Hello, Glorymane!

"Hear, hear!" The half-orc takes a long drink.

"Karaoke night here must be a blast."

The tattoos and scars across this half-orc's broad shoulders, muscled arms, and back draw your eyes towards areas at which you really shouldn’t stare. You miss what was said as he laughs heartily, combing back his dark, wavy hair with one hand. A deep, rich sound. Relieved to find yourself looking at his face, you can’t help but notice his eyes, shining from below his pronounced brow. They are a bright piercing blue that stand out in contrast with his grey-tinged complexion; so different from the dark eyes natural to his race. As your gaze strays down his face, you notice his tusks. Small and white, accentuating his easy smile. They peek out of his mouth as if he were perpetually biting his lip. As you take it all in, he draws the lyre from his back, strums a chord, and begins a song.

It has been too long since I've had a chance to do this sort of thing.

Be sure to visit the baker while you're in Averaka. She's got delicious rolls, but don't you dare touch her buns.

Knowing his friend prefers cleanliness to his own godly mess, Grigorii casts prestidigitation to polish his armor and weapon before the group departs.

"Now that your lands have been cleared of those troubling you, will you return with us to join the Ruby Phoenix Tournament?"

What other properties are available, Mr. NoWatEyeMeen? I might be interested in a bigger place on Averaka, or having a vacation home for the wife and kids in Absalom.

After finishing his search of the area, Grigorii returns to stand beside Magnus, flashing a wide grin that emphasizes his tusks.

"You will cooperate completely with my friend here, now will you not?" Grigorii pauses to make sure his meaning is clear, "I would be very angry to learn that you went back on your word, yes?"

"As long as you cooperate, I will keep that feisty lass from making a dressed goose of you. If you do not, I will gladly turn the spit myself and sing a cheerful song as I do."

"Ah, well. Thank you, Pai." Grigorii says looking around for the gnome's invisible form, "We should still clear out this camp and that cave."

"It is better to lose honorably and live to fight again. We accept your surrender. Where are the arms you have taken from the centaur people?"

If not response is forthcoming, Grigorii enters an igloo to look for the stolen items.

Grigorii begins singing, hoping to inspire a mighty rage in the fervent paladin, then casts dimension door on himself and Masu and Tink if willing.

Grigorii knows a lot about axebeaks, but not what their trail might look like, "We're lucky the gnome stopped to look more closely at those flowers."

At the sight of the camp, "We should march right in and make our demands. They seem like reasonable people."

Those of us with positive scores will take our time tracking, we don't have the bonuses to hurry. But, I can sing to hustle the slower, less observant members of our party, so they don't slow us down.

"We shall recover your lance. I look forward to the prospect of battle."

When I cast blindness/deafness, I told you I would dismiss it after we had defeated the harpies. I assume that occurred as planned. Grigorii would want you to enjoy his music

Grigorii flies around singing his rage song until he reaches full health. After his performance, he resumes his marching chant. 6 rds, +24hp

Grigorii begins to sway and chant, beginning a full-round casting of fly using his second and final spell kenning for today.

"Ready or not, here I come!"

Grigorii casts haste on the party and begins his song.

"Sounds like a challenge!"

Grigorii's face assumes a mask of shock and offense at the paladin's request, "This decoration is the mark of a man who has fought bravely and survived. The evidence of battle honors Gorum and shows his favor, surely. But, I suppose the Master of the First Vault prefers his tools kept shiny and pristine." he grins and casts prestidigitation to clean Magnus's clothing and armor.

From the empathic connection he shares with his shield, Grigorii feels <Pride> <Preening>
"Glorymane is glad you noticed his origins. This shield is just a spark of his greater consciousness in a form more suited to travel the world and engage in great battles. I met him in Oppara, on one of my first assignments for the Society. His true form is quite impressive."

Grigorii whistles as he adds some grime and rearranges the gore that splatters his adamantine chain shirt, threading a few feathers through the links. Then he cleans off Glorymane's maw and returns him to an imposing shine. prestidigitation!

Do I get to kill more things? Then yes.

I don't think it affected anything, but the morale bonuses to Will saves from good hope and Inspired Rage don't stack.

Grigorii casts moment of greatness on the party.

Grigorii nods at Pai, pulls out his own metamagic rod and casts fly on Vendel with his first use of Spell Kenning for today. He gestures upward to the deaf ifrit, then stows his rod, pulls out his potion of fly, grins, and begins the ascent.

"Let us do this"

Altogether: Magnus, Masafusa, and Vendel have 18(+) minutes of fly spell, Grigorii and Tink drink potions (5 minutes each), and Pai hitches a ride with Magnus.

Moment of Greatness: You may double one morale bonus on a single roll made in the next ten minutes (such as a saving throw). (I choose initiative)

From the Regeneration rules: Creatures with regeneration ... cannot die as long as their regeneration is still functioning.

So any plan for killing a troll that does not somehow involve turning off regeneration will, by RAW, not work.

Level drain? does not work.

"Aye, we should be prepared." Grigorii casts good hope on the party. "But, I am not able to interfere with their music as some others are. The best defense is a healthy anger rising in you."

"I have a potion to help me fly, and I could ken another spell or two, as well. Either a fly or an air walk. For any as wants to climb, I can also inspire great feats of strength."

Good Hope: +2 morale saves, skills, attack, ability, damage

After the group has broken their fast and prepared, Grigorii begins a song of marching.

Grigorii's face curls into a hint of a sneer as he says to Vendel, "Do try to keep up," then signals the group to move out.

I'll heal his nonlethal damage with my wand of cure light as it comes up

Grigorii uses his second spell kenning for the day to cast blindness/deafness on Vendel, muttering about people not appreciating his music.

"I will dismiss the effect after we have dealt with the harpies... er, here." he pulls out his quill and parchment to write out a note to Vendel.

Make sure to note the penalties for being deaf, Vendel

"I would take that ring, Pai. If I stop singing at the wrong time, it can have deadly consequences."

At Tink's suggestion of earplugs, "My talents help me to resist harpy song. Earplugs would be more a hindrance than a help for me."

Grigorii scowls, "The minotaurs have captured centaur warriors instead of giving them the blessing of a clean death. They know no honor, and I am not inclined to let them live."

Grigorii casts good hope on the party and then moves to open the door, pausing only briefly to assure Pai and Masu are prepared.

Good Hope: +2 morale attack, damage, skills, saves, and ability checks (including Initiative!)

Grigorii retrieves a piece of chalk from his haversack and offers it to Tink, "I'm making mental notes of the way out, but maybe you should mark the passages as well. Just in case."

Grigorii grows visibly frustrated as the party navigates the maze, "Gorum teaches us that the path to glory leads straight ahead, toward the enemy. This is not that path."

Despite his annoyance with the twisting caverns, he attempts to compose a song to remember the way out.

Grigorii is not one for stealth, but does suggest the mesmerist cast message if anyone goes ahead.

Grigorii prefers elevators that descend a little more slowly than a dropped rock. Not to mention his head remaining on his shoulders.

Grigorii stays close behind Pai, to keep their magical link intact.
