Retcon Time! Let's do the Time Warp Again!

Grigorii, since you were readied to jump, I will let you still jump. Before you do that, I will let you get your AoO on the Blind Harpy if you want to hit her again as she goes down. I missed that Blind characters cannot take the withdraw action, but Magnus is right. Wow. Well, learn something new every day as a GM. I won't forget this one.

Vendel when you arrive, Purple is bleeding out. You may still attack if you like... the harpies have given you more than enough cause.

___

Magnus takes an AoO on the Blind Harpy. He does not need to drink his flight potion to pursue her because...

Damage: 46 + 37 = 83

...drops her. She is now bleeding out. However, if he wants to use his flight potion to take on Red, he may. Or he could just shoot at Red from the tower. Your choice!

Pai casts an acidic spray at the leader.

Androva the Red's Reflex Save: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (5) + 11 = 16 Her first failed save!

"It burns! It burns!"

Androva takes the full 26 points of damage and will take damage again next turn.

ORDER: Vendel (ran+readied attack), Pai (acid spray), Masafusa, Red Archer Harpy (-26), Blue Harpy (bleeding out), Purple Harpy (bleeding out), Tink Tink (Shred), Grigorii (AoO + readied jump), Magnus

We have... Vendel's readied attack, Masafusa's action, Grigorii's AoO and readied jump, and Magnus left. Did I miss anything here?

You find a couple of interesting things when you search. The huntress harpy was wielding an obviously magical +1 composite longbow. You also discover a partially eaten, partially frozen minotaur corpse in the northernmost tower. The harpies had only stripped off its upper garments to butcher it, but its magical boots are still intact.

Boots, Spellcraft DC 20:
They're Boots of the Winterlands. The minotaur, for all its great size, had somewhat dainty feet. These boots could be relaced to be worn by one of your party.

As Tink Tink studies the writing in the tower, he recognizes it as Ancient Azlanti, engraved in spirals and clever designs all around the inside of the tower.

Magnus:
You do see symbols here and there that you recognize as belonging to Aroden, if only because of your family's special connection to the faith. Unfortunately, you cannot make anything else out without help.

Tink Tink:
The writing consists of prayers and observances of the daily lives of a group of monks who worshipped Aroden faithfully. Many of them are beautiful poems and homilies illustrating the life of Aroden, and advocating for a simple, active life following his footsteps. It looks like these two towers are all that remains of a great monastery that was once here in these mountains. One of the spots in the tower appears to be an ancient chapel, mostly intact.

Praying in the old chapel, Magnus feels... not a connection, but maybe a moment of recognition? It’s an ancient holy place, and the stones still reverberate with a sacred aura as he prays there. His sister must see this place!

The others find nothing else of note other than scattered harpy leavings. But since there is only one corpse here, the harpies must have only been here but a few days. It's time to move on.

The party heals up and takes thorough notes on this lost Aroden monastery, and then moves on past the howling winds and treacherous ice of the Hollowfrost pass. The path forks, one leading ever upwards towards a series of caves in the cliff face. The other winds ever onwards, hugging the mountain as it takes you closer and closer to the mines. You follow it, and the sky clears.

Hustled along by Grigorii’s march, there’s no time for leisurely sight-seeing. Still, the views from these snow-capped Kortos Mounts are beautiful. Occasionally, you see birds of prey circle in the sky, or a few aurochs grazing for grass beneath the snow. You see no more harpies as you journey further and further into minotaur territory.

Survival, DC 15:
It is not hard at all to find signs of a minotaur presence in this area. There are thick tufts of minotaur fur snagged on the branches and brambles of some of the more hearty mountain shrubs, and minotaur tracks in the snow.

The trail joins up with a wide, sturdy road rutted with tracks from what appear to be very wide and heavy carts. Bits of discarded track and railing lie scattered around, and a large weathered sign reads, Northwinds Mine. There’s something else painted more recently under the sign, in a language none of you currently speak. The inside of the mine is dark, with tunnels branching everywhere.

How do you proceed?

The inside of the mine is pitch black, with only the light that you bring with you to illuminate its winding tunnels. The mineshafts vary in height from 10 feet to 30 feet, with timber supports bracing the ceiling. The tangled network of mineshafts form a sort of labyrinth, making it challenging to navigate from location to location, beginning at the mine’s entrance. Fortunately for you, Pai discerns patterns in the twists and turns, and you make good progress for the first part of the maze.
