Dat be what we be for dis trip."

If Mar is going to be too high for the group or you want them all 1-2 levels, I have a L2 Magus that I could bring along.
Mar Leigh decides his efforts at combat are ineffectual. He then moves to where he is, and begins to sing a song of Inspired Rage.

Mar Leigh hears the word "Sacrifice" and stops dead in his tracks. His lips move silently as he appears to be lost in thought. "Sacrifice? I just tought of someting for dat. Here, listen!"
Hello my friend, we meet again
It's been a while, where should we begin?
Feels like forever
Within' my heart a memory
A perfect love dat you gave to me
All, I remember
When you are with me I'm free
I'm careless, I believe
Above all de others we'll fly
Dis brings tears to my eyes
My Sacrifice
When the song ends, Mar Leigh casts Detect Magic on the coin. He informs the others that the coin is magical in nature but that his training in Spellcrafting is somewhat lacking at the current moment.
Diplomacy? That's a skill I actually have a good number in!
Mar Leigh unslings his lute and begins to sing a song to help the situation.
"I was struck by ligh-ting, walkin' down de street
I was hit by someting last night in my sleep
It's a dead mon's party, who could ask for more?
Everybody's comin', leave your body at de door
Leave your body and soul at de door"

Mar Leigh starts dancing to the beat about the tomb hamming it up with everyone to break the tension hanging in the air.
Mar Leigh takes advantage of this opportunity to step into the tomb and begin to examine the walls, the floor, the ceiling, and then the skeleton and anything it may be resting upon.
Perception:1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
He is pretty sure the walls are where they are resting on the floor and supporting the ceiling over some dead guy lying there.
"A mausoleum? Dat sounds spooky. Are you sure we shouldn't go to de Wall of Names instead? But den, what name are we to be looking for? I be dere are a lot of names on dat wall."
