I think Herolabs themselves suggessted the workaround I use which is to create a faction change prestige journal entry This is done by creating a prestige award for your new faction entitled faction change and then award your character the prestige of your old faction and spend the prestige required to change faction (zero for a free faction change) and any prestige spent in your old faction Then your new faction should have all the right totals ![]()
![]() If this is to be allowed in PFS it is a simple 3 step process (which must be taken at the same time) Step 1 Have Atonement cast on you by divine caster of your new deity (500gp cost) Step 2 Have atonement cast agian with additional costs to regain your cleric powers* (3000gpthat is 500gp for spell 2500gp for gifts as per Core rulebook) Step 3 Retrain domains as appropriate for new deity using up 10PP and 100 times your level in gold (or possibly 5PP and 50 times your level if only having to retrain 1 domain or even 0PP and no gold if your current domains fit your new deity) *this is the reason why this is still debatable do you regain ceric powers or regain cleric powers of a deity you never had in first place The only remaining question is does Mike believe it is right to allow clerics to change deity. ![]()

![]() Dont know if it has been already suggested but would giving those who play down the option of taking the slow rewards for their tier or normal awards for the tier they played be a step up from the current model? Not sure the Jam tomorrow delayed credit option works I have a 1st level character and play three scenarios with 3 friends with level 5s I delay credit for each and then They are level 6 and I am still level 1. (OK unlikely example to prove a point but something similair will happen with delayed credit system) ![]()
![]() When you do introduce new replayable mods can you please make them less ambushy. In first steps 1 for example with new players I have to bite my tongue and not say stuff like Spoilers omitted as I cant do them But suffice to say Characters who complete first steps should be expecting an ambush every adventure and in replaying them I have to either keep quiet or go into Admiral Akbar mode at every opportunity. ![]()
![]() As the event organiser we were looking to kickstart PFS again in our area. For the newbies we ran We be goblins in the first session and we had two other scenarios for our returning players. Second session was going to be First Steps 1 but we only had two newcomers for that session so I decided to run Rise of the Goblin guild to give two of our DMs a chance to play through a new scenario. I think in prepping the previous run I had noted the BBB could hit like a train and I may have to show some care there but my first group of mostly 2nd levels breezed through. So as followup to We be goblins it seemed ideal so we had fun breezing through players 1 shotting all the goblins and then Tinywych wins initiative and get close to BBB with her ranger. Then BBB crits for 41 damage (or 29 if you fudge it and dont triple the six). Cavalier charges in and gets bashed for a regular 13 damage on the next round. We run out of time but with two 1st levels left chances of survival not good In other words a crap end to an otherwise verry good day which most of us enjoyed. I certainly did till the last 5 minutes |
