Oh, that's definitely good to hear. From what it seemed like the campaign was just going to be this big smash and grab heist, like a mid-level one shot.

To be honest, to a certain extent I've lost some interest. It's still a fun game and I intend to see it done, but I thought this was going to be a really complex planning heist game and it turned out to be a dungeon crawl/smash and grab. It just wasn't the style I was expecting.

Not quite. Snap Shot allows you to treat your initiative rolls as a 20 for a surprise round. That means if you are acting in the surprise round, then you get to treat your initiative as a 20. If you would not normally be acting in the surprise round then snap shot does nothing, just as it says at the end.

His form grows more and more blurry until he turns into a gas, and he slips between the bars. While in gaseous form he scouts the area quickly.

Going to see if anybody else has any ideas. I can mix up an extract of gaseous form, go through the bars, and see if I can lift it from the other side, but that will take up my one unprepared 3rd level spell.
