Bazresh Izzakesh

Side note, Baz should be adjacent to Harboth after healing him.
Bazresh circles in front of the party, avoiding the rats, and moves to Jeb, healing him with the wand. Opal, quit throwing things and help talk this Gire down! I don't think it really wants to fight us!
CLW for Jeb: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Jeb Shakes
|
Jeb dances to the east, moving about 4 squares away. He scans the sky for the invisible voice, readying an action to shoot him should he appear.
Um, I moved twenty feet to the east on my first action. Should I still be caught in the rat-splosion?
Jeb Shakes

Jeb, his newly un-rat-chewed form surprisingly whole, calls out in aid to the diplomacy.
Aid Another (Diplomancy): 1d20 ⇒ 11
"Listen, whoever you are. We ain't gonna eat you. Heck, I don't eat nothing I used to know, even if I just met it!"
Harboth Redacre

Harboth yells, Grits! Noooo! as his canine friend falls under the onslaught of gnawing teeth and dirty claws. He remains fixated on the swarm, hacking his way toward the dog.

I can hit the main page, no problem. You might still be SoL, though that's not quite my problem, do ho ho.
Bad rolls
That's why buying the PFS-sactioned reroll shirts are for, dawg! Totes legal for online games, still, I just need proof you have one and are wearing it at some point.

Acid splash damage is only 1, not 2.
Fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Opal steps out of the swarm, then pulls out a vial and spreads a vile smelling liquid on her breastplate. Vermin Repellant: DC 15 Fort save for the swarm to enter my square.
| GM Burglar |
Actual Round 2 Without the swarms, we're entirely in a 10-wide path with these furballs landing roughly 40 feet from Kyo. You're about 200 feet from the base of cottage, though you've gotten caught in a large valley between hills, so you have no LoS at this precise location. To get one, you'd need to get within 100 ft of the hill, pretty much.

This time, a ball unfurls into a creature from the Bestiary, finally weasel! The weasel charges as well, also provoking like the animal it is!
Bite+attach if hit: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 71d3 - 4 ⇒ (1) - 4 = -3

Party up! Additionally, Opal is right; I thought Alch Fire was 1d6+1, not 1d6.

Not sure if another Diplomacy check is allowed, if not make it another Sense Motive at +11
It works like regular diplomacy, but you pushed her back down to Indifferent after the "failures cause her to go hostile and add 5 to the roll each time for the individual" roll barrage, and someone after you can likely hit the 17 required to fix that.
---Combat End!
... though the buzzing of noisy insect wings continue to spin around in a panic. "Bu- but you you're too late for Hemzel! Cyflymder said Hemzel was going to lead the humans to destroy the fey! So we pounced and surprised him. Cyflymder and his brutes tore the druid apart. His poor wolf friend too! So much blood! The cat killed my sister, but I... I'm not sure if he was wrong in it..."
Harboth Redacre

Harboth largely ignores the conversation at this point as he switches his fur-spangled axe for a wand and taps it thrice upon Grits.

We mean you no harm, or your fair home. Something is wrong here in the forest, as I am sure you have noticed. We come to set things right. To stop the rotting infestation that is spreading.

As the conversation goes on, Kyoshiro hands his wand of CureLight Wounds to Harboth and asks he use it on him.

"You're... you're not going to eat my head? For real?" A miniscule, green-skinned humanoid hides behind a branch, dropping invisibility. A pair of dragonfly wings are on her back, likely explaining the buzzing earlier. "Um, what can you do to help my rot? Am I going to die?"
A note that Fae/Fey/Fay (whatever your favourite spelling is) are ID'd by Knowledge (Nature).
| GM Burglar |
Opal moves around the tree to visually corner the fey. She squeals in fear, though only tries to rotate her leafy shield between herself and the big person. She is quite easy to examine, being as bare as any beast of the nature would be barring a single, tiny bag tied to her waist by twine. She is no taller than 4 inches, and nothing visually ailing her (from this distance) beyond a hyper-active imagination. "Wh- am I, am I going to make it? Can you fix me?"
Opal Moonstone
|
You are fine for now, little one. I was talking in generalities earlier. It seems you have not yet been touched.
I was also getting my sessions mixed up. Both of the other PBPs I am playing in are also in the forest and they have undead.
| GM Burglar |
The fae's face peers out with a slight look of calm, but is still clearly in a panic. "Clfymder sent me down here and fled north, promising to clear the Verduran Forest of the scum who stole our heritage by destroying his history-stealing rock. I think he is extranormally cruel and made many grotesque threats against all who oppose him." She looks with a genuine concern with the hut's chimney's smoke as a backdrop. "It would be better if you fled on your own, wouldn’t it?"
| GM Burglar |
"I wouldn't know; I only saw it from the top of the hill that way." She takes one hand off her leaf-y shield and points the direction you were going. "My sister was with him during the raid, though he didn't mention her when he sent me here. If you see her, please tell her Mire is okay and that you're not bad."
| GM Burglar |
As Bazresh and Kyo crest the hill, they can now see the hut that (which is a mere run's distance away) has smoke coming out of more than its chimney, its windows beginning to billow a few trails of smoke into the air.
The area surrounding the hut is scattered with a few bodies, though at this distance its hard to tell what each cadaver is.
Bazresh Izzakesh
|
Bazresh yells for the party to hurry and follow as he begins running toward the hut. As he he closes the distance he slows, scanning the bodies on the ground.
When Baz gets to within 30', he will start using his deathwatch SLA to check the corpses.

Harboth hustles behind Baz and Kyo, drawing his bow and scanning the hut for anything other than fire and bodies, particularly if it is moving.
