Okay, gang. I don't know why I'm getting hung up on this. I've been allowing the tiny fox to feint enemies from very far away. I had no problem with the idea of Masa flashing his tail to distract adversaries. But the Yrthak has very different sensory modes... Perhaps a bark would disrupt sonar. Perhaps not.

The Pathfinder rules on Feint don't describe what is actually being done with a feint other than a bluff check, so I'm resorting to a real world definition here.

The real world definition of feint is "a movement made in order to deceive an adversary; an attack aimed at one place or point merely as a distraction from the real place or point of attack."

I just cannot see a bark as a feint, try as I may. Is this a failure of my GM imagination? Am I letting real world concerns get in the way of my Pahtfinder physics?

fair enough I guess. Note, under bluff, there is an increased DC based on the impossibleness of the check. I'd say a bark might just be one of those +20 DCs?

Those of us with positive scores will take our time tracking, we don't have the bonuses to hurry. But, I can sing to hustle the slower, less observant members of our party, so they don't slow us down.
