Harboth's dwarf rogue (still in process) is HERE. He's brand spanking new.

Liberty's Edge

Helaman!

I have a dwarf rogue that I'm sprucing up to submit to this thing. Hope to get him together in a timely fashion.

Everyone reading this: this character was in another PFS PbP that Helaman ran - the Dalsine Affair - that was smooth, well-paced and fun, so this should be a great adventure.

Ah, the DMPC - win some, lose some, occasionally in the same turn. Sorry for the absence.

Harboth does a quick fist pump (but not a full-on Tiger Woods, as that would probably take up my standard action)at the falling fae. Ha haa!

Ullllhggghgh....

At the sight of the little rock, he shouts, Ooh! The stone! Somebody - he looks around, realizing that he is the closest one to Opal - Oh.

He then drops his bow, takes a step over to Opal, then retrieves his blanket and throws it over her. Sleep well, Opal. We'll get you up soon.

P.S. love this typo:

Opal, you can get a round of actions out from when you made your first save, but I do recall you were threatened, so it would likely have been a full retreat or 5 ft step and a heal or something. My bad on that. Kyo, you're feeling a little sleepy. You'll get a fort next round to not be unconscious for a gross amount of time.

So I take it Opal is awake?

It's going to be a busy-ass day, so I will go ahead and post Harboth's action:

Harboth shouts, Ha haa! as he cuts himself free, then there is an, Oh, sh- cut off by the WHOMP! of him hitting the bridge, a slippery, scrabbling sound of half-orcness sliding across the wet bridge despite Harboth's best efforts, and finally a PLOOSH! as he plunges into the lake.

Where does he land?: 1d6 ⇒ 2

Harboth then attempts to swim to shore whilst holding his weaponry.
Swim mf'r swim mf'r swim!: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (5) + 8 = 13

On the assumption that that worked (calm water, right?), I went ahead and moved Harboth a square to the NE of where he landed in the water.

Harboth then sets off at the head of the group, bow in hand. He keeps up a quick pace (maybe 7 on a scale of 1-10, with 1 being a group of preteen girls at the mall and 10 being a run - think walking with a sense of urgency, not quite or maybe just a light jog), looking back occasionally to make sure that no one is lagging too far behind. That is grim news, but no more so than I had expected. I'm sure their bodies have been taken by the beasts of the forest by now. Do you think it was indeed the fae that slaughtered them?

After hearing the gnome's response to this last question, Harboth will hustle back to the group, not wanting to delay them any further.

Harboth replies to Baz, Indeed. To answer your question, my goal is to discover the fate of one Thaven Lumberbeard and his band of forest- Stopping mid-sentence, he has a flash of realization and calls to the leader of the gnomes, or any other gnome close enough for him to get their attention.

Man! That looks great! I didn't know you were such a cartographer, Ander - there is no way I could have made a map that useful.

Liberty's Edge

AC 16 / T12 / FF14 | HP 28/[28] | F+5 R+6 W+4 (+2 vs fear, +1 vs enchant) | Perc +10 (+2 urban areas) Init +2 (+2 urban areas) Half-Orc Ranger 3

Potion of Crafter's Fortune added to wish list at Marty's Magic-O-Rama. Unless anyone else wants to help with the map-making, I will roll aid another to help Ander make a map, if Ander is so inclined.
