Ah.

Taunting the Postmonster. Not a good idea.

Silly forumites: taunting's not for Postmonsters.

Now that I have the SUPERSTAR MIKE WELHAM to vouch for me, maybe my adoption by Lisa and Vic will finally come through.

WHATCHA GONNA DO WHEN HULKIMANIA RUNS WILD ON YOU!?!?!?!?

Grit my teeth, wait to wake up from what is obviously a nightmare, then drink some coffee so I don't fall asleep ever again.

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!!!

Then you can answer questions 24/7/365!
So, it was a good thing after all, right?

A quick save! I was practically birthed in this community in a Sebastian/Heathy fight thread. <Sniff> Good times.

Okay, if this isn't reason to have peace, love, and no further fights on the Paizo boards ever, I don't know what is?

Gary - is it possible to put a filter up on any thread that goes all flamey that says "Warning, the post you are about to make could contribute to the creation of a plant-based organism taking root here at Paizo. Are you sure it's worth it?"

I-I...I told myself I wouldn't cry!

Who, me?

Dang. Vic continues to ignore my offer to put myself up for adoption. I may have to take the gloves off and make it clear that I am an orphan now. A Star-Wars-loving orphan in need of minis.

Yeah, probably Ross or Gary.

I'm gonna go with my hero, Gary Teter!

EDIT: For the hubristically contextless.

Talking to the kiddo who is recovering from her severe stomach flu, I just remembered the vivid dream I was having this morning right before I woke up: she and I were at the old house with my deceased mother, and we were entertaining a guest with a nice dinner. The guest was Sean Connery.

!!!!!!!

At the time, I could even remember some of my conversation with Mr. Connery. To be clear, this was like Hunt for Red October era S.C.

You know what, I'm not tellin' you people my dreams anymore!

Screw you guys . . @ - - I'm goin' home!

And FHDM I am so glad to know I am not the only one who doesn't like Pixar! :)

I get so sick of hearing about how I should like them. I don't. They're not my thing. It's not like they don't have plenty of fans without me. :)
As FHDM said, different strokes for different folks. Ot of curiosity, what are your favorite animated movies?

Let's see...Tangled, How to Train Your Dragon, Sinbad, Titan AE, Beauty and the Beast, The Last Unicorn, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, Mulan minus the annoying Eddie Murphy dragonish character, The Secret of Nimh. I'm probably missing one or two off of that list, but that gives you a pretty good idea. :)

Edit: remembered which one I was missing. Howl's Moving Castle.

Miyazaki-sama!

Gary couldn't stop talking about you at the con.

Madclaw: I can think of one, at least. I think it's probably like comic books. I was never a big fan of comic books. Star Wars and and then GI Joe for a little while. But it seems like most other gamers were.

I loves me some Tim Burton.

This whole thing gives me an idea for a new flavor of Haterade(tm)- Haterade(tm) Lite- For when you only hate some of the things involved in a certain situation. It also has 2/3rds less sugar than regular Haterade(tm).

Haterade(tm) Lite- Cuz FHDM loves Tim Burton.

Who are people going to hate next? Danny Elfman? Johnny Depp?

EDIT: Ah, I see the Depp hate has already arrived. ::Takes swig of Haterade Lite::

CR was definitely worth it to me (preorder price), but the rules sure need to be rewritten.

Interior. Night. Four Nerdy Players sit around a table in someone's basement, playing Castle Ravenloft.

Nerdy Player #1: "These rules are a mess."

Nerdy Player #2: "My turn is taking, like, twenty minutes."

Nerdy Player #3: "I'm so confused."

Nerdy Player #4: "I want my mommy."

Scene 2.

Exterior. Day. Three Hip Friends sit at a poolside table. The Coolest Guy Ever arrives, holding a board game.

Coolest Guy Ever: "Check it out everyone! Castle Ravenloft, Second Edition!"

Rock music starts to play. Girls in Bikinis emerge from the pool, carrying cans of Mountain Dew and fistfulls of Castle Ravenloft Second Edition game pieces. The Coolest Guy Ever starts playing the game with his three Hip Friends.

Hip Friend #1: "This new edition of Castle Ravenloft is awesome!"

Hip Friend #2: "I don't even need to look at the rules!!"

Hip Friend #3: "This amazing 2venture warrants three exclamation marks!!!"

The Coolest Guy Ever jumps up on an adjacent table, plays a guitar solo in the direction of the game board, and game pieces dance around impresively. Girls in Bikinis gawk at the Coolest Guy Ever, their expressions showcasing equal parts amazement and sexual desire.

Coolest Guy Ever: "Thanks, Castle Ravenloft Second Edition! I'm just glad I'm not some lame troll who lives in his mother's basement, hates America, and plays that old 'Practice Edition' of the world's greatest game!"

This would be a brilliant commercial.

Dear God,

Please let Scott Betts invest his entire future in marketing or some other endeavor that demands great public relations skills for success.
Amen.
