Also, I would like to point out that several people had questions regarding the base concept of the legendary items. A general statement may be useful here.

Specifically:

1.: Can items such as Death's Scythe gained per template be used as "base" item for those legendaries?
2.: If so, can we further "improve" them slightly? We already paid their cost with the template, in a way, so it would seem weird that getting a normal old weapon may be more "useful"(e.g. use Deaths Scythe against living things, and get another Scythe with undead-bane as legendary item)

3.: What about non-weaponized/non-armor legendary items? Someone said there's no budget for those, but you said we may have ideas about them and offer them up. What is true about them, now?
(Specifically, we understand we should not "expand" our budget we spend on innate items, but for those of us not dual or multi-wielding, and those builds not dependent on armor, it seems a bit unfair as the extra value is basically lost(unless I run around with 3 scythes, 2 of which are legendary...).

Thanks.

That's part of why I've got a ghost-touch Naginata as one of my legendary items. Gives me a way to deal with things that aren't susceptible to negative energy (constructs as well). I have Crusader's Flurry, so I can use it quite effectively with Flurry of Blows.

Daylight Vulnerability is annoying, but hardly crippling (-4 to rolls). If penumbra's out, Daywalker allows an incorporeal to function as a fully corporeal undead too. Interestingly enough, as written, I still get to keep the 100% DR bypass when using daywalker, and my unarmed strikes then deal physical damage instead of negative energy. :P

Without the stat boosts it's a nice set of buffs that's balanced out by some drawbacks. With the stat boosts it's absurdly overpowered.

Edit: Never mind that I can do spell combat with oracle spells including heal, and have healing as a domain as well. Plenty of options for dealing with negative-energy immune creatures.

It's fun, because you made almost the same concept as me, just with a different base. I have Crusaders Flurry with my Scythe. Good old regular Death's Scythe :)

But taking that as example, you'd heal me with both negative and positive energy, so spell combat with heal is out as option as is infusing your strikes with negative energy.
Of course, neither of us could empowered vampiric touch each other, either. But ultimately, we're on the same team.

So I am sorry if that came across antagonistic, but I'm regularily taking a look at others to see if I could do something if I end up in combat against someone like that, because I expect our enemies to be at least our equals. So I see it as a way of making sure I don't end up with glaring weaknesses.

As said, I like the template myself. Just felt some aspects were limiting me too much if I had intended to keep all options open. Again, apologies if I came across too negatively, it was not my intent at all, I just meant to explain why I feel it's not "pure awesome" in such a overpowered game, expressing my personal feelings. Did not intend to step on any toes. With that, off to bed, and good night-

Well, my AC currently sits at 58...though with the monks robe, that will be 59, and if I re-work my template distribution to get 2 more levels in one class, I'll end up with 65 AC. Since Int+Cha+Wis will all be 2 higher, probably 68.

The problem is that most of that is "automatic", I could only drop Dex, or get rid of Unearthly Grace. But I consider that a "work-in-progress". I expect those picked will get a little while to do final adjustments, I would make sure that my AC is in-line with everybody elses in my group.

Saves are 25/20/24, but that does not include a Bonus from a Cloak of Resistance...once again, fine adjustments afterwards, I can leave them or push them up to 30/25/29.

Also, I end up with (Vile) Leadership from Suzerain, but I see that more as a "tactical group"-leadership, explaining the boni he grants to allies nearby.

what do you mean, mostly-normal? Year of exposure to specific online cultures made it impossibly for me to see where the "mostly" comes into play.

Sariel looks *perfectly* normal to me. Exactly as expected. Very Desu, too.

@Cuan, yes, we are allowed to do so, I asked earlier.
And Discorporate would definitely be ok, seeing how everything else so far was(except for ONE thing i asked about, which was instantly declined).

Aye, and some are just your plain old Angels, ready to fall.

@battlespy, I would assume it works as usual in this case, you pay more for the lesser effect if you combine magic effects in a item such as the case you presented.

@bigrig: the thing is that some monster races would give you a ton more HD for the CR they have. Get undead, and bam, you have 16d8+Cha Mod HP for a mediocre investment, literally SWIM in skill points, and get boosted SLA's dependend on your HD+mod. In other words: it's good they are banned.

Soul Safe: Your item carries a part of your immortal spark within it, and unless the item is destroyed you cannot be permanently slain. If you are killed, your body reforms 24 hours later in the nearest open space within 30 feet of the item...This is a persistent ability.

Fun thought: Give that to BOTH of your legendary items, then have followers place them 100 feet apart. 24 hours later, there's 2 of you ^_^ Also, thanks for the quick glance, Rednal

Regarding incorporeality: I had considered it, but honestly, not a huge fan of it. Certainly fun to have it around, though.

Also, I guess nobody is interested in acknowledging me as their leader? ;)
How about you? I'm the same race and alignment as you are...I mean, why not?
